ya ive been having problems with these newer camera models I have video loss every time from a few weeks to a few months inferred works video does not howver the older models i got before work fine and are durable
I have this DVR which arrived earlier today. I've already found loads of problems. I often get "Failed to play. maybe no data or no disk" when I know there are recordings. The playback screen often freezes even though the progress bar moves along
It's because nothing is getting saved to your disk. The playback screen freezes because it searching for something to play back. Either it's to far ahead time wise or as i said nothing is getting recorded. It will say that if you are trying to view a cam that isn't set to record but the other three are. You need to go to the settings and find disk management and see what it says. Is there space available? Id format and try again. It only plays back till about five before the time you are viewing it live.
I have a zosi system, model ZR08DA/OO and it did not completely boot to the main menu. Instead, it hang at the ZOSI technology screen forever. Can you help me/show me how to update it with a new firmware?

A wired mouse should not need a driver in this day and age. You are using the wrong port or the port is f*cked if you tried two mice and neither works. I've used a logitech wireless mouse, a logitech keyboard/mouse wireless combo (though only the mousepad works) a bome (some Chinese generic ebay shit for 10$) wireless keyboard mouse combo, a wireless mouse from the dollar store, an apple wired mouse and the mouse it came with and they all worked
Yeah, I hated mouse that came with the system too. Very hard to control to be useful in any way. I had a Lenovo usb mouse laying around, and have had no problems with it working. It seems to move very slowly, compared to the one that came with it though. And no drivers needed for it to work, but no fine tuning of mouse settings can be done either. Gonna try a few other mouses I have and see which I like best.
HELP... I bought a zosi 8ch DVR with 4 camera's which work but had 4 swann pro735 cam why won't you swann cam show a pic on monitor they say vid. loss on swanns
If having trouble viewing from phone you downloaded the wrong app you need to take a pic of code iOS or Android and download that specific ZOSI app and than log in everything works

Sounds like your hard drive is overheating. Does the unit have proper ventilation. Can you hear the fans and/or the disk spinning. With your ear a few inches away you should hear the fan and the hard drive spinning. With your hand on the unit you should feel the disk vibrating/spinning. The top of the unit should be cool to the touch and under neath slightly warm. If it is hot then i think you over heating and the hard drive is shutting down to avoid damage. Are you comfortable with opening up the unit? Is there someone you know that is computer savvy. You may need to test the hard drive or try another one and see. If it is still under warranty i would return it asap. Gluck and if you need to ask me anything. Just pm me
My zosi system started to do the exact same thing, I have had it about a year, no harddrive and it still does this, the fans work fine. I have 2 of the same dvr’s and they both do it connected to the same cameras, I’m thinking it may be the cameras. I going to buy a different system soon.
hook my unit worked great then if flashed a meeage that somebody tring to log in at different lacatin now im complet6ely locked no passwords or anything i set up is gone+

hahaha your DVR is off Sr .. unbelievable if you don't know what you doing don't do it...and you not going to be able to see anything if you don't open your ports in your router ..wow read the manual..
Actually it does...the manual advise about port 80 need to be open in order to be able to watch your Cameras online...some cables companies they block this Port so you have to pay them to get it open..but is really easy ,,so easy you can do it yourself...if you need any help just let me know..

Because you need to set the resolution. If one set is 720 and the 1080 they need to be set up properly in the dvr
does this connect to wifi? I don't have a router just a modem ..will that work? i did not see that anywhere
If you have just a modem then you don't have wifi.

Best advice i can give is check you have proper ventilation. Open the cover and run it without the lid and see if the problem persists. Good luck

The remote logon and the unit logon are not the same. You have to set them both separately
