This is the second video that you've made where you can't find that app won't you zoom in on it so people can see what it looks like. There's one on there that's similar to it but it's a knockoff it isn't the SPD it some other thing password manager looks just like it.

Figure this post need a more update comment saying if it works. Guys it does I watch multiple videos of opening DVR up and resetting, with paper clip my DVR didn’t have it but this method works but must download app through Microsoft. Any Apple device won’t let you download it. I have the Zosi H.264
Some DVRs have the reset button and some don’t, just like the Zozi one. In this case you need to use the App to reset it. The App works with Android devices, if it’s crucial to reset the DVR just borrow a phone or tablet with Android. Sometimes things are not exactly the way we expect but at least you have this option to get the job done. I recommend put some effort on this task, get an Android from a friend, reset the DVR and solve the problem.
i downloaded SPD apd for android and it did not work after generatiing a super-password twice and manually entering the password into the app. also by using the scanning feature in the app but as of late this evening it did not work thus far... can you help me further

Hello my DVR wont let me go to the main menu. It ask me for a password.i put the admin in but it tells me (ueser/password not valid).and the same when i put my ueser & password in.my electric whent off. the above happend when the divice came back on.

I just got a Zosi Dvr with four cameras. If I do not plan to use 'the cloud' ... or 'my phone'... to access my cameras, can I operate them WITHOUT downloading apps?
I ask because I thought the direct line from camera to dvr was supposed to be the safest... because someone would have to be on site, to 'hack into the camera system'... right?
CCTV is supposed to be a 'closed circuit' right? lol So I wonder why we have to download apps and 'register' our 'system'.... and who are we 'registering' to... exactly?
I admit I am not savy. But I just want to use my system 'off grid'... 'under the radar'... or in plain speak, simply privately at home, to monitor who or what comes into my yard and onto my porch or near an entrance point.
Is the registration and apps necessary to set up my password? Because, yes, I would like it password protected so others can't alter the settings.
Weird things are going on in the world... cyber espionage and all that... so exposing the system to someone's 'software' which might have 'embedded tracking or other stuff... seems to defeat the purpose of having a closed circuit.... so can we monitor and record, without apps and registrations?

Every camera has a different default password or method to reset it. There are hundreds of brands and I don’t have all of all them in my lab, so I suggest you to talk to the seller or camera manufacturer support team according to you brand.

That app requires access and ends up selling your info and contacts, and there's no way to unsubscribe from their constant add campaign. Don't waste your time

Try putting in the wrong password when it says that it's the wrong password. Then hit right click left click right click left click right click left click a bunch of times then you should be able to do it.
