All you need is the EZ Cane Handle System. a 7/16" drill bit and a little epoxy. Just used this adapter for handle install on the first cane I made. Worked Great first time. Highly recommended. No issues ordering and showed up early. I will be repeat customer.
Thanks for the video good information
Thank you :)
Subbed and thumbs up.
For Christmas, I was given a cane. It is a metal one that has the knob attached to it. From what I can see it is like the type in this video. The cane is a bit too short, so I was wondering how I could take the knob off without tearing it up so it could be used on a longer shaft.
Good question. It really depends on how the handle was fastened to the cane shaft. Please give us a call and we could probably help a little better over the phone.
Question: Do you make adapters for the bottom of the canes? I walk with a cane all the time and find I wear out the bottom rubber. Being able to screw in new bottom rubber instead of sliding it over top of the wood would be nice or if in the outdoors screw in a gaff or spear tip for fishing or frog gigging. Great video, thanks for taking the time to make this. Peace
I think we have just the tip for you. We call it a combo tip because it has both a rubber foot as well as a spike. Here is a link. treelineusa.com/walking-sticks-and-canes/walking-stick-and-cane-tips/brass-and-chrome-cane-tips/

Hi Andrew. You can purchase these supplies on our website at www.treelineusa.com
I'm finally going to finish my mom's cane. I used a branch from my Ash tree. I sanded it down and will stain it. should I stain the cane first or after I add the handle?
I would stain it first and then mask off around the handle incase the epoxy comes out.
Does the handle come with the attachment kit?
Good question. Because not everyone uses the EZ Fastening system, we sell that kit separately. Here is a link. treelineusa.com/e-z-cane-handle-fastening-system/
Is this the one from rockler
The EZ Cane Handle Fastening system was designed by Treeline for the handles Treeline sells.
