I think Broly is a lot like a much more powerful Gohan in a way. His potential is probably even higher than Goku and Vegeta, he just never had something push him that hard before. Vegeta going God kicked his Saiyan blood in the ass though, and he grew exponentially because of that. When he triggered Super Saiyan he didn't just go into a regular form, he entered the True Super Saiyan state through immense sorrow. Goku is the Fighter Vegeta kinda fits Martial Artist/Mage and Broly is the Berserker. Way stronger than everyone else but equally uncontrollable to the point of beating God Ki. If Broly had more time to grow and get stronger he probably would have defeated Gogeta. Gogeta however is a fusion with an immense base power level, probably putting him at the power of Blue Vegeta and Goku combined as a Super Saiyan. Gogeta also had far more experience than Broly overall. If Broly had Super Saiyan for longer he might have been able to overwhelm him eventually though. Broly was basically operating entirely on animalistic instinct by the time he went Wrath. He was basically turning half Super Saiyan 4 and then he stacked Super Saiyan and the Legendary state on top. Broly with the same training Goku and Vegeta went through and God Ki. That is a scary thought.
Dylan Reed Broly just needs to learn to control his power just like kale did. If he can learn to tap into those forms whenever he needs to he certainly would give Gogeta a better run for his money. I think the only reason Gogeta was beating him so bad was because he immediately went blue after super saiyan. If he went ssj2 against legendary super Saiyan Broly he probably would have been beaten still. I can see him and Broly at the same level of power when Broly’ sin legendary super saiyan and Gogeta is in ssj3 or god. Blue is just overkill though
@@ugp0978 Yeah I personally think Gogeta took a lot after Vegeta in that regard. It was relatively even and Broly was winning after he went legendary, then blue came out and murdered him. Gogeta also had one or two more forms still if we're counting Kaioken, so even if we got to that point Broly was screwed unless he got SSJ2 or had a lot more control. To be fair though, it would not have been a good idea to hold back against someone who grows at that fast of a rate.

it has already been stated in the movie that he has mutated saiyan genes. he is a mutant for crying out loud and there are 1 in a million of them as per the scientist. that's why he is put in the elite's capsule/chamber as well for further observation. 🤔

Broly isn't shackled to his rage to produce power. It may be the quickest way he taps into it, but you've not understood the subtlety of it. The more power he gets the more energetic he becomes. His rage doesn't dictate his level of power. His level of power adds anger, but he's able to tap into a level and type of power that's a true rarity in the universe. Beerus stated himself that all mortals draw their strength from the universe, but has no affect on him. Zamasu even stated that Goku and Vegeta didn't create the transformational energy of Blue.
They say Broly is a mutant, so my belief is that Legendary Super Saiyan is a form that uses the full potential of it's base Saiyan, causing it's host to be on verge of Oozaru AND Super Saiyan at the same time, all the time, basically like an incomplete form of Super Saiyan 4 from GT. The forms can trigger separately and passively join, leading to the many different forms Broly seems to take in the films. This would explain the massive muscle size increase and the loss of focus that comes from the form, as well as the power this man unleashes during the movie; This man is probably at Super Saiyan 4 levels for strength, without even pushing himself. On top of this, emotional stimulus is a part of a Saiyan's power, as Akira has noted multiple times with S-Cells. And Broly seems to be kind-hearted when not agitated, meaning he's passively increasing his capabilities until when he eventually does loose control next. This would explain why it's so easy for him to pull out so much power so quickly, because he, like our orange plot-armored protagonist god, has a passive personality, a rare disposition amongst the warrior race. Something else that could be adding to his strength in the films is Zenkai: Broly seems to almost relish punishment in his films, like he almost wants to tank it, and this Lengendary form, if it does in fact merge Super Saiyan and Oozaru passively, may have some accelerated healing factor, leaving to instant Zenkai boosts as he becomes more and more battle damaged, meaning fatigue, damage, concussions and pain in a fight would only serve to strengthen Broly if it didn't straight out take him out. I personally like the new Broly, so with an interesting power and a revised backstory, my love for the feral madman has reawoken, an with him, body's will trail in my wake on FighterZ.

