what are the settings for the graphtec ce6000-60 for cad-cut adhesive ( force, speed and offset )
Which Heat press are you using
I love the cad cut material... I have been away from my cricut for sometime.. would you mind telling me what setting I would cut on. I tried adhesive but it was too deep. Thank you.. also is there a newer product similar to the cad cut to use with foil. I love the distressed look
between this and Siser EasyWeed Foil, whats the difference? (other than the 2 step application)

Yes it will work on paper too. Make sure you print it with laser printer on printer then put foil on it and heat it again with laminator or home press

Hi. Is there any reason why you can't just cut the design out of the foil vinyl, weed it then heat press it?... instead of using the adhesive before?
Why can't I just use a metallic vinyl (gold) instead of doing this two-step process with the foil?
because the foil doesn't have adhesive to stick to shirt
Instead take a print of your text on a sheet for pic transfer. Its easily available in market n online too and is cheap. Make sure print is with laser printer and not colour. Any colour print will do. Laser printer makes a layer when when used with foil and heated will get sticky and foil colour prints on printed area only

Do you notice the foil flaking off after pressing? I find bits and pieces all over like bits of glitter.

You can't sublimate to cotton
The only problem is what happens to the foil when you wash the t shirt?
+adrienne gellman Yes foil is not abrasion friendly, but it is a specialty material. If laundered as described you can extend the length of time the foil looks good.

He says "Wash and hang dry the t shirt.Dont put it in the dryer." I'll try this but I'm betting that the foil wont last on there forever even if I wash it this way.
+adrienne gellman You are correct, foil not matter how it is applied, will not last forever. Foil is a specialty item and does not take the abrasion as well as other materials. However, if laundered as described, you can extend the length of time the foil will look good.
What they done tell you is that of it just messes up a little that's a shirt down the drain the glue isnt all comming off . The directions an trouble shooting are very poor.
They don't tell you a temp in the instructions or video then he says tack it down for a few seconds .I found you definely have to hot peel but if the glue doesn't stick right in one spot waste shirt. I wish I never bought none of the foil glue adhesive head ache
