SBMM makes people sweat and frustrated, I stopped playing Overwatch because of it, completely unplayable. Unfortunately a vast majority of people are clueless to SBMM.
Mostly just new player's. It's actually what Activision wants. The new players have no idea what cod was before thick sbmm. The randomness, the friendships created, the amazing smack talk and the rivalry. My highest ratio was 1.90 and that was in MW3. I can't even break 1.45 now. I love the competition, the competitiveness, but i can't stand going against UA-camrs i have no shot against. With thick sbmm,it seems as if that's all i play against. I never enjoyed Modern Doorfare 2019 (I almost quit during its lifecycle). I’m so glad that I retired from cod & I have no regrets about my decision. It’s just sad to see the franchise go down in flames.

After playing cod consistently since COD4 to BO1, taking a break due to lack of a console and then again consistently playing BO3 to COD Vanguard, I finally uninstalled MW2019, COLD WAR, and Vanguard 2 months ago now. I haven’t had even the slightest urge to reinstall. Been playing Elden Ring and Wonderlands as of late.
Been going back and playing older cods on my ps3 and I forgot how fun cod use to be. World at war only had like 30 people online but surprisingly didn’t have any trouble finding a match. Bo2 is the best cod IMO only problem is hackers are common there.

Ways to tell you're in a sweat lobby: 1. The moment you aim, they start spamming the jump button. 2. They slide canceling all over. 3. You get blasted from across the map as soon as you spawn. 4. They are level 100 the first day of season launch.
I blame Activision for not applying A: A good Matchmaking system and B: For not implying a good anti-cheat in time or someone exposing the anti-cheat so cheaters would exploit it. I do like MW 2019 at times but what really makes it so stressful is both of those and not managing weapon balancing well. it took 2 effing years to nerf the Uzi man, that says a lot about them and the fact the rushed released CW and Garbageguard.
Yeah the time waiting to fill the lobbies with the most equal skilled players is what killed the game for me. I could handle the sweats but not wasting minutes at a time between matches to be put in the last 2 mins of a game in progress.
I hate how sbmm never gives me good teammates of my skill level. It annoys me when I come back to cod after weeks or months without playing and the game decides to put me in a lobby where the enemy team are just Rose Skins with an overuserd meta class, and my teammates are players that will go below 1 kd in that match.

I haven't played a PvP match in cod in forever. I just do solo zombies, or dabble in spec ops if I like wasting time. Haven't booted up a cod game in at least 5 months.

I haven't played a PvP match in cod in forever. I just do solo zombies, or dabble in spec ops if I like wasting time. Haven't booted up a cod game in at least 5 months.
Everyone swear they hated the jetpack COD's but all I see is sweats spamming the jetpack movement slide cancel, bunny hop, they snuck movement into cod without jetpacks, called it new and now everyone love's it 😂

SBMM made me quit CoD entirely. WARZONE got old pretty quick and I can't deal with my team going double negative when I drop 15 in SnD every game 🙄

At this point, SBMM is obviously very prevalent, but there must not even be that many FFA lobbies anymore. I think people who still play MW 2019 multi in general are just sweaty and know how the game works
