I'm not so convinced it does. If you look she's never pulling with her arms, she's just hanging with them. She's managing her momentum with her core rather than her arms (which still requires a fair amount of strength, just in a different place)
It's really not that hard. I used to do this in gymnastics and even kids can do it, she did make a beautiful display of it though. It was calming to watch.

The thing is, it really isn't that hard to do, it's really just physics that your body reconnected with. You just need to find that point where it all flows at the right rhythm.
