Cruise control light flashing fix

- When my Cruise control light started flashing, I figured out that it would only happen when I had the cruise control on and when I tapped the brakes. It was intermittent at first, but began to be more consistent. I then checked with the Google mechanics. They all said to check for a blown fuse OR the Stop lamp switch may be faulty. Well, the fuses were fine. Thus, I decided to finance the price of the stop lamp switch from my local Toyota dealer. :) As you can see... Easy replacement; no tools needed. BTW; I have a 2005 Tacoma AT with approximately 145.000 miles.
Break light fuse was my issue. Driver door fuse box
not mine had a wheel sensor go out
which wheel was the sensor on?
@@christophermize6888 passenger rear seems to get dirty the worse just leaned it, carb cleaner and used compressed air in port. all fine

Did the brake lights still work? My 06 rav4 cruise isn't working and has the flashing cruise light. Wondering if it might be the switch, tho the brake lights work fine.
Yes. The brake lights and the tail lights worked.

@@michaeld.7309 I faced the same problem and brake light worked . Still replace it when it still working to fix the Cruise control blink ?
Wendell, did you end up fixing the issue? My 2002 Rav4 has the same problem. I tried replacing the brake light switch, but it did not fix the issue.
@@sibp901 no, still no cruise control. Also tried replacing abs sensors. No happy joy time
what´s my my problem?? Think it gave more opertunities...
