£3150 still in the UK for 32GB/1TB so absolutely no chance I would buy this over a MB Pro 16 M3 Max 38GB/1TB for £3299 (10% off on Amazon). There are many reasons, but the main ones are better speakers, haptic trackpad, nicer keyboard, higher brightness, faster, more efficient, better build quality, more ports, etc.
They will switch to Snapdragon in the next two years. Samsung competes for the same market as Apple so its realistic to think they'll make their products as similar as possible (which they already do)
Honestly, I don’t see myself going away from the Mac anytime soon. The combination of Intel’s bad hardware, and Microsoft’s Ad-ware filled OS, and the lack of proper integration with a smartphone is too much to deal with. I wish we had a a true 3rd rival to both systems cause MacOS lacks touch and Apple won’t add it because they want to keep the iPad alive.
Agreed with the rest but lack of proper integration is kinda bull. I use a Book 3 pro which integrates perfectly with my S24 and S9 tab. My wife has a Macbook Pro, a Ipad 10th gen and an Iphone 15 Pro. We are both PhDs and work on each other's research so I regularly use her stuff. Its not really different. Samsung is basically an Apple clone.
My brother tried to use one of the previous generations of the Samsung Book Pro, but as a terminal person it just doesn’t cut it. The Windows WSL is buggy and he doesn’t like to deal with Linuxes bugs with unsupported hardware. In the end he sold it and got a newer MacBook. He’d everyday complain of some Windows annoyance such as the fact Samsung has some utilities that are normally handled by Windows, but that override those and it can get buggy if you change the settings in the wrong utility and it gets mixed up with settings from the other.

Regardless, Instead of just maintaining one Account (Apple), i’d have to maintain 3 accounts (Microsoft, Google, and Samsung) to get certain features and hope to god i one of them that get hacked. I’ve seen Samsung’s integration, and while its usable, it does not come close, nor is it native. Which means ill, also, have to deal with a lot of bloatware.

You might end up such throttling you'd be better buying an i7, or i5 because the i9 will just allow to those levels anyway.
Only? Its a 4lb laptop thats 0.5" thick. What are you expecting out of such a device? It's obviously not going to be dedicated workstation or 4k gaming rig. It's a small form factor computer that is designed to be portable and adequate for tasks that aren't necessary to do from a desktop or a high performance, large laptop.

If u want to performance game on a laptop, it's going to chug battery and get hot thus underclocking cpu and GPU. If you are going to game plugged in to power, you would have a much better experience on a desktop. So, all around it makes no sense, that's why no one does it.