I think Paragus' training had a huge impact on Broly's training. Remember that Sheelai read Paragus had a battle power of 4200 in base w/o it being raised.
It never grew with him It's an ear from one of the monsters on his planet that was his first friend. He said he kept it him his dad cut the ear off but he probably started wearing it when he got older and was able to wrap it around him

Guess he may have used some key components inside the floater to make it.

I always explained Broly's strength in the DBS movie by looking at how much Goku's power level increased between being a baby and Namely when he fought Frieza. He went from 2 to 3 million. That's a 1.5 million times increase, if you give that same increase to Broly starting at 10,000 and multiplying it by 1.5 million it puts his BASE form at 15 billion. 15 billion in base form otherwise known as 100 Super Saiyan Gokus on Namek. Throw in the 3 transformations he has and Broly's massive potential for learning and growth and I wouldn't find it too whack if he was God of Destruction level.
But why was he born that strong? In the millions of years of saiyan history you'd be a legend for having a power level above 20k. Gokue achieving 3 million was the stuff of legends, now this guy who's never fought anyone gets 1500 billion times stronger in 1 fight and is born as stronger than an elite warrior? It's like saying my human baby was born faster than Usain bolt but became faster than the flash after he had 1 race. I think the new Broly matches the original super sayian legend even more now than he did before. When Vegeta talks about SSJ originally, a great ape is shown. Broly is now the only sayian to officially draw power from the great ape form.

I think his strength increases not just by anger, but I also think his ki continues to rise as he fights like the original broly, permanently increasing his power overall. The anger just acts as an amplifier on top of the transformations

Not true, I think the ape form transformation gets stronger and adaptable as your base form gets stronger. It was sort of implied in GT even though it's not canon when goku ssj3 could not beat baby vegeta but golden great ape goku was able to push him back.

Golden frieza is pretty unbreakable, he survived destruction energy twice, and probably got some extra training in after TOP, which by DBS logic ridiculously boosts his powers, reason why he survived for so long imo.

Wrong. When Gogeta arrived back to the scene Broly was trying to land a hit on Whis. Seeing how fast Broly took out Goku and Vegeta in blue super sayain form I highly doubt that Golden Freiza lasted any longer on his own let alone a whole hour. Whis clearly intervened to buy the time Goku and Vegeta needed to fuse correctly. He is the guardian of a God so he must've known they needed more time. Since this takes place after the tournament of power perhaps Whis grew a soft spot for Freiza after helping Goku defeat Jiren.

I don't think Broly is the kind of fighter hat could clear his mind and achieve inner peace during a fight, which is essentially what ultra instinct is. Broly has more of a destructive type of energy, so i could see him easily learning the techniques of gods of destruction like "hakai".
Not true. The legendary super saiyan rumor was already out when they were kids. Vegeta knew about it when he was a kid, old story vegeta was a lot older than broly. New story about same age. U can't have a rumor like that if everyone was wiped out and no one could tell those stories.

Just wanna state that even though the fight lasted a while, gogeta blue was definitely holding back and even though it looked spectacular, gogeta wasn’t really given a challenge when he went blue like broly only hit him like 1 time after he went blue it was mostly gogeta dodging and dragging out the fight forever
That fight lasted exactly as long as it needed. Broly shows no sign of powering down. Before the final beat down he powers up again after just getting strong enough to flex his shirt off. The whole fight Broly is getting punched like everyone else and he looks like he just stepped out of a car wash. Broly is just shown to have a shit ton of endurance. When he finally looked damaged at the very end he look healthier than goku was when Broly was fighting him. I’m pretty sure Gogeta kept ramping it up bit by bit noticing that his current power output wasn’t gonna cut it, until final,y he had no choice but to nuke him before either their fusion ran out or Broly got stronger.
Nah gogeta was throwing all his best moves at broly and planning to finish him off right as he turn blue, he’s like the opposite of vegito because he doesn’t really hold back and get cocky, he just gets the job done.
This was a great breakdown. Personally, I look at Broly as the Superman Prime of his species. He’s the genetic pinnacle of the saiyan race. A psychopathic beast traumatized by tragedy in his early life. He does grow in might like the Hulk when angry, but Broly is a naturally intelligent, combative genius, unlike the Hulk who’s practically a gamma charged gorilla. Nonetheless, I hope they bring him back for an appearance in the next DBZ movie. I don’t know how they are goin to top the last one. Thats because of speed, not power. If i recall well, Goku himself said that "Transformations that have too big muscles are slower" and you see that Gogeta is thin, while Broly just keep getting bulking muscles with every power boost

