Thank you for everything you provide to your followers! Honestly, your workouts have changed my life and my relationship with fitness. I always hated working out and could never stick with it. I found NML in January 2021 and never looked back. I've been doing your workouts consistently 3-4 times per week ever since. I actually look forward to my workouts and make sure I plan my schedule around them. I love how real and encouraging you both are. I started with 5lb dumbbells and could barely get through the workouts. I'm up to 15-20lbs and doing pushups from my toes (sometimes)! This is the most fit/strong I have ever been and I never would have thought I had it in me before NML. My husband has been joining in on the workouts for about a year now and it's been a great bonding experience for us. I know this was long winded but I just truly wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your content and how much of an impact it had on me!

Just found out I’m pregnant, so I will be following your 1st trimester workout plan. Thank you for all this content🙂 I have a question is it safe to lay flat on my back for chest flys I’ve always heard that it was unsafe in my first two pregnancies. As far as push-ups and planks do I need to take them from my knees in the first trimester?
Congratulations! If laying on your back is comfortable, you can continue to do so. I'd add an incline when it becomes uncomfortable. Similar for push ups - keep an eye on your core and if you notice coning/doming, add an incline!
Great workout! My arms are on fire 🔥🔥🔥 especially after that figure eight move. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it. Thank you for the great short workout. I am a mother of three - one is a 9 month old baby, so sometimes it's hard to get a long workout in. I always feel good when I am able to get in at least a short l, efficient workout. And good job on you for working out while pregnant plus doing quite heavy weight. I worked out on all three of my pregnancy as well.
This felt great. I used 8 and 10 lbs. I feel so strong after your workouts and trying everything else Can you do a video on preparing knees before lifting? My knees hurt sometimes doing lunges forward and backward
Did the active part twice and made me have a good pump 😄 it was tricky doing the kneeling push-ups at 29 weeks and not letting my belly touch the floor lol
Did this one again! I have a tip from old people like me that still have carpet in their house. Put the weight on a magazine or paper plate for the dumbbell slide. It slides perfectly that way! ❤️💪😊It barely budges on the carpet, without that.

My favorite ab move was the halo abs. My core must be super weak because I had to modify more for the other ab moves. But I loved how quick this was and how the repeats didn't seem like foreverrrrrrr.

Talking about an arm workout and sneaking in the push-ups, I'm just surprised to find a NML workout without squats! 😂 (but im pregnant, so every squat I remind myself that studies show squats reduce labor time and make labor easier!) Loved this workout, as with all of them, and, it kicked my butt, as with all of them.
Hey Lins, as far as these movements like plank later in pregnancy, what are your recommendations? I dropped to my knees because my belly was coning, but would you mind providing information as to what is safe and what might not be?
After a different arm workout from NML I picked up our milk jug and almost threw it across the kitchen! 😂 I guess the weights I was using were lighter than our milk!

Thanks so much for giving this one a try! The video came out to just over 24 minutes (with warm-up and cool down, which are an essential part of each workout!) which is why we called it a 25 minute workout!
Recommend to start with push ups from an incline, mastering 3 sets of 10 reps. Then doing push ups from your knees, mastering 3 sets of 10 reps. Follow along with our Instagram and UA-cam for a 'how to get your first push up' series coming soon!
In my Third trimester here! I liked this workout, but when we went down on our backs, I ended up lifting up into bridge to do the flies as I dont believe it's safe on my back at this point. Also, unfortunately had some coning cause I forgot to side lie to get down which is my fault but wish there was more mention of this when getting on your back. Overall, thank you for an awesome workout. Will be way more careful next time.
Just did this with my 5 yeat old who has wooden dumbells and we got the the tricep circuit and she said Holy Bananas 😂 multiple times. Love that she picked that up 😂

Way to go! Adding an incline by placing your hands on a chair or bench is another good mod for push ups!

Yes but I would recommend avoiding all exercises that cause a visible coning, or doming, in your ab muscles (across the linea alba).
