    I like the mix on this album it feels more organic than a lot of metal mixes out there nowadays. It feels like the instruments have been played by humans.

      @@deecee8171 First off, nice name. Secondly, yeah I agree and thirdly I still think this stuff has depth, it's just a different kind of depth. Adrians lyrics are healing spiritually and marcus' lyrics heal a lot of traumatic pain. Just my 2c worth though hehehe

    Northlane is heaps and bounds better than any 'core coming out of bands like WCAR and ASD whom went sour after their EP's... Personally I love this shiat. Their album discoveries --- probably best metalcore album of my life. Period. This is nice and I love the screams/cleans are soothing as buddy mentioned. On point.

      Nick probably not, but the fact that this song is about someone wanting to die of old age or something equally as fucked up, and then next song is about a guy who died much younger and not actually wanting it is weirdly poetic.

      Fabio Di Giuseppe This isn't deathcore though. Tesseract's vocalist does this all the time as well and it usually suits the music. But you don't do this shit in deathcore, of course. That's another story.

    Adrians style would not of suited the direction that Northlane were headed. They are musically light years ahead of where they were for Discoveries

      Kyle Schadek yeah for sure Northlane's earlier albums were soooo much more creative an intricate then a lot of bands out at the time, they created there own style which i absolutely love. I am a huge Northlane fan, both Adrian era n now Marcus......but their musically creativity has improved n evolved from the early days n i don't think Adrian would suit the direction they were/have heading/headed

      Sounds a lot like Adrian and Northlane for me. Both Everchanger and Stillworld are tuned to G# like Discoveries, the riffs are really similar. (not saying they lack originality or any means, they are pretty tight)
