Great video. nowadays, a 9+ inches portable car play/android auto with built-in dash-cam cost only lower $100, it seems a much cheaper and easier alternative than a double din unit.

I'm assuming you replace the 4 screws that hold the radio before replacing the other panels? The wires that do not go into the new wiring harness, are they plugged into the back of the radio?

@@Mr4Grim yo mrgalantguy! Hope you are doing well. Yeah, me and the family are loving it. Works well on our Sienna. The only downside I can think of is the usb units charge the phones super slow. Fyi, if you want android auto/Apple CarPlay you need to buy separate dongle,

@@Mr4Grim Nope! It’s not bad at all. The sound is great! The equalizer built into the unit is what helps. I’m not sure if any dongle would work. The store you buy the unit from sells the dongle.

I love the video, but when you run the mic and the GPS you gotta make sure the wires clear the airbag assembly in the column. I'm not sure yours did there

i bought this but where is the reveres camera plug in. I did harness with factory camera so it works when i use aux video port rca in but i need to manually click on the screen (Aux Video In)every time to see the camera when i reverse but i could not able to find direct RCA plug for reverse camera and specially the power wire which sense and trigger on the screen when you put on a reveres gear. There is a RCA input with a separate power wire says Power back and Fcam on RCA. but dont wanna take a risk untill you confirm

This is complicated. The rear uses a 6 volt so you have to use a converter with the connected wire. There's a way to hack it www.siennachat.com/threads/which-stock-wires-to-use-to-connect-stock-backup-camera-to-aftermarket-receiver.11588/ . I'm looking for an option to replace that crap without too much headache. I'm not sure which is easier yet.
Yes, i did it on mine.. its not a rocket science.. Just take RF lead and connect one side to stereo reverse cam and other side to the plug(connector) of your default screen but you need to cut and joint it manually.

Can I use it with the original rear view camera and GPS? I have a sienna, which already has navigation and rear view camera. I would like the Android Auto upgrade.
Answering my own question: Their website says, it does work with the original GPS and rear view camera. The downside is, it doesn't work with the original microphone that is already wired into the car, you still have to wire the one that comes with the kit. When I looked, it doesn't seem like they have this unit in stock though.