I find it pretty simple. It's just his base level is OBSCENELY strong. If you look at it at base levels, then it makes slightly more sense. The multipliers have more to multiply. He's just an abnormally strong mortal that happens to have access to Super Saiyan shenanigans.

I suppose we can compare this with people with natural talent. Anyone can train to be a singer and can spend years of training to be really good at it but against someone who is really born with the talent, I imagine it would be a breeze for them to learn how to sing or at least they can catch up really quick.
No I disagree it actually makes complete sense if you think about it, Broly is a Saiyan prodigy which the closest thing I would say to that would be Gohan cause he was so strong and had alot of potential, but broly probably had power levels way higher than his, even as a child he had a power level greater than most Saiyan adults which is understandable, Goku is a low class Saiyan warrior and was able to get as strong as he is which is very strong Vegeta is a Saiyan elite and was able to get as strong as he is also so it's not hard to assume that a prodigy of that race meaning he has far more natural talent than them both and potential would be able to trancend those years of training they would have to do to be able to equal and surpass them eventually if broly was put through all the stuff Goku and Vegeta had to go through he would just be to strong and most importantly...cause of plot
I’m still going with my explanation of why he is so strong: Broly is so strong since he is just the perfect Saiyan, notice how throughout the fight Broly tapped into power he didn’t know he had when either from a beating from a strong opponent or from emotion. To me this meant that Broly’s Genes 🧬 like the vid said from rage pushing him further but I say also from his DNA adapting to the pain an strength of an opponent then applying this to Broly exponentially. Also I feel like Akria Toriyama wanted us to foresee how to possibly defeat Broly with the fight between Broly and Vegeta, by having to jump to a power far from what you are at right now to overpower his possible “adaptation” to your strength finishing it with a final blow killing him or he will come back and overpower you. Gogeta however is a fusion with an immense base power level, probably putting him at the power of Blue Vegeta and Goku combined as a Super Saiyan. Gogeta also had far more experience than Broly overall. If Broly had Super Saiyan for longer he might have been able to overwhelm him eventually though. Broly was basically operating entirely on animalistic instinct by the time he went Wrath. He was basically turning half Super Saiyan 4 and then he stacked Super Saiyan and the Legendary state on top. Broly with the same training Goku and Vegeta went through and God Ki. That is a scary thought.
Dylan Reed Broly just needs to learn to control his power just like kale did. If he can learn to tap into those forms whenever he needs to he certainly would give Gogeta a better run for his money. I think the only reason Gogeta was beating him so bad was because he immediately went blue after super saiyan. If he went ssj2 against legendary super Saiyan Broly he probably would have been beaten still. I can see him and Broly at the same level of power when Broly’ sin legendary super saiyan and Gogeta is in ssj3 or god. Blue is just overkill though
@@ugp0978 Yeah I personally think Gogeta took a lot after Vegeta in that regard. It was relatively even and Broly was winning after he went legendary, then blue came out and murdered him. Gogeta also had one or two more forms still if we're counting Kaioken, so even if we got to that point Broly was screwed unless he got SSJ2 or had a lot more control. To be fair though, it would not have been a good idea to hold back against someone who grows at that fast of a rate.

