You can’t neglect Jiren's skill. He never tried any dirty moves in trying to attack Goku. Goku punched him in the jaw and torso multiple times to throw him off balance and was automatically evading. Jiren was quickly able to deduce whether an incoming attack could penetrate his defenses and almost infinitesimally guard/ or dodge on contact. Not to mention, he understands that the most important tools in a fight and more importantly to be able to survive are to have a sharpened mind and senses and precise reaction timing, power to be able to achieve anything, perfectly timed guarding as the ultimate defense as you can't dodge everything (e.g. run out of space/movement takes time), an unshakeable resolve to endure and overcome every challenge he faces (and to consistently challenge himself), and to not trust or rely on people for power (because at the end of the day all you have is) yourself,

Low ball Goku = 160x stronger. High Ball Goku = 8000x stronger. So, in a versus you can take both perspectives in consideration instead of just talking one perspective.

BLV KB that was frieza after tournament of power and his gold form was much stronger than when he first used it against goku and had a stamina drain. Basically meaning he was already good at using golden form. Broly also stomped him for a full hour an frieza prolly never hit him, so it’s biggger than 30%.and if broly trains for even a month he might be strongest in the series

The most simple way to explain mui's power is that the body moves on its own. Every technique the wielder uses is to be executed with the highest amount of efficency the body's instinct can allow it. The wielder will also be able to have the most efficent and controllable way of their ki subconsiously. This means that goku is tapping into a source of power he has never before tapped into outside of mui. On top of that he is subconsiously using the max multiplier of kaioken his body will allow him. And will utilize any of the most powerful and controllable transformation that will not hinder the body's performance.(gokus kaioken aura dosen't show because of how perfect his control of ki is in mui)
I seen people saying they cant wait to see goku stack kaioken on top of ultra instinct, but that doesnt make sense to me... UI is as strong and balanced he can possibly be. It doesnt make sense to be able to stack any techniques on top of that...and i dont think fusion makes sense with UI either being that fusion requires to personalities which might inevitably cause conflict in UI

To add to the argument that Ultra Instinct far exceeds the massive increase that the fusions have given Goku and Vegeta: When Kefla first appeared, and the idea of using the Potara to gain a competitive advantage in the TOP occurred to Beerus and Universe 7, Whis, immediately shot that idea down, suggesting that the massive increase that a fusion would offer, still would, NOT, be enough to avoid elimination from a field, that had already displayed only a fraction of the power that Jiren held, when he reflected the Spirit bomb with just his eyes - which Whis had assessed to be greater than a God of Destruction. The Saiyans had already used fusion against Zamasu, and Whis being an Multiversally educated guide, was already aware of what a fusion was capable of. So Whis certainly was not building U7's hopes up around fusion being the answer to overcoming the threat Jiren. But what Whis did say, was the major question that needed to be answered in order to determine whether Goku and U7 could defeat Jiren, was whether or not Goku could at the very least, tap into Ultra Instinct Omen, again - or best yet, master Ultra Instinct before the end of the tournament. Given what we saw in Heroes, I don't think there is any coincidence that we saw Ultra Instinct Goku, astronomically eclipse the scale increase, we saw from the performance of the fusions against Cumber.
@Valid Man Whis said Kefla's power 'rivaled that of the Spirit Bomb'. Not only that, but Piccolo noted that Kefla & Goku's power in UI were greater than the first time he used it against Jiren. The other thing Whis said, was that it was getting harder and harder for Goku to break his limits, to reach Ultra Instinct; which meant that each time Goku would have to be pushed even further, bc - it was explained - the body/mind can become acclimated, or used to, the same stresses and not evolve or progress as a result. In all likelihood, Kefla's power was even greater than that of the Spirit Bomb when she triggered Goku's UI.

