My hate raged for Malfurion whose ignorance and short sightedness and Tyrande's failure of her duty due to her love of that fool which resulted in the situation that ended Ysera.
Malfurion had planned everything! He now only needs to get rid of Cenarius. THE SITH LORD SHALL RULE THE DREAM
This is why Night Elves are the worst race in WoW. So much of the bad shit that has happened in this game has happened because of them. They wound up and some how create a whole fucking nightmare realm whilst trying to create a dream realm, they end up creating a curse that destroys an entire kingdom and they do little to nothing to help said kingdom, and now they've essentially killed off a beloved dragon aspect because of their own stupidity and selfishness. I find it hard to believe that Blizzard still wants us to think night elves are good people. I'm honestly under the impression that they're worse than the death knights.

Aj9Livess The Old Gods are clever, really. They corrupted Neltharion, thus changing the Aspects' destiny: by making Deathwing cause the Hour of Twilight, they ensured that the Aspects would loose their powers and immortality with minimal losses on their side.
@@IAmTheConeGuy No, they were given their powers by the titans so they could defend Azeroth from the Legion and the Old Gods. Neltharion was corrupted by one of the Old Gods into thinking that the creation of the Dragon Soul would help the aspects even more, but only made him go mad for power, and as a result he took a good chunk of the other aspects powers along with it.
Every dragon aspect has to do hard work, then there's Ysera who just sleeps all the god damn time.

Gengetsu the Puckish Angel shadowform doesnt have variations nor history, it also cant be linked to anything
+Xenovia to be fair, priests in WoW and Anduin in WoW got shadowform, so i guess nobbel can do something about it

Well, with the new Karazhan stuff happening all around HS/WoW, it's a good timing to make more Karalore.
Another overpowered Hearthstone card that I don't have. Every time the opponent draws that card, I'm guarantied to lose. But as for the character Ysera, I almost cried the first time I watched that cinematic. One of the kindest and sweetest dragons of all time corrupted to the point that the only way to stop her was to kill her. I took great pleasure in ending Xavius, even if it was only on LFR.
Now the she can dream forever. Rest in peace dear friend.
Ysera isn't very good.
I still call bullshit that the only way to save her was to kill her. Elune has cleansed mortals of the corruption of the Nightmare: Ilius Illwhisper and Eranikus in particular. It's a load of crap.

Very impressive summary of the story behind Ysera Nobbel! I was unsure weather it was possible to tell her tale in only 8 minutes when I started watching the video, but you did it very well :)

It seems like the Dragon Aspects can't go five feet anywhere without everything going to shit immediately.

I always liked the Trolls in Warcraft...

Really hope they add the Revantusk Trolls as a sub-race customization so people can other Trolls than Jungle Trolls.

I would really like to see an explanation for shaman's spirit wolves. I love the ability, in wow and in hearthstone, but as conduits to the elements, how does that translate into turning into a wolf and summoning them?
So, players have killed Malygos, Nozdormu/Moruzond, Neltharian, and now Ysera... when do we kill Alextraza?

Hi Nobbel. First i would like to thank you for your lore videos, they are very interesting.
But there is something i misunderstand in the lore of wow : what are the relation between Old Gods and the Legion? Old Gods seemed to be against the Legion since they want tokeep azeroth for themselves (example of the lich king corrupted by yogg saron) but do the Legion knows about the existence of the old gods? Do they ever thought about fighting them? Thanks for your answers !
So even though Ysera lost her immortality because she is not an aspect anymore she is still technically immortal because of the emerald dream.
Ish? I hypothesize that being connected to the Emerald Dream is like being connected to the twisting nether like demons. YOur physical body is destroyed but your spirit sort of resides within the dream. Just like when Cenarius died but we brought him and the other Wild gods back. If you look at the picture where all the different forces are then you'll see how the Burning Legion is next to Chaos, while Nature and the Emerald Dream are next to Order. Exact opposites of each other.

The demons are bound to the twisting nether, just like the wild gods are bound to the dream. Did Freya bind Ysera to the dream? If she's bound to it then yeah she can come back but if not, it may take Freya pleading to the titans to bring her back :/ man I hated Xavius but that...that broke me >.
Demonkisser Freya did bind her to the Emerald Dream since she was the dragon aspect that watched over it. It would have to be just Freya to bring her back because as far as we know the Titans are dead.

Haven't played hearthstone in such a long time but Ysera was one of the first legendary cards I got. (I haven't played all of WoD so I haven't even bought Legion) she's one of my favorite Dragon Aspects even if she's kind of "boring".
Talk about Nozdormu, i don't know what happened with all this time travel bs and it would be nice that you explain it all

You never kill Cenarious though and Elune already claimed Ysera for herself so I doubt she would allow that.

TheFomkin Right but I said you never kill him. In the raid we never kill him. Most players never played Warcraft so they do not know about its lore and the way Blizz changes things from Warcraft to WoW you can not expect them to still hold that as canon.

We already do, every time we die in game :) And Death Knights have a quest where they go to the Shadow lands to get their mount.

What happened to the blue dragons after the defeat of Malygos?
I only saw them in the cataclysm

i loved to hunt those rare dragons
The total population of dragons have become quite small. Most probably turned back to their lairs and try not to die and are trying to reproduce. The blue ones are (again) pretty much close to extinction (after WotL). The green ones should be too quite decimated at least after Legion. While black one is pretty much extinct. You have Wrathion and maybe a few more who are still alive but as dragon flight they are gone. Wrathion is workingto restore it. Only the red and the bronze one have probably a stabile number of "members".
The Story of Deathwing would be nice.
So far 4/5 of the aspects have gone mad or were corrupted and we killed them.... Alexstraza better watch her back

hey so can somebody remind me? Who was leading the horde during the time the red dragon flight was enslaved? Was it ogrim or was someone else in charge? I'm not going to be so naive as to question whether or not ogrim ordered it or not since the horde was fighting for survival with a dead or dying home to escape from, but im pretty sure Thrall respected him so im not quite certain what to believe. pretty sure blackhand was dead by this point wasnt he?
It was Ogrim Doomhammer. Thrall has a tendency to admire persons who would be theoreticaly warcriminals.

Im not sure if he was the one to smash the eggs but he was in charge of the Horde. He was the one to make te pact with Deathwing if im correct.

like i said i wouldnt put it past ogrim to do whatever it took to protect the horde, hell hes the one that allowed death knights to be a thing, just trying to figure out how much pre-thrall horde cruelty was ogrims.
IMO, ogrim was prolly the middle ground between black hand and thrall in terms of good and evil.

Can it be that, similarly to demons, green dragons, or ysera alone, can not be killed outside the dream?
I was thinking something similar like just as great demons must die in the nether great creatures of the dream MUST die in the dream itself or their spirit will eventually make its way there.

No as the Aspects didn't make the elves immortal it was the well of eternity, which was actually the life energies of Azeroth herself.
Dan Palmer It let night elves live really long but what kept them immortal was Nozdoumu's enchant on the world tree.
