Ryan completely changed the league in these times where most people would copy others content and milking through it. I'm just glad that he thought of this series a while ago. What melted my heart is that he did this for charity and along the way, he met a lot of amazing people which kinda makes me have a little hope for us in the world we currently live in. He deserves every bit of respect from his fellow UA-camrs! We absolutely respect you for not asking something in return while you help to those people who are in need. Very proud of you, Ryan!

It's so lovely to see someone be open about christianity, especially as a christian person who struggles to find christian content creators. These days, it's difficult to speak about religion because of all of the tension- no one want to push religion on anyone and make things uncomfortable- but I love that he's unafraid to be who he is and is unapologetic for loving God. Thank goodness for Hailey, being gracious and helping Ryan meet God and letting him finally be full and happy because of God's love.

You took the words right out of my mouth. It’s one thing to be a Christian, it’s another to be a Christian that’s open about their faith, and it’s an entirely different thing to be a Christian who’s also a popular UA-camr and still incredibly open about their faith. I'm a transgender man in a relationship with a cisgender man, and I love Jesus. We all sin, no matter who you are, but Jesus understands our lives and hearts. He died to save all of us, taking the punishment for our sins. I just do my best to follow the great commandment to love God and my neighbors. I try to never choose self-serving at the expense of others. My body and my relationship doesn't harm anyone, but Christians who teach that Jesus doesn't love LGBTQ people do harm a lot of people. Jesus loves EVERYONE, even the most despicable. We all die alone, so there won't be any pastors or preachers there to blame for misleading you. What matters is being true to your heart so you can be honest with yourself and God. If you can do that, you will be freed from fear and empowered by Truth 🙏

Personally, even though I label myself a Christian, I do not see myself religious despite the fact that I believe in the Holy Trinity. In fact, I'm not a big fan of the label of being consider religious because the word feels so cult and conspiracy like. I personally see Christianity as spiritually knowing oneself and keeping a good personal relationship with God and treating others the way you want to be treated. I don't feel like I fit in majority of the Christian crowd in church because I have more of a progressive view on life than most members of the church. My mom sometimes questions me if I'm a real Christian because I don't feel conviction in my heart for being part of the lgbt community. Our different views have and still is leaving us in some bumpy roads in our relationship, but I still love her despite her worries and annoying criticism.

i've been watching ryan since the commentary days and as someone who is cynical towards christianity due to severe religious trauma as a child seeing people like ryan helps ease that hurt. whenever everything someone does is motivated by love and changing the world for the better and if jesus is what made them realize that and become that person, i just think it's so beautiful regardless of how i feel towards it. i cling to people like that and my loving friends who are still christians to not be a cynical and jaded person, i needed that.
my journey is very similar to anthony and i love having conversations with christians like ryan because i feel like we gain so much knowledge and empathy and understanding from each other and watching that is really nice. sorry for the long sappy comment but the I Spent A Day With series is so valuable to me for the perspectives it gives so thank you so much to everyone involved for doing what you do!

Wow. Yeah, as a Christian I totally get that. There are bad people in the church, some would go as far as saying the devil has brought them there to seperate others from God. Remember that those people who hurt you aren’t a good representation of God’s love. You want to know that you are safe if you were to die. ALSO, I believe Satan tries to bring people with the MOST potential down. Without a doubt you can do amazing things with God. Reply, or not. You don’t have to if you don’t want to.

I know it doesn't make much sense but I don't think all of it is bad. Like everything else, there are always extremists and horrible people but that can't offset the positives that also come from religion like charity work, loving communities and a sense of belonging. Also my Grandma was a christian, she died in comfort because she believed she had a place to go and see her husband, and who am I to deny that right?

Jesus is the ultimate source of love. All other world views promote hating your enemy. Not forgiving (tho some do say forgive). But Jesus goes beyond that. He not only tells you to forgive your enemies but he also says to pray for your enemies. Pray for those who persecute you. Could you die for your enemies when they don't deserve mercy? That's how much Jesus loves you.
Funny how we live in a society that is deficient in love and is showing unhealthy symptoms, and when presented with the TRUE medicine in Jesus Christ, they reject it. The devil will trick you and shake shiny things in front of you "oh look at spirituality it will make you fell complete" but feeling complete isn't the same as BEING complete. Don't fall for instant gratification. That includes gratification for your whole life because 70-90 years of life is considered instant gratification compared to your eternal gratification in the afterlife. There is a God shaped hole in all our hearts. We were meant to glorify the most beautiful being in existence and in which we ourselves would be complete. Spirituality without Jesus is evil. Cuz after all, demons are spiritual beings too. Stop trying to make a better life here on earth when the eternal life after this one is more important. Kinda like investing in the future
"For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it"

You’re very right. Many Christians think that because of their faith they’re less of a sinner than the people around them, but that just isn’t true. The real difference is how Christians choose to follow Jesus and accept that he ultimately paid for their sins. It’s not about sinning vs not sinning, it’s about believing, and many people forget about that.

He has so much joy and happiness and he’s just radiating the love of Christ through everything he does!” And to hear him say that he is a believer in Jesus is so exciting! Him talking about his faith made me get teary eyed, I’ve been trying to reason and reckon with God, Jesus, and Christianity, A bit more than a month ago we had a housefire and lost everything, I’ve been questioning God and myself a lot lately and I still am praying and reading the Bible.
    It felt good venting :)

I've had those moments too man, Ryan's journey has resonated with me in such a powerful way. I've been reading this verse and it has connected me with God just knowing that He is with me and having an out loud conversation with Him and feeling His love: For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
      Hebrews 4:10 NKJV
I've been realizing I hadn't been resting with God, I always felt like I had to accomplish something to get to Him. But God showed me otherwise. 😁

i had only heard of ryan a day ago and during that time i binge watched his entire 30 day series and i was shocked. how can a person by so optimistic, empathetic, grateful, gritty, and above all so warm and uplifting. i really enjoyed this interview as it showed me that ryan wasn't always someone who could say that they're 100% proud of what they're doing; he had to work hard to get to where he is and even if ryan isn't proud of himself for what he's accomplished thus far, i want him to know that he's in the top .01% of people that have had a noticeable impact on the world and we, viewers, are extremely proud of you. what you did was so crazy if you hadn't recorded it nobody would believe it 🤷🏻

The people you interview are all very successful and are successful because of their dedication and strengthened mindset that they have achieved through vague and other sadistic experiences. Need less to say that these icons you feature are extravagant, you too, Anthony are an extravagant person. Not once in my lifetime have I seen an interviewer that feels so relatable talking to. Every person you feature has this connection with you where they don't stutter or feel shy to talk to an audience because you make them feel like you are a close friend. You are an icon in the history of UA-cam already, but your style of thinking and adapting to any person's mindset is truly an admirable thing that I have never witnessed.