I've been examining this for a while now and I think there is actually legitimate evidence that Goku in MUI and Jiren at his peak of power have reached 5th dimensional attack potency. Now here me out, I'm not saying that they possess any other ability or have any other aspects to them that come with being 5D entities, just that they can simply land attacks that can hurt 5D beings. To start off, I'd also like to say that the point at which Goku became 4D is when he became a Super Saiyan God. This video states that clearly with effect of shaking a Macrocosm/Universe 7 which is supposed to be a realm with 2 sub-dimensional realms and a break away mini-realm which orbits it, each with infinite 3D spaces of there own. To me the fact that Goku's Super Saiyan God form looks similar to his base(with red hair and eyes) would make sense in that he just shifted dimensional Tiers from 3rd to 4th. This is his 4th dimensional body, and that fact that he later achieves Super Saiyan Blue kind of proves this further as Goku simply explains the form is the Super Saiyan Form of a Super Saiyan God, hence the original name Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. What also points to this being a set of 4D forms is the fact that God Ki is unable to be sensed the same way regular Ki can be. That is because the 4th dimension is commonly referred to as the realm of thoughts and intentions. In Martial Arts, you need intent to manipulate Ki, but with God Ki, that intent is Ki. So in effect, these forms are powered by(and require disciplined control of) raw intentions and thought. So as we move along down the timeline of Super, Goku and Vegeta are than tasked with training to surpass their ability to think and simply act. Whis was in effect pushing Goku and Vegeta towards another dimension of power, 5D. The 5th dimension is above the 4th in the same way the 4th is to the 3D. The 5th dimension is a realm that consists of raw feeling and emotions. Feeling and emotions drive thought and intention, so tapping directly into that has the same dimensional shift associated with it and results in, UIO for Goku at first because he was still dependent on thoughts for his attacks, until reaching Mastered Ul. When in the Mastered state of Ultra Instinct, Goku again looks like his base but with minor changes(silver hair and eyes instead of red). Just like with the change to SSG, this is his 5th dimensional body. Also worth noting is that emotions are often made synonymous with imagery of water and fluid motion, hense the aura of MUI. Now the feats MUI achieves also hint at this being 5D if you look at the fact the Tournament of Power actually didn't take place in any of the Universes, it took place in a void that exists outside of the Universe. My argument here is that this realm of void is actually the space that encompasses and exists in between the different Universes, this would make it an infinite 4D realm, a multiversal realm. Which in turn makes the filling and shaking of said realm with their energy by merely existing, an infinite 4D feat, not infinite 3D. When considering that fact that Goku made a full powered Jiren (infinite 4D) seem like nothing upon achieving MUI (5D), it really just becomes obvious at that point that Goku had shifted dimensional tiers. This would also make sense for the Angels and the Grand Priest to be 5D as Whis has stated he is always in MUI, and the Grand Priest demonstrated this by casually manipulating an entire 4D realm with the wave of his hand, while no one even points out any signs of his power being the cause. He might have literally just warped reality in that scene, which I believe is a 6D feat. I might be wrong on him being 6D, he could just be infinite 5D. Anyway, this is just what I think is going on to the best of my knowledge about the dimensional tiers and what the evidence points to about how strong, as well as what MUI really is.

I think the form jiren unlocks against mui goku is a similar form to ultra instinct, but awoken in a different way. It seems to be awoken from hyper-strong emotions, like fear, hate, and despair.
In a sense it's basically the polar opposite of MUI, while Jiren's limit breaker state is completely based on his emotions, anger and hate, MUI relies on having a calm mind without any emotions (i know it's inconsistent with the "IS GONNA PAY" moment but whatever)
I was thinking about the last few episodes of the Tournament of Power, and it is stated, just before Goku turns Ultra Instinct Omen for the third time, that there were two minutes left in the tournament. This means that Goku and Jiren's second-to-last battle lasted about a minute at most. This would mean that the complete Ultra Instinct is so straining that is lasted maybe thirty seconds or less, total, before Goku was hit by the toll of the gods. This would also mean, assuming we use the same time scale as we do above, Goku's UI Omen states lasted for twenty to thirty seconds each time. This, I feel, puts into perspective how impossibly difficult it is to hold these limit-breaking forms in the Dragon Ball universe.

