even after close to 30 years, the countach of those years, in my personal opinion,is the most impressive beautiful, sexy car of all times. It even surpass what Lamborghini is doing today.
When I was a kid, nothing was more beautiful than that Lambo pulling away from the cop car and speeding down the road. The first film did it better but this is great too!

god i miss the 80s...im 35 soon..this was before tuner cars....this was an amazing part of car history...seems like anyone now can get after market parts and if they have enough money they can make thier cars fast...even if its a ford pinto.. now if i was rich hell id just go to italy and come back with a smile on my face and a hole in my pocket, and an awesome car:)

As someone who has driven the Contach, Diablo, Murcielago, Gallardo, and Aventador I can tell you the experience is one you will NEVER forget. However, there is a marked difference from when Audi took over the engineering. Prior, those Lambo's were actively NUTS and trying to kill you if you stopped thinking for even a second. After Audi came on board, the cars are still insane to drive, but they don't try to kill you at every turn.

While the two old ladies laugh, one gets out, spray paints more 0's on the closest speed limit sign and take off.
It was a 1986 lambo. The 1 st body style of that era. There was no lp-500. It was just a countach. And it was made with a v-12 9 speed transmission but had to convert to USA on a 6

When I was in my early 20's we played that game, we got ahold of a 72 Corvette with NO tags and would run the Pa state troopers on interstate 70 w from Washington Pa over the West Virginia line. And return via the backroads. Until the Pa state troopers got smart and coordinated with the WVA state police. After that it wasn't fun anymore. We didn't get caught but came very close. Now days I play a game of disappointing the police. We take high performance vehicles and drive the speed limit. The look on a Virginia State Troopers face when he realizes that he isn't going to pull you over is priceless. Because on Interstate 66 west they sit WITH the expectation of getting some high roller, but as we carefully drive by...... the smile fades away nicely.
When I was a boy, this film, and the first Cannonball Run film, immortalised the Countach in my mind. Those two women also had an effect me.