Broly isn't shackled to his rage to produce power. It may be the quickest way he taps into it, but you've not understood the subtlety of it. The more power he gets the more energetic he becomes. His rage doesn't dictate his level of power. His level of power adds anger, but he's able to tap into a level and type of power that's a true rarity in the universe. Beerus stated himself that all mortals draw their strength from the universe, but has no affect on him. Zamasu even stated that Goku and Vegeta didn't create the transformational energy of Blue.
They say Broly is a mutant, so my belief is that Legendary Super Saiyan is a form that uses the full potential of it's base Saiyan, causing it's host to be on verge of Oozaru AND Super Saiyan at the same time, all the time, basically like an incomplete form of Super Saiyan 4 from GT. The forms can trigger separately and passively join, leading to the many different forms Broly seems to take in the films. This would explain the massive muscle size increase and the loss of focus that comes from the form, as well as the power this man unleashes during the movie; This man is probably at Super Saiyan 4 levels for strength, without even pushing himself. On top of this, emotional stimulus is a part of a Saiyan's power, as Akira has noted multiple times with S-Cells. And Broly seems to be kind-hearted when not agitated, meaning he's passively increasing his capabilities until when he eventually does loose control next. This would explain why it's so easy for him to pull out so much power so quickly, because he, like our orange plot-armored protagonist god, has a passive personality, a rare disposition amongst the warrior race. Something else that could be adding to his strength in the films is Zenkai: Broly seems to almost relish punishment in his films, like he almost wants to tank it, and this Lengendary form, if it does in fact merge Super Saiyan and Oozaru passively, may have some accelerated healing factor, leaving to instant Zenkai boosts as he becomes more and more battle damaged, meaning fatigue, damage, concussions and pain in a fight would only serve to strengthen Broly if it didn't straight out take him out. I personally like the new Broly, so with an interesting power and a revised backstory, my love for the feral madman has reawoken, an with him, body's will trail in my wake on FighterZ.

I always explained Broly's strength in the DBS movie by looking at how much Goku's power level increased between being a baby and Namely when he fought Frieza. He went from 2 to 3 million. That's a 1.5 million times increase, if you give that same increase to Broly starting at 10,000 and multiplying it by 1.5 million it puts his BASE form at 15 billion. 15 billion in base form otherwise known as 100 Super Saiyan Gokus on Namek. Throw in the 3 transformations he has and Broly's massive potential for learning and growth and I wouldn't find it too whack if he was God of Destruction level.
But why was he born that strong? In the millions of years of saiyan history you'd be a legend for having a power level above 20k. Gokue achieving 3 million was the stuff of legends, now this guy who's never fought anyone gets 1500 billion times stronger in 1 fight and is born as stronger than an elite warrior? It's like saying my human baby was born faster than Usain bolt but became faster than the flash after he had 1 race. It's just an ass pull that writers made to make him competitive with super saiyan blue.

Not true, I think the ape form transformation gets stronger and adaptable as your base form gets stronger. It was sort of implied in GT even though it's not canon when goku ssj3 could not beat baby vegeta but golden great ape goku was able to push him back.

Wrong. When Gogeta arrived back to the scene Broly was trying to land a hit on Whis. Seeing how fast Broly took out Goku and Vegeta in blue super sayain form I highly doubt that Golden Freiza lasted any longer on his own let alone a whole hour. Whis clearly intervened to buy the time Goku and Vegeta needed to fuse correctly. He is the guardian of a God so he must've known they needed more time. Since this takes place after the tournament of power perhaps Whis grew a soft spot for Freiza after helping Goku defeat Jiren.
Joseph Luna You clearly see in the movie Frieza getting beating up during the time they were practicing fusion. The moment Broly left to fight Whis, Gogeta instant transmission in front of Frieza. So yes, he did get his ass whooped for an hour

