I think tempeh is so much better after being boiled for just a few minutes, and then added. It takes away all of the bitterness.

Amazing that you knocked this out in 5 minutes! Well done!
Couple of things I would say:
    1) Onions! Maybe you didn't include them because it would add to the time too much, but this kind of curry really should have a decent onion base. Half an onion, chopped roughly, fried till just before caramelised or sweated.
    2) Garlic!! HOW DID YOU NOT PUT GARLIC IN THERE?!?!?!
    3) You'll help yourself a lot by adding a little water to your ground spice blend to make a paste. Helps stop it from burning when you put it in the pan.
Other than that, super impressed. I'm not vegan but I'm all about increasing my veg intake, may well give this a try :)

You could have added a beetroot juice to give it the red colour that rogan josh has :D But I'd cook it longer to give flavours a chance to develop, in Indian cooking you finish nothing in 5 minutes.

ROGAN JOSH - A staple food in Jammu and Kashmir, India. My brain after reading your comment is thinking why people comment if they don't know shit about things. ROGAN means OIL and JOSH means HEAT. Also, my brain when the outsiders cook and eat rogan josh with ONION, TOMOTOES and other Stuff. Get some knowledge my friend. This video is any way wrong since it's using ingredients other than OIL and meat or vegan meat or potatoes (in some parts of jammu and kashmir). But you are wrong as well big time.

The origin of Rogan Josh is Persian (famous signature lamb dish in Kashmiri kitchen) and it means oil heating very hot…I have heard that the name describes how oil actually separates from the sauce when cooking it long time. I’m just curious what inspired you to call this 5 min vegan carry as ‘Rogan Josh’? 🤔

I’ll be honest guys I’m not sure teriyaki tempeh is right as a side dish to an Indian curry - a fusion too far in my opinion. I think tempeh that’s been marinaded in salt and ground turmeric would’ve been a slightly better fit. Love the idea of teriyaki tempeh, but maybe not right for rogan josh 🙂

This looks tasty and I'm trying to swap out meat recipes for more vegetarian/vegan options. I'm just confused about why you call this Rogan Josh? The choice of vegetables, the lack of onions, the maple teriyaki tempeh... The flavor profile is confusing to me. I'm going to continue looking for a rogan rosh that has the flavors I'm looking for. It looks great, but I suggest being more accurate with your titles.
