How do you do this without getting bruises. I did a 6 week course and was covered in bruises. I did love it though. Wish I could have carried on.

Bruises are part of the process whether you're a beginner or advanced. Sometimes they're avoidable as you improve your technique, but oftentimes they are inevitable so you just get used to them.
