These are some of the greatest snatch blocks in NBA history but they get increasingly better as the video goes on. Business Inquiries: mcosh3@gmail.com
Snatch blocks are imo the best defensive plays a player can do. You stop the offense from scoring, and secure the ball for your team so that they can initiate the fast break. On top of that, there’s the humiliation factor that comes from just eating your opponent’s shot that you don’t get as much from a steal. Every time I see one I get excited.
@@smith285 jumping higher doesn't mean it's a foul. was a foul because he used his arm to keep the offensive player down. needless to say, he was already way above the guy from the jump, that shot was going nowhere
as i was getting close to the end of the video, i was thinking " There has got to be Shannon Brown in here"... and you did not fail! The bounce Shannon had at that time was insane!
Man back then I HATED the Lakers but remeber seeing that and was like damn Shannon got robbed, that was clean and should of been top 10 NBA plays for the year.
The Kenyon Martin block on Wade is the best block I've ever seen in a game I was actually watching as it happened - I've been telling people about that block for twenty years!
My fav play in NBA is the block (one of the reasons my fav player growing up was Andrei Kirilenko- one of the best all around players and best shot blocking small forward ever). This was fun to watch!
I know it is from a movie, but Shaq in "Blue Chips" also features that satisfiying sound when he snatches the ball with both hands during the game in the dark and gritty place while Nick Nolte scouts the players.
That Laphonso Ellis block, I think I remember from he either the old NBC intro's, or from the 'In the Pain' video. Wherever I remember it from. It is the only right choice to end the video on!
That one 7:02 with Deron Williams was insane. That easily would have been dunk of year especially considering it was over 2 defenders including Blake griffin
“Took his cornbread” 😂
😂😂
Mark Jones is mad funny lol. Some people think he’s corny but tbh I think it works for him.
@@Adrian-uq4yb corny... Like corn bread?
@@Oiled_Up_For_Lebronfirst clip bozo
@@Oiled_Up_For_Lebronliterally the first clip
That Aaron Gordon snatch was like a nba player taking the ball from a high schooler. The way he looked at him straight up put him in his place.
I thought I was the only one thinking that 😂
Time?
And Zeller is 7 feet tall. Smh.
4:37
To a Bonafide 7 footer

Agreed, way better than slamming it into the crowd and giving possession back
Swats are always crazy 😂
a defensive equivalent to a half court shot
Well said, to me it's the defensive equivalent to dunking on someone.
it's also insanely funny
Bad jump ball tosses but they get increasingly more inaccurate
ayyooo pause lol
NICE 😂
@@melztheartist??
@@melztheartistyou might be gay
@@2gutta4tv you would know
this has to be the most embarrassing play in all of basketball. I'd rather get my ankles broken than have a shot be caught mid air 😂
Broken ankles is way more common than this too
Especially on a dunk
Who blocks an alleyhoop?! Madness
You can do crossovers many times, but this requires absolute precision.
Lol and they be so funny too 😂 like lil boy you really thought you had a chance huh😂
The Shannon Brown one is my all-time favorite bench reaction. Kobe's face is priceless
still can't believe ref called that foul on shannon brown, deadass one of THE nastiest blocks ever
You're not wrong, but I feel like it's almost more humiliating for Mario West with Daddy Referee coming to his rescue. West knows what happened.
Came down so graceful too
It looked great but if you watch his left hand, he held the shooter’s shoulder down which is why the guy didn’t elevate high enough.
He literally jumped on top of the guy, just because it looked cool doesn't mean it wasn't a foul.
@@smith285 jumping higher doesn't mean it's a foul. was a foul because he used his arm to keep the offensive player down. needless to say, he was already way above the guy from the jump, that shot was going nowhere
That JaVale McGee one is FILTHY
Most satisfying video yet
Snatch blocking a 3 pointer is crazy 🫡😂
Why he DPOTY
0:01 Anthony Davis grabbed jas shot like it was nothing😭😭
Lucky bounces but they get increasingly improbable
Aaron Gordon, amazing.
JaVale McGee, insane.
Kenyon Martin, agressive underrated blocker.
Laphonso Ellis, legendary.
MJ, iconic.
Shannon Brown, sheesh.
Wizards MJ to boot.
Hassan white side ?
He literally has a comp of snatch blocks
@@Dredabeast95 I didn’t put Shannon Brown cause he was called as a foul :’(
as i was getting close to the end of the video, i was thinking " There has got to be Shannon Brown in here"... and you did not fail! The bounce Shannon had at that time was insane!
He had some springs in his shoes or something lol
@@kainoakanoe It seemed like it. Shannon Brown was always fun to watch imo
a snatchblock from a jumpshot is devious
To snatch an alley oop outta someone’s hand is certified madness lmao
Bruh I knew they were all gonna be snatch blocks and still I was surprised by so many of them. 🤣
“Gimme that ball!” Always gets me😂
“He put Saric in the friend zone with that block” 🤣🤣
0:36 As a Cavs fan I remembered watching this live and knew our team drafted someone special. He absolutely devoured Lavine's shot.
LaPhonso Ellis' snatch block still remains amazing 30 years later.
Shannon Brown still the best! Javale McGee had some sick ones too but that Brown block still holds to this day! 😂😂
Shit was all ball lol
@@velvetjonez06still lowkey makes me mad😂 nearly a decade and a half later. I remember watching that live. It was filthy
@@JDflight24 Same bro! Still get a lil heated behind that one but Kobe's reaction always make me feel better afterwards! 😂😂
Man back then I HATED the Lakers but remeber seeing that and was like damn Shannon got robbed, that was clean and should of been top 10 NBA plays for the year.
@@velvetjonez06 yea up top. Completely ignoring the body contact and the hand to the face though.
