- Was out shooting with a Samsung NX100 today putting it though its paces for an upcoming review on my main channel / blunty3000
Recorded this 50 minute long video sequence at circular quay, then compressed it to under two minutes. Nice sunsets here in Sydney.
It's a bit shakey because I only had my super lightweight tripod with me (So not ideal for long time-lapse shots) and it was pretty windy...
The footage here isn't raw as the camera spat it out, I pushed the contrast and colours up a bit in the edit and tweaked the gamma a bit just to make it sing a little more. - Розваги
its simply amazing how beautiful the passing of time can be.
Beautiful ... Sometimes I miss Sydney.
I love time lapse videos. If I owned a video camera I would make so many of them. Thanks for uploading this!
Beautiful colours during a long time, rare !
My most favorite city on Earth!
lovely, and the music is beautiful
I am no expert with cameras but I thought that was shot very beautifuly despite you using the lightweight tripod making it a little shakey. Thanks for the nice relaxing vid Nate.
Love time lapses. Great footage.
Beautiful video, i'm getting this camera for my Mum for Christmas
Love this film!
The water is so hypnotizing =3.
@thedigitalgeneration Some Cameras like the JVC Everio GZ-HM1 (Blunty reviewed the GZ-MS120) has a Time Lapse Recording feature. It does take a picture at a selected time interval, but it is recorded as a Frame in Video file. How Convenient! I have a Seattle Sunset, I might just have to put it up.
Very nice , Blunty. It's almost like sunsets in West Virginia, except yours has an urban background and it's southern hemisphere....... lol
very calming
It looks awesome congratulations
@thedigitalgeneration Depends how you do it. you can either take real time video and speed it up, or some cameras have the ability to take a still shot at timed intervals which you can then assemble into a video in an editing suite. Google for more info.
i really like the windshear :)
@BluntNate I've checked! I am really happy to find you. BTW, where is the place? I'm really looking forward to New Year's eve. :) Huge fireworks!
@Stonerbwoi420 It's just a loop track from Apple iLife.
@BakurasPokeDex no. The moon rose while this was filming.
@thedigitalgeneration to time lapse you just need to take a pic every few seconds then you use it like an animation so about the length of the film i would guess
@BluntNate ah right my camera has a time lapse feature but ive never used it, just wondered really
Beautiful :)
@samsungimaging Only wish I had more than my super-lightweight tripod with me so it was nice and steady all the way through. Damn nice camera though (you can see more of what I shot this day on my full review of the NX100 in my Main youtube channel "Blunty3000" - I got some great stills :)
love it, it's pretty spectacular - did you do the same for the moon rise you mentioned on Twitter?
beautiful :3
I have enjoyed my nx100 though i have never tried shooting at night with it not sure how it would do
very pretty sky but i just couldn't stop looking at the water, i really don't know why :s
blunty, if you took a time lapse of 24 hours, would you need a memory card capable of holding 24 hours of video or just the length of the final vid?
Were you just sitting there.. oor?
wow
wow that is good
God that's pretty.
@Stonerbwoi420 Your Flowers Stefano Bonacina
