Great video. If you you have a high pulley but not low pulley for anybñ reason, you can add multiples rings to the side of this tree to now have multipñe lowe pulley.
Yep! Much better with steel pipe! I was pleasantly surprised with how solid the wooden dowels were. This was made during lockdown and had to use what I could get my hands onto 👍☺️
I’ve put 4x5kg plates on the bottom holder. It takes them easily. I put the heaviest plates lower down as it’s more sturdy, avoid making it top heavy so it doesn’t fall over. Roughly speaking I have 8x1.25 kg on top rung, 8x2.5 kg on second one down, 8x2.5 kg on the third and 4x5kg on the bottom. It could hold more but that’s all I need on there at the moment. Hope this helps. Please subscribe for more great videos. 👍🤞
Thank you! Not bad for an off it of fence post and some scraps of hardwood! It actually holds up really well and the broom sticks take the weight easily which I was concerned about.
Hello my friend, thanks for your comment. What links do you mean? The materials used were just some scrap wood I had and some nails and a broom handle. The main piece was a 4inch by 4inch offfcut from a fence post and the oak was around 2inch by 1inch offcut. The broom handle was 1 inch diameter as the weight plates I have are 1inch holes, you could also use metal pipe but the wood is more than strong enough. I hope this helps. Stuck in multiple lock downs?
Let me know where you are and how long your gym has been closed...
I’m based in the UK, this is our third national lockdown. My original gym has been shut for months and months 😭 🇬🇧
My gym in the basement never closes
Very true! 💪 Open all hours. 👌
You make it look easy. Gonna give it a go. Thanks for the video
Where I am, it worked out cheaper to buy a weight tree. Wood prices in the UK are a joke..
Cool project, very informative
Thank you my friend 😊 I’m glad to help, let me know if you have any questions.
Many thanks for your tutorial; excellent 👍🏼
I want to know the maximum weight load that this wooden weight tree can hold without cracking?
I couldn’t say for sure, have only used for lighter weight plates. If you want to use for heavier I would use a metal bar.

Great work bro
Thank you! It has come in handy for sure. Please subscribe for more great projects
Nice but I'd switch the dowels for steel pipe

How much weight do you think a set up like this could hold

Great job looking good

Can you paste links to individual pieces?
