  • @29jaimeq

    As a music teacher, I’ll be honest with you, you have a wonderful voice but don’t over do it with the runs. You don’t have to do a run after almost every word or it’ll just sound weird. And be careful with the whistle tones because if not done properly they can really harm your vocal chords. Especially since you didn’t really do whistle tones, you were just sucking in air really hard and trying to sing while doing that. Whistle tones are done by releasing air not sucking in air. You have an amazing voice though! Practice your runs a little more and don’t over do them :) that’s my advice to you. Good luck :)

    The improvement is great. The tone, resonance, and breath support sound great. Being someone who has studied voice for 6 years, don't get get caught up with high notes. Giving your middle and lower range some more attention will give you a more balanced pitch range. Keep up the work.

    Thid sums pretty much any passionate “singer” some people start with God given talent always a step ahead but some work hard to bring the talent out of themselves. When I started taking singing seriously I was obsessed with vibrato overlooking other important stuff pretty much like your high pitch thing so I get ya. When you start looking every aspect of singing and get the control, everything comes along with it. Especially vibrato lol. Lots and lots of practice. Good job! What an improvement.

    • @Popopatop
      @Popopatop 7 років тому

      GurrGamer LMAO! That's so funny cuz I feel the same way. I got a little vibrato crazy too cuz it was like the first cool thing I learned how to do but then I felt myself trying to chase the vibrato instead of focusing on proper support or placement then I just started trying to gradually improve everything together and it's a lot better that way cuz then you got some good solid foundations and that's better than two party tricks when the rest of your singing is shite. I look back at the days before I ever even took a class and I chuckle cuz I remember trying to school one of my friends on what I thought vibrato was and I was literally using my neck muscles to like wobble my voice LMFAO oh jeez it was crazy but u gotta love a beginner : ) love looking back on progress like that and feeling good about how far practice and patience takes you

      The Narrator Yep, I'm talking about chest voice. If I included growl and head voice to my vocal range, I could go from F1 to C6, but that's not the point because my usable range doesn't all those notes, just my chest register until now

    Inspirational. You have made amazing progress. Your latest clip at the end sounds like it's where your voice naturally sits in terms of tone. But you have an outstanding range and the flexibility to take your voice right up high. I guess when we are learning and finding the limits of what we can do we can get seduced by tricks we have learned and think that is the most important thing going for us. But they are kind of like the icing on the cake and should be used in moderation. You've clearly got a lot of potential. I love the fun you have too. Messing about and playing with different sounds is how we can find new ways of making use of this instrument.

    The trick to vocal runs is this. Use your ear.... not your mind. People tend to hear Christina Aguilera and get in the habit of THINKING how she does the vocal runs. She uses her ears, not her mind. Secondly, you do vocal runs with your lower abdomen. Like a stomach pushing out notes. You know you're doing them correctly if you feel your stomach vibrate. People like Ariana Grande who use their jaw to do vocal runs do them incorrectly.

    Not only could we witness his voice development but his gradual relaxation when singing after 3 years. At the first part we saw him stiffly singing, and stiffly sitting down but as we watch he slowly become more comfortable singing and moving about his body. I believe that confidence and relaxation is very important when singing, and I think as we grow and correctly practice singing we grow that confidence.

      From the perspective of a professional video game player I think you need a reality check and some information. Some players could come into the game when it started and dominate but singing dosent really have a start so consider the start a young age. They are the beta players. They are absolute beast and everyone respects them because of their experience. Not all of them are committed and will not continue the path because they might like other things. But the ones who stay determined as beta usually are the best in the field. We have the late comers or the new and coming pros . They are people have have so much time and dedication that can surpass what some did in 3 years in a period of a 1 year or maybe less. This requires all your time and energy but it's the fastest. Some players could naturally other grind , some players had more money and thus helped them. The thing it just depends . You can't always pick what you will be natural at and you might not have the time. will and determination to do it . But I can say one thing for sure that most people who play don't come into the game thinking about how much time or even question if they can be pro. They play because they enjoy the game and it's fun to them. If you see singing like you do in the post it most likely won't work for you because if you truly were passionate about it that it wouldnt be a question of length because you would have already been rocking out. During my process of becoming pro I can say if it wasnet for my connections it wouldn't have happened because you gain insight regual people will not know that are important to becoming the best. But I'm a believer that anyone determined enough to seek will find

      Get lessons, they help! I got them three months ago and I am already seeing major improvements. It could take longer for you because I already knew how to read notes and I already had a decent tone, apparently I am a "Natural singer" said by my vocal couch, but I dont believe it at all. No one is born and just knows how to sing, it takes practice no matter who you are. Private lessons help alot and if you get them you will see improvements fast.
      Get them like once or twice a week and after a month you will already see improvements. And dont just practice singing with the couch, practice at home whenever you can. Doing these things will make you a good singer after like 3-5 months

      Mac_h 5 not really, lol, but it did get get pretty good comparatively. I hope he's still practicing because he has excellent potential.

      I mean while I agree his voiced wasn't great at the start. It suddenly wasn't bad. He held pitches, he had fairly good control of his voice. It just needed refining. He's probably better than me now and I've been singing since i was 4.

    I LOVE the fact that you had the courage to upload this, your voice can/will (probably already does) make heads turn (in a great way). Keep working hard, as you now know it gets you a long way ❤

    What are you talking about you're amazing. I've always loved music but couldn't sing. But I'm finally pursuing it at 15, been going for four months and I'm getting better. I come here alot for inspiration
