Roots dropped 2 weeks before my planned suicide my freshman year of high school. A buddy let me listen to it at lunch on his ipod and I fell in love. I listened to it on repeat for months to the point I still have the entire album memorized after a years without a full playthough. Their music saved my life and I hope it does so for anyone else out there that needs it. Your mental health struggles are not an indicator of your self worth. Healing takes time and that's okay! Just remember you are loved and you are valued.

Damn, I really can't get enough of TDWP lately, the melodies, the crunchiness of the bass, the atmospheric feeling in each song, them cleans, Mike's screams, everything feels so soothing and powerful. Never noticed Mike played guitar as well, is this new or did I just never notice?
He played the guitar before every now and then, for example on chemical or on the live version of Kansas

As a recovering addict for seven years this song hits me very deeply this band has gotten me through so many stages in my life and when I heard this one it just hit home I ended up bursting into tears and being so hurt realizing the damage I’ve done but I realized to anyone who’s been in my shoes I’m praying for you I hope you forgive yourself the way I wish I could forgive myself I know I got my problems I love you we do recover 🙏

This entire album just... hits different. It's been a very, very long time, maybe ever that i've heard an album come from such a deep dark place and with so much raw emotion. I listen to this album constantly, and I still get body chills on each track rotation.
This isn't just a band to me, these guys are my life support. They have saved my life in more ways you could possibly imagine. ❤️
This album is going to be amazing. Each single is unique and special in it's own way, and I've enjoyed each one.

I just had this same exact thought today. It's not a bad thing, but they really leaned into the emo, and it really, really works now for them! It's pretty amazing, twenty years in, to make those tweaks and changes yet still keep the feel of TDWP.

God damn. You guys really hit a groove on this album. This single is so haunting and beautiful and Jeremy I truly believe this is the best you’ve sounded vocally on any TDWP album. Mike’s lyrics and vocal delivery is also astounding as usual and the whole band just sounds so tight and in the zone. Absolutely incredible boys and I’m proud to be a longtime fan! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Ever have a band feel like they wrote a song about YOU specifically? This song is it for me…it brought me to tears, and gives me chills straight to the bone. As someone who struggles with alcohol it embodies the emotions someone can experience. “I’m a lost cause with nothing left, can’t you see that?” When I heard that line I lost it…alcoholism has a subtle way of making you comfortable with being a vacant lost cause with nothing left to offer. Even when people try reminding you that you weren’t always that person, it numbs you down and almost makes you completely OK with letting that person die. To the point where you want your friends to let it happen too.
Also I think the opening line “I hate when I get left alone, I’m sure all these calls are getting old. A short drive, just get me home. The cost is nowhere near to what I owe…”. Such a powerful lyric…any alcoholic can relate to being at your worst when you’re all alone, and having to make embarrassing calls for help or needing to borrow money just to spend it on your problem. I fucking hate how true this song is to me and others, but I’m grateful for having a song like this to feel some sort of comfort knowing I’m not actually alone. Love you guys for making this. Listen to it daily now. Good luck to anyone battling their problems with addiction! We can do this ❤️

I fell in love with TDWP when they released Dead Throne as I loved the heaviness of it, but Color Decay speaks to me on a different level. I'm currently in a state of life when every word, every note and every scream of the album just hits right in the feels, especially this song, Broken. It just expresses my feelings, brokenness and emptiness so well. As they say, I know I've got my problems.
This album so perfectly showcases the maturity and progression of this band. Jeremy is killing it and bringing incredible emotion to every track, mixes so well with Mike's screaming. I've never felt that Mike's screams felt as desperate as they do on this LP and it connects perfectly. I've listened since HTML Rulez D00d and this album, more than any before it, feels like a culmination of everything they have worked towards.
That chorus is absolutely AMAZING
This song speaks to me much . I feel this. I suffer through mental health I want to give up honestly but I know I can't. I'm a struggling drug addict I'm 4 years clean and im 105 cleans off cutting I'm trying my best . Thank you for this song

It can be so arduous and I constantly feel like I'm nothing and that I'm not worthy of love or happiness and that I have nothing to offer to anyone. Thank you TDWP for this one. ❤️

Remember growing up in the local scene seeing these guys a few times a month for years. The fact they evolve and create new but yet familiar sounds is mind blowing to me. From the crazy grindy metalcore from a couple of Ohio kids having fun to insanely talented and legendary musicians today. So good.

As a musician I understand the growth it takes to find your best formula, so I'll never be able to discount the work that brought them here... I was truly jaded to a lot of bands following the rise of all the metalcore, post hardcore, post metal, and anything in the 2000's-2015, and it was almost overflowing with new acts and it got difficult to keep up with as many bands as I got older, mainly due to other life situations... But out of nowhere, at a time I dealt with addiction at my absolute lowest and in self delete mode, "Broken" just came on auto play one day and it helped me admit I was going to die if I didn't change. I'm seeing you guys the 15th so thank you here if I don't get to in person.
