    Nice video, i have the same scale and used it to do the same thing when i rebuilt my pedestal. The tape measure built in is very handy. Great video wish it was up when i did mine.

      Thanks buddy, yeah I wish I'd saw one as well. I made this around a year and a half ago, just going through and uploading stuff I never got around to producing. I'm pretty lazy and hate a computer.

    Have you ever seen anyone use that valve as an exhaust brake. Is there anyway that can damage the engine by doing that. Glad to see you’re making videos again.

      Hey thanks, this one was done around a year and half ago but I do have recently made stuff.
      Anyways, well it causes soot to build up especially if you press the go pedal with it closed and roll coal. Higher EGTs when in use, but I do it too and I haven't ruined an engine with one, just no high RPMs or long periods of use and you should be fine.

      Your welcome, yeah you can use an ohm meter on it, I have no idea what a good one would test as but the easiest way is in the cold if it isn't shutting the EBPV on the turbo then that's prob the most obvious... I've never had a truck with a bad one yet, I don't think that's a common issue, the pedestal leaking sure is though.

    I have a 2002 F450 with 7.3 in it rough idle sounds like it's running on half cylinders till it gets warm going down the road after letting it run for 45 minutes in the yard drive it a few miles and then the check engine light goes off and the truck runs and purrs like a kitten but if you switch it off go back out the next morning crank it up light comes on and it's rough idling again anyone be able to help me it would be much appreciated

      I have 99 f350 7.3l and had problems like yours. It continued to get worse. It was exhaust back pressure tube and icp sensor plugged. There was no oil residue on the plug tho like some say that it happens when they go bad.