That Phons block is 30 years old and still hasn't been topped.
I came hoping to see it first and was not disappointed
When the Black Mamba does a reaction like that you know you've done pretty good 😂
This is some hardbody shit. Snatching homie's souls.
The moment I saw the title of this video all I could think about was LaPhonso Ellis from the Denver Nuggets. Very well done.
Watching that Okogie snatch live was awesome
That’s the best one from this vid. On a 3pt shot and ran back to finish a poster. Incredible
“He swallowed that ball.” WOAH!😂😂💀 0:50
These are a true lost art. So rare.
These are hilarious. I can't imagine anything more humiliating than to have a defender literally snatch the ball away from you.
Most satisfying video yet
4:48 dude went through all the stages of grief in 5 seconds
“Took his cornbread” is crazy 💀
JJJ snatch blocking a 3 is WILD
you make the best compilations by far, such good ideas for videos
The Kenyon Martin block on Wade is the best block I've ever seen in a game I was actually watching as it happened - I've been telling people about that block for twenty years!
Saw it live, and I've been looking for that Luol Deng clip for ages, so thank you. ❤
Man this channel is insane. Thank you so much for your hard work for entertaining us
Screen recording other people's content and uploading it again isn't "hard work" 😂😂😂
My fav play in NBA is the block (one of the reasons my fav player growing up was Andrei Kirilenko- one of the best all around players and best shot blocking small forward ever). This was fun to watch!
W vids cosh!! Keep up the good work!!
Shannon Brown's is just so aesthetically pleasing because it's like he descended from the rafters. Absurd height on that block.
When Ja got snatched by Davis and thought it was a foul, I about peed my pants
Rightttt 🤣🤣🤣 all ball my boi.
That mcgee block at 1:50 was the craziest he was standing still and caught a floater
a defensive equivalent to a half court shot
So many amazing blocks. Thank you.
The best ones are when they do it to 3s, but the one with Kobe and them reacting was something special.
One of my favorite plays in basketball outside of someone getting their ankles broken. The disrespect 😤
"HE SWALLOWED THAT BALL!!!"
🤣🤣🤣
Welcome to the nba moments but they get increasingly colder
Explains why mobley is so op in 2k... gawd damn😅
how has no one mentioned okogie's block yet, snatched that shit and yammed it on someone's head on the other end. ruthless
imo that 3 point block was top tier holy
This is so much more better than dunks. amazing video.
“he swallowed that ball”
You know it’s a good block when everybody sayin goaltending
Those 1 hand catches 🏀🖐 are sick! STRAIGHT UP DOMINANCE 🔥🔥🔥
The most insane video I’ve ever seen!!
I watched this just to make sure you had the Jordan block and the LaPhonso Ellis block. Good work!!
Kenyon Martin was a beast! I forgot how much I liked him and that Nets team. So fun to watch!
Always nice that you include some older videos
that jjj block on gordon is so nasty bro
6:04 ... "the ROOKIE Dwayne Wade"... 🤣🤣 Such a wierd sentence to hear lol
Hassan Whiteside will always be my favorite Heat shot blocker.
Thank you for this at first when i looked up nba snatchblocks it was mostly hassan whiteside
Mobley got some crazy hands for a young guy imagine there are many more snatches for him to come
40 year old Mike against the bulls was pretty cold.
I know it is from a movie, but Shaq in "Blue Chips" also features that satisfiying sound when he snatches the ball with both hands during the game in the dark and gritty place while Nick Nolte scouts the players.
Thanks for thw upload, coshreport
nah that aaron brooks one might have been the best one ngl😭
Shannon’s is just absurd. That man was flying 😵💫
That Laphonso Ellis block, I think I remember from he either the old NBC intro's, or from the 'In the Pain' video. Wherever I remember it from. It is the only right choice to end the video on!
ayoooo pause "He swallowed that ball" and then followed by "He ate it alive" Right after is wild lmao these commentators are wild
Petition for counting a snatch block as a block, rebound and steal on the stat sheet.
Bens block on tmac is so filthy i love it.
“Swallowed his ball” is crazy
"He swallowed the ball" oh hell nah
He swallowed that ball is crazy 😂😂
The McGee show, featuring some friends from around the league!!!
That Shannon Brown's block was the famous amongst all the blocks out there.
It made Kobe impressed and it's very uncommon for Kobe to react like that.
Alternate title- “Yea, Not Today”
0:53 nah that HE SWALLOWED THAT BALL is crazy 💀
Alternative title= player cries to the referee, but they increasingly more offensive.
My favorite was the Ben Wallace on Tmac block, it was so aggressive.
Two way plays but they get increasingly more electric
That one 7:02 with Deron Williams was insane. That easily would have been dunk of year especially considering it was over 2 defenders including Blake griffin
williams was delusional to attempt this
Getting dunked in is humiliating.
Having your shot snatched in midair is dominating.
Next video: highlights of stars before they became stars
That last block by Ellis is still the coldest block I’ve seen
most underrated play there is
3:25 Ben Wallace had the nastiest snatch block slammed it against the backboard and kept control
“He swallowed that ball” ⭕️⏸️
“Smallest man on the floor” 😂
Javelle McGee and Kristaps Porzingis could have their own highlight reel from doing this alone.
“The rookie dwayne wade” now in the hof
Shannon brown was literally waiting in mid air for that ball.
Javale and Hassan were different animals but the same beast.
"Kenyon Martin just engulfed Dwayne Wade!!!"
Bro you gotta say pause after that crap.
That metu block was unreal
These are some nasty blocks
Look at the GOAT 23 getting a snatch block well past his prime, Lecopy#23 could never….
k mart knew he was gonna gobble it up before he jumped lol. thats crazy.