Belmont, the Kai of their universe and Toppo were all afraid for Jiren, even after seeing him take that spirit bomb earlier in the tournament which also supports that it was much stronger. That and Jirens face right before it hit him and he threw up his hands to block. Vegeta, in my opinion, was either stronger than that Kaioken goku, or at the very least his final flash was considerable stronger than Kaioken Blue Goku's attack based on context and its weird that I've never seen any of these DBZ and super power scalers acknowledge that

It was also weird when Vegeta did the final explosion against Toppo which severely damaged him and reduced his ki. It would of been a perfect opportunity for him to use his Gamma Burst attack which he's only used in the manga, but it was also a perfect way to knock out a person just as strong as goku but with way more stamina and ki left since goku had been through more. So I guess for the story it made sense, I would of rathered they just had Jiren beat him at least close to his best in the end, it's not like he couldn't of lol

I don't think Grand Priest was afraid for Zeno's safety. I think he was afraid for his own safety. Zeno would have probably been pissed and erased everyone if he got hit by the Spirit Bomb

The way I see it is that Cumber is so strong that an increase in strength alone (what Kaio-ken and fusion does), is not enough to take him down, and something else is needed as Jiren said "I seek what's beyond strength". Ultra instinct and whatever Jiren had should not be compared to some power up increase like fusion, rather that's something that is beyond that 😉 Also even if we do see someone stronger than an ultra instinct form, it does not immediately imply that they will beat them in a fight (like we saw in the fight between Kefla and Goku).
Joshua Chudley If you payed any attention to the prior episode or the episode where the Spirit Bomb was created’s title it was stated it was a “Killer” Spirit Bomb,not a normal one,perhaps this is also why it was created so quickly. Goku probably felt that Jiren deep down was pure of heart and that a normal Spirit Bomb wouldn’t cut it so he made one just powerful enough to throw him in the benches but not kill him as was stated by Roshi.

Junzhuo Zhong He did beat Frieza but he had no intent to kill Frieza in the first place as it was explained in the light novel. Don’t forget that from the ToP to the Broly arc Frieza got immensely stronger even surpassing Goku and Vegeta Blue. Unlike Goku and Vegeta even working together Frieza actually manages to phase Broly in battle.

That moment you realize ultra instinct is similar to the "flame and the void", or the "oneness" from the Wheel of Time, where the characters that obtain this state can react instantly.
The thing that bothers me, is Goku and Beerus's fight risked the universe. He is now fighting at far superior levels of output and there seems to be limited collateral.
Well the Beerus fight explains it, in that very battle you see Goku trying and failing to contain the collateral. Now that he actually knows how to use godly ki, he can control the collateral casually.
It’s my completely unproven opinion that Jiren’s final form is actually something totally new to him, perhaps the offensive half of Ultra Instinct; this would explain why he is able to start hitting MUI Goku after he assumes this “form”, but can’t dodge like Goku can. It would also explain why it burns him out so quickly- the same way UI Omen burned out Goku.
I'm sure Jirens Red Energy is like a false Ultra instinct created from his psychic abilities. So it's less Instinct and more psychic, but it still has a similar effect.

Actually it's useful. Not only Goku, tons of characters in fiction don't have specific feats, and for that reason it exists in the first place the concept of lowballing and highballing.
Low ball Goku = 160x stronger.
High Ball Goku = 8000x stronger.
So, in a versus you can take both perspectives in consideration instead of just talking one perspective.

