Hey thanks for video, I noticed your foil didnt stick to other artwork, mine stuck to my htv vinyl, i had to turn it into a mosiac to salvage it, didnt think foil stuck to htv. I just wonder how it will wash.
Hello, Did you cold peel your foil and did you use a protective cover sheet? This could have also happened if you are using an iron and not a heat press. TRW, Grant
Hey thanks for reply, Yes using cover sheet & heat pressing over whole design peeling cold( but now cut parchment where i dont want foil ) I didnt try glitter though. Just shocked me when your foil didnt stick. Thanks.
Hey Lisa, I have a customer who just wants to purchase a HTV logo I made but wants to put it on herself. after cutting and weeding the logo how can I protect the sticky part of the htv clear sheet in transport? Wax paper?
Adobe illustrator will be able to work with Silhouette Connect which can act as an export software to allow Adobe illustrator to connect with your Silhouette Cutter. Although, Adobe does not have any rhinestone tools, so making rhinestone designs may be difficult, but if you are just working with vinyl, then Adobe will work fine for you. If you are looking to do rhinestone designs, then you can look into either Silhouette Designer or Business Edition which are able to make rhinestone designs. TRW Kaitlin
thank you much. im going with the sillouette. and i didnt realize it came with its own design studio so i will more than likely use that or both that and adobe.
It's ok to put the adhesive on top of the glitter? I glitter doesn't stick to glitter vinyl but does the adhesive to glitter? thanks. I'm going to order some adhesive.
Theresa, You will notice the adhesive is not actually pressing onto the glitter but rather really close to the glitter. Very few things will stick to Glitter heat transfer vinyl. TRW Casey

Hi I was just wondering if you could layer easyweed htv on top of the trw foil afterwards. I tried to layer the foil on top of easyweed but it stuck to it. Please help!!
Corina, Yes, you can layer HTV and Foil as long as you press the foil first. However, when pressing the foil a second time in order to apply the HTV, it will dull the foil and take some of the shine away. TRW Kaitlin
I keep having trouble with my foil. Can I not add foil after I've tacked down regular HTV? the foil keeps sticking to my regular HTV after the final press.
Hey Kayla, You are correct that the foil does stick to EasyWeed HTV. You may need to trim the foil down a little bit or do your foil first and then HTV. We know people that do it both ways. TRW Nick

Why did you do a hot press twice prior to the foil? And how did you prevent the foil from going all over the shirt that you use the glitter on?

The foil won't stick to anything other than the Siser Easyweed Adhesive.
