Look at the first quarter scoreline, 20-18, by today's standards that would be ridiculously low, I miss when the league still had good defense, now it feels like teams just mostly trade blowouts.
Did you watch the game? This isn’t amazing defense. It’s very obvious. These players do not have the same offensive talent as modern players. The nuggets literally started two guys who are just lane cloggers with no offensive ability.

This was prime NBA knowledge for me, my first NBA video game was 2K 7 and played it religiously. I knew everyone from 2k7 to the next 10+ years. Now I know very little but the passion is still there. Especially with the playoffs
home town clock operator at 1:48:12 started the shot clock late to help dallas burn clock. Went from a 4.5 second differential on the inbound to 4.1 second differential on the timeout at 1:48:21 (meaning dallas can burn more clock). Ironically it ended up hurting Dallas as they had less time to get up a shot after Melo makes the go ahead 3

That’s why it was important for Melo to have a traditional point guard by his side. Denver got away from that and no other team ever made an effort to do that in his prime.
Idk how he fell to the 2nd round but as a cavs fan I couldn't be happier with the pick. He looks like a combo between Durant and and Ja Morant. He can drive like Morant and cant really be stopped going to the hoop, and you have to respect that then he will hit you with a step back 3. It's going to be fun seeing him with Evan Mobley in the front court cuz Garland will be able to create real easy buckets for them both. Now they have Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Emoni Bates, Caris Lavert, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen who can score at will. Since Bates and Mobley can shoot 3's there really won't be a good way to guard this team since everyone except Allen can consistently hit 3's now. Then if you start to try and clamp down on outside shooting they'll just throw it in the paint and all of em can finish at the hoop. I have a good feeling they're going to be hard team to beat come playoff time.
