What does that even mean? I mean in Forza, there's at least damage unlike GT..

GT not even that real, when you compare it to Assetto Corsa or iRacing, the game also have a questionable crash physics
Forza on the other hand have good crash physics, but at the same time have less realism that GT does
Both are equally simcade, it's just based on what you choose
Really surprised at how smoothly this challenge went, that CLK was the absolute GOAT

The Cadillac CIEN is pronounced “See- _ENN”._
_Cien_ is the Spanish word for 100, as the car was made to celebrate Cadillac’s 100th anniversary.

There is one used venue that has a Mitsubishi Lancer wich is under 10k and allows you to beat the rally of Costa di Amalfi and get the Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car. With it you can beat (almost)every other rally event. It's way faster. Car prizes in Rally events are INCREDIBLE too, so you can get pretty far without spending too much.
If you're not interested in going through this challenge and/or you have only the 10k to start with, all you have to do is:
• buy the Lancer
• complete the A license
• win the Rally
• sell the Toyota and make ~276.000 credits.
Within an hour of gameplay. Maybe less.

You don’t have to spend anything in the beginning. You can just complete license tests yourself, get some really strong cars, and use them in champs, winning some more cars.
Namely, Mazda RX-8 concept is an extremely strong car that can be obtained via a license. With it you can win the LM concept RX-8 which is ridiculously OP and can be used in a lot of challenges. I’ve beaten Japanese GT champ with LM RX-8.
That is true I could have tried but I'm not the best at them , mostly able to get silvers and a few golds but not full golds
Hpa (tuning showroom) r32 golf is great starting car and can be used in USA events due to being categorised wrong.

From the start, if possible, I would've forgone the Licence transfer. That's 2-6 prize cars that can be freely enjoyed. Not sure how useful they'd be, but they could be worth a shot at something

I did something similar to this in GT3 and frankly it was too easy. I was able to complete the f1 championship in abt five hours. GT4 would be a better candidate bc of size and diversity of cars needed.

I remember a Ferrari game for the PS2 that was my first contact with sim racing, an arcade near my home had this game with a full wheel setup and triple monitors. I think it was 355 Challenge or something like that
GT4 was the last GT where you could use the Action Replay code mods so I had 999,999,999 cr and had multiple full garages. Good times

Jokes aside as someone who hasn't touched a GT game, the game is quite generous with giving you cars, not to mention really good ones from what I can tell. This was a pretty interesting challenge overall, I wouldn't mind seeing more of these in the future. Great video as always, Dove. 👍

Gt4 is just amazing. Started playing again and it just embarrasses GT7 as a game. You had so much choice, GT7 is just completely linear, PD have lost all idea on how to make a good game.
The moment they went always online it became a dead game. Good games are the ones you can play forever and offers you lots of content.
The hsr2 has ailerons they are essentially used to curtail aerodynamic forces on one side or the other of the car causing increased downforce and turn in or braking when required. the Pagani Huayra and Utopia are also known for having these

you can win the gt world championship with the Nissan R390 GT1 road car with some upgrades and tuned gear ratio. cost me about 1,000,100 in total
@@mariamalgorzata4974 You can even beat the F1 Nordchelife event with it, though it is pretty hard (but good challenge). R390 is the easiest upgradable road car to win the GTWC. Try with one of the Vipers.

If you play the European version, passing the B and A licenses is only possible through imporing a GT4 Prologue save file on top of having 100.000 Cr for a GT3 save file
I only play on NTSC version , mainly cause of the 480p progressive option so the game looks a lot better
@@DoVe_7 and due to 50fps, the physics are more bouncy in PAL and racing tyres wear out quicker. I guess you can say the PAL version is worse to play than NTSC but has an easier mission 34
Dove, you should have used the CIEN to enter the US Races, they give the Chevy Chevelle or the Corvette C1, which are far more powerful than the Skyline you used.

Step 3, use your new Toyota RSC Rally Raid to destroy like a quarter of all races.
Isn't the CLK the same car that had been built with so much downward force, that if the front lifted, it would lift off the ground completely? Like it would flip?
The car that flipped was the CLR it came after the CLK GTR v12 and the CLK LM v8. The clr was actually meant to resemble the CL class, not the CLK.

Yeah when you get the Cien concept you just roll. When I was a kid this mistake in the pregression scheme of the game went over my head. But not in GT5 🤣 The Bugatti you get from the starter mission in special races, 15 minutes into the game... That messed up the whole game imo.

11:45 i mean if the whole Nissan situation is anything to go by, then its a shit show. CEO of Nissan at the time was some French guy who, at the end of the day, was basically framed for a ton of shit that every other CEO was also guilty of.
Carlos Ghosn fucked Mistubishi over, which is probably why they're in such rough shape. That said, the Japanese bubble popping in the early 90s wrecked a lot of Japanese companies, including Mitsubishi.

Forgive me if I’m missing the intent of the challenge, but to start, Why didn’t you go through the first two licenses for silver, and complete through ia to get 6 cars, then go through the special condition events and driving missions to get a number of cars to start going through the game?

I started over because of this and i was kjnd of far lol
try beating gt4 but only with money u get from selling cars u won (u are not allowed to use prize cars). Also any money u get from races is not existent u only can use bought cars that u afforded due to selling prize cars. On start of the run i hope u can sell license award cars to fund your first car, if not u can "lend" 20k to get first car or smth like that :)

Hear me out...up the budget a touch, but also turn this into a Nuzlocke 👀
No save states, lose a race, sell the car, (unless it's a tournament, then only if you lose the tournament) this'll add serious weight to not only the starter car choice/upgrades but also means you'll likely need to hop between more events to get cars more likely to win certain events from prizes OR you could brute force risk (*cough* Forza) events with less ideal cars... I'd love to see the map you're forced to chart out in your mind between all the events while balancing out risk.
I've had ideas for a nuzlocke challenge but trying to think of the rules and to make it fun is a little bit tough for this game tbh