The most simple way to explain mui's power is that the body moves on its own. Every technique the wielder uses is to be executed with the highest amount of efficency the body's instinct can allow it. The wielder will also be able to have the most efficent and controllable way of their ki subconsiously. This means that goku is tapping into a source of power he has never before tapped into outside of mui. On top of that he is subconsiously using the max multiplier of kaioken his body will allow him. And will utilize any of the most powerful and controllable transformation that will not hinder the body's performance.(gokus kaioken aura dosen't show because of how perfect his control of ki is in mui)

To add to the argument that Ultra Instinct far exceeds the massive increase that the fusions have given Goku and Vegeta:
When Kefla first appeared, and the idea of using the Potara to gain a competitive advantage in the TOP occurred to Beerus and Universe 7, Whis, immediately shot that idea down, suggesting that the massive increase that a fusion would offer, still would, NOT, be enough to avoid elimination from a field, that had already displayed only a fraction of the power that Jiren held, when he reflected the Spirit bomb with just his eyes - which Whis had assessed to be greater than a God of Destruction.
The Saiyans had already used fusion against Zamasu, and Whis being an Multiversally educated guide, was already aware of what a fusion was capable of. So Whis certainly was not building U7's hopes up around fusion being the answer to overcoming the threat Jiren.
But what Whis did say, was the major question that needed to be answered in order to determine whether Goku and U7 could defeat Jiren, was whether or not Goku could at the very least, tap into Ultra Instinct Omen, again - or best yet, master Ultra Instinct before the end of the tournament.
Given what we saw in Heroes, I don't think there is any coincidence that we saw Ultra Instinct Goku, astronomically eclipse the scale increase, we saw from the performance of the fusions against Cumber.

I've been examining this for a while now and I think there is actually legitimate evidence that Goku in MUI and Jiren at his peak of power have reached 5th dimensional attack potency. Now here me out, I'm not saying that they possess any other ability or have any other aspects to them that come with being 5D entities, just that they can simply land attacks that can hurt 5D beings.
To start off, I'd also like to say that the point at which Goku became 4D is when he became a Super Saiyan God. This video states that clearly with effect of shaking a Macrocosm/Universe 7 which is supposed to be a realm with 2 sub-dimensional realms and a break away mini-realm which orbits it, each with infinite 3D spaces of there own. To me the fact that Goku's Super Saiyan God form looks similar to his base(with red hair and eyes) would make sense in that he just shifted dimensional Tiers from 3rd to 4th. This is his 4th dimensional body, and that fact that he later achieves Super Saiyan Blue kind of proves this further as Goku simply explains the form is the Super Saiyan Form of a Super Saiyan God, hence the original name Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan.
What also points to this being a set of 4D forms is the fact that God Ki is unable to be sensed the same way regular Ki can be. That is because the 4th dimension is commonly referred to as the realm of thoughts and intentions. In Martial Arts, you need intent to manipulate Ki, but with God Ki, that intent is Ki. So in effect, these forms are powered by(and require disciplined control of) raw intentions and thought.
So as we move along down the timeline of Super, Goku and Vegeta are than tasked with training to surpass their ability to think and simply act. Whis was in effect pushing Goku and Vegeta towards another dimension of power, 5D. The 5th dimension is above the 4th in the same way the 4th is to the 3D. The 5th dimension is a realm that consists of raw feeling and emotions. Feeling and emotions drive thought and intention, so tapping directly into that has the same dimensional shift associated with it and results in, UIO for Goku at first because he was still dependent on thoughts for his attacks, until reaching Mastered Ul. When in the Mastered state of Ultra Instinct, Goku again looks like his base but with minor changes(silver hair and eyes instead of red). Just like with the change to SSG, this is his 5th dimensional body. Also worth noting is that emotions are often made synonymous with imagery of water and fluid motion, hense the aura of MUI.
Now the feats MUI achieves also hint at this being 5D if you look at the fact the Tournament of Power actually didn't take place in any of the Universes, it took place in a void that exists outside of the Universe. My argument here is that this realm of void is actually the space that encompasses and exists in between the different Universes, this would make it an infinite 4D realm, a multiversal realm. Which in turn makes the filling and shaking of said realm with their energy by merely existing, an infinite 4D feat, not infinite 3D.
When considering that fact that Goku made a full powered Jiren (infinite 4D) seem like nothing upon achieving MUI (5D), it really just becomes obvious at that point that Goku had shifted dimensional tiers. This would also make sense for the Angels and the Grand Priest to be 5D as Whis has stated he is always in MUI, and the Grand Priest demonstrated this by casually manipulating an entire 4D realm with the wave of his hand, while no one even points out any signs of his power being the cause. He might have literally just warped reality in that scene, which I believe is a 6D feat. I might be wrong on him being 6D, he could just be infinite 5D.
Anyway, this is just what I think is going on to the best of my knowledge about the dimensional tiers and what the evidence points to about how strong, as well as what MUI really is.