They say Broly is a mutant, so my belief is that Legendary Super Saiyan is a form that uses the full potential of it's base Saiyan, causing it's host to be on verge of Oozaru AND Super Saiyan at the same time, all the time, basically like an incomplete form of Super Saiyan 4 from GT. The forms can trigger separately and passively join, leading to the many different forms Broly seems to take in the films. This would explain the massive muscle size increase and the loss of focus that comes from the form, as well as the power this man unleashes during the movie; This man is probably at Super Saiyan 4 levels for strength, without even pushing himself. On top of this, emotional stimulus is a part of a Saiyan's power, as Akira has noted multiple times with S-Cells. And Broly seems to be kind-hearted when not agitated, meaning he's passively increasing his capabilities until when he eventually does loose control next. This would explain why it's so easy for him to pull out so much power so quickly, because he, like our orange plot-armored protagonist god, has a passive personality, a rare disposition amongst the warrior race. Something else that could be adding to his strength in the films is Zenkai: Broly seems to almost relish punishment in his films, like he almost wants to tank it, and this Lengendary form, if it does in fact merge Super Saiyan and Oozaru passively, may have some accelerated healing factor, leaving to instant Zenkai boosts as he becomes more and more battle damaged, meaning fatigue, damage, concussions and pain in a fight would only serve to strengthen Broly if it didn't straight out take him out. I personally like the new Broly, so with an interesting power and a revised backstory, my love for the feral madman has reawoken, an with him, body's will trail in my wake on FighterZ.

Just wanna state that even though the fight lasted a while, gogeta blue was definitely holding back and even though it looked spectacular, gogeta wasn’t really given a challenge when he went blue like broly only hit him like 1 time after he went blue it was mostly gogeta dodging and dragging out the fight forever
That fight lasted exactly as long as it needed. Broly shows no sign of powering down. Before the final beat down he powers up again after just getting strong enough to flex his shirt off. The whole fight Broly is getting punched like everyone else and he looks like he just stepped out of a car wash. Broly is just shown to have a shit ton of endurance. When he finally looked damaged at the very end he look healthier than goku was when Broly was fighting him. I’m pretty sure Gogeta kept ramping it up bit by bit noticing that his current power output wasn’t gonna cut it, until final,y he had no choice but to nuke him before either their fusion ran out or Broly got stronger.
Nah gogeta was throwing all his best moves at broly and planning to finish him off right as he turn blue, he’s like the opposite of vegito because he doesn’t really hold back and get cocky, he just gets the job done.
This was a great breakdown. Personally, I look at Broly as the Superman Prime of his species. He’s the genetic pinnacle of the saiyan race. A psychopathic beast traumatized by tragedy in his early life. He does grow in might like the Hulk when angry, but Broly is a naturally intelligent, combative genius, unlike the Hulk who’s practically a gamma charged gorilla. Nonetheless, I hope they bring him back for an appearance in the next DBZ movie. I don’t know how they are goin to top the last one. They are goin to need help directly from God himself to outdo the fight in the last one cause I was like coked up Chuck Liddell in the theatre buggin the hell out from that glorious film!

No I disagree it actually makes complete sense if you think about it, Broly is a Saiyan prodigy which the closest thing I would say to that would be Gohan cause he was so strong and had alot of potential, but broly probably had power levels way higher than his, even as a child he had a power level greater than most Saiyan adults which is understandable, Goku is a low class Saiyan warrior and was able to get as strong as he is which is very strong Vegeta is a Saiyan elite and was able to get as strong as he is also so it's not hard to assume that a prodigy of that race meaning he has far more natural talent than them both and potential would be able to trancend those years of training they would have to do to be able to equal and surpass them eventually if broly was put through all the stuff Goku and Vegeta had to go through he would just be to strong and most importantly...cause of plot

I’m still going with my explanation of why he is so strong: Broly is so strong since he is just the perfect Saiyan, notice how throughout the fight Broly tapped into power he didn’t know he had when either from a beating from a strong opponent or from emotion. To me this meant that Broly’s Genes 🧬 like the vid said from rage pushing him further but I say also from his DNA adapting to the pain an strength of an opponent then applying this to Broly exponentially. Also I feel like Akria Toriyama wanted us to foresee how to possibly defeat Broly with the fight between Broly and Vegeta, by having to jump to a power far from what you are at right now to overpower his possible “adaptation” to your strength finishing it with a final blow killing him or he will come back and overpower you. Getting this from the vegeta going from ssj to ssjg being a massive jump, and then also with Gogeta ssj to Gogeta ssjb
