My heart goes out to the victims. I was evacuated from my home in the Thomas fire on 12/04/17 in Ca. Very scary. We were lucky. Suffered moderate damage. They’re still rebuilding our neighborhood. Stay strong folks. This will heal with time.
I am so sorry for those who have been impacted and suffered from this fire. I pray they will have the opportunity and resources to rebuild what was damaged or destroyed.
Forestry says that all these house are built in a fire zone that often has grass fires, so people might want to rebuild with non flammable materials , clay roof tiles ,stucco exterior walls , brick, any of these would have saved homes instead of asphalt shingles, plastic siding and exposed wood structure. California has the exact same building problems.
James, the whole country has this problem! The houses they build now are oversized stick houses! There is no trace of steel in them...l watched them build condominiums, te timelaps of whole process...the high priced ones... They use presswood, loaded with chemicals....wood frame, no steel even in corners to give support..... When they are done, they put up a brick facade outside, half way up the walls,to make it look good, to give a false sense of security that your house is solid.... it's horrible it is such a cheap design, but its made to look good... that's that's the way it is all over the the country The standards have plummeted yet the prices are out of this world.... it's always the people who are getting the bad end of the deal .....always that's the our celebrated ultra-capitalism, thats the name of the game. Greed has no conscience
Yep, then they lap up the SMART Meters, and smart tech, fill the chemical concoction stick houses with it willingly to show all of the people they know how well they think they are doing, and don't realize the designs others may have on them. SMART Meters... Forced on the non compliant through threats of shut offs... Just like something else we are seeing. Same perps. And so many will just repeat the same thing unless their mindset changes, which is unlikely.

As if the fire was not bad enough.....the snow is now making finding anything salvageable next to impossible. Maybe some family photos could have been saved....now all wet.

Those people don't live in that area because they are opposed to the status quo behavior of society... They help perpetrate it willingly or they would not live in places like that. Just an observation.
There is a need to implement more effective measures for fire situations like this, it was already known that there would be strong winds in this region, mostly dry vegetation burns like gasoline and it is better preventively to suppress vegetation than to lose lives and homes with all the history of people.
Does anyone know if AIR TANKERS were deployed at any time during the early stages of this Fire??

This is an unspeakable tragedy...l pray to God that each of those people who were traumatized by loss of everything they've worked for all their lives, would lift their wounded hearts to Him and let Him speak peace to their souls as they open their hearts to hear His voice. @@jenniferwise8515 no some trees were completely burned while others weren't. It depends on the species of trees. Look to nature for answers not science fiction. Houses are made out of dead wood, trees are living and store water in them. Have you ever tried starting a fire with a wet log? Doesn't work, I wonder why.
Some times trees burn and they don't appear to have caught on fire. I've seen it after fires in the mountains it weird. Although the tree dies.

lol yeah I was thinking that too, bc reality is they had the crew ready to be in the neighborhood as soon as they got rumor that it was opening back up and they knew people would be coming back to the ruins and so they sat there waiting like nature photographers coming to see a migration of wildebeest sets up and looks for the wildebeest ahead of time. but by saying it was just a coincidence it draws more attention to how they hunted on purpose for crying people shocked by loss.