I think the form jiren unlocks against mui goku is a similar form to ultra instinct, but awoken in a different way. It seems to be awoken from hyper-strong emotions, like fear, hate, and despair.

In a sense it's basically the polar opposite of MUI, while Jiren's limit breaker state is completely based on his emotions, anger and hate, MUI relies on having a calm mind without any emotions

I was thinking about the last few episodes of the Tournament of Power, and it is stated, just before Goku turns Ultra Instinct Omen for the third time, that there were two minutes left in the tournament. This means that Goku and Jiren's second-to-last battle lasted about a minute at most. This would mean that the complete Ultra Instinct is so straining that is lasted maybe thirty seconds or less, total, before Goku was hit by the toll of the gods.
This would also mean, assuming we use the same time scale as we do above, Goku's UI Omen states lasted for twenty to thirty seconds each time. This, I feel, puts into perspective how impossibly difficult it is to hold these limit-breaking forms in the Dragon Ball universe.

Vegeta, in my opinion, was either stronger than that Kaioken goku, or at the very least his final flash was considerable stronger than Kaioken Blue Goku's attack based on context and its weird that I've never seen any of these DBZ and super power scalers acknowledge that

It was also weird when Vegeta did the final explosion against Toppo which severely damaged him and reduced his ki. It would of been a perfect opportunity for him to use his Gamma Burst attack which he's only used in the manga, but it was also a perfect way to knock out a person just as strong as goku but with way more stamina and ki left since goku had been through more. So I guess for the story it made sense, I would of rathered they just had Jiren beat him at least close to his best in the end, it's not like he couldn't of lol

The way I see it is that Cumber is so strong that an increase in strength alone (what Kaio-ken and fusion does), is not enough to take him down, and something else is needed as Jiren said "I seek what's beyond strength".
Ultra instinct and whatever Jiren had should not be compared to some power up increase like fusion, rather that's something that is beyond that 😉
Also even if we do see someone stronger than an ultra instinct form, it does not immediately imply that they will beat them in a fight (like we saw in the fight between Kefla and Goku).

Goku probably felt that Jiren deep down was pure of heart and that a normal Spirit Bomb wouldn’t cut it so he made one just powerful enough to throw him in the benches but not kill him as was stated by Roshi.

Junzhuo Zhong He did beat Frieza but he had no intent to kill Frieza in the first place as it was explained in the light novel. Don’t forget that from the ToP to the Broly arc Frieza got immensely stronger even surpassing Goku and Vegeta Blue. Unlike Goku and Vegeta even working together Frieza actually manages to phase Broly in battle.

The thing that bothers me, is Goku and Beerus's fight risked the universe. He is now fighting at far superior levels of output and there seems to be limited collateral.
Well the Beerus fight explains it, in that very battle you see Goku trying and failing to contain the collateral. Now that he actually knows how to use godly ki, he can control the collateral casually.

It’s my completely unproven opinion that Jiren’s final form is actually something totally new to him, perhaps the offensive half of Ultra Instinct; this would explain why he is able to start hitting MUI Goku after he assumes this “form”, but can’t dodge like Goku can. It would also explain why it burns him out so quickly- the same way UI Omen burned out Goku.
