@@RobinDrones absolutely! I’d say especially for commercial real estate and for residential as long as you keep it slow and steady would be a really cool drone to use for interiors. Or interiors + exterior in combination. Also bought a refurb mini 3 and it works like new. Congratulations on the new drone!

Thanks I'm still flying my Avata it's the most fun flying drone I own! I crashed it in a wet muddy field the other day and took it all apart to clean it. It's such a strong drone more so than the newer version from what I've seen on UA-cam.
So no damage was done.
I do need some more practice flying manual before I attempt a down the mountain flight!
The sofa was from DFS we bought it during covid lockdown when everything was out of stock, had to wait like over 6 months to get it delivered!

I can't wait to get mine, I got the refurbished one same as yours, it's on its way right now from DJI. I already own the bigger heavy DJI FPV drone, it's crazy but scary fast in sports and manuel mode and so heavy to carry around so I thought the Avata was a great option for the price, yes I heard the new Avata 2 isn't as strong, great price for the avata 1 with the Integra goggles and the motion controller 2. Thanks for letting me know about your sofa, just told my wife it was from DFS, she's just having a look on DFS now. Keep up the great videos, been subscribed to your channel for over a year now.

Thanks I will try, just need the weather to improve! I was filming that footage near watership down in Berkshire/Hampshire. And the part with the red kite was in Didcot 👍

Yes, it's so fun to just fly low and fast! The refurbished from Dji is spot on its like its brand new, not a scratch or mark on it. Also had a battery with 0 cycles on it. So it must be a new battery unless they have removed the cycles on it 🤔
I'd definitely buy another refurb, It comes with a normal years warranty, and you can still get dji care refresh 😀
I'm off on holiday to Norfolk in 2 weeks. Hopefully, we'll get some good weather to fly 👍

My refurb was spot on it even had a new battery.
@@RobinDrones I hope your wife feels the same way Robin us boys and our toys haha but to be honest for the money you can’t beat it I may pay for the refresh I have flown the Mini 3 so I will have to do a video to send to them so they can see there’s been no damage caused to purchase the refresh.I tried the FPV with a fly woo drone and goggles controller but couldn’t grasp it I believe the DJI system for FPV is so much easier I look forward to your videos on the Avata.

Yes, i was worried about motion sickness. But I've been ok so far. The avata is so fun to fly. I need to find a mountain to fly down and probably crash! 🫣

It's surprising how expensive Dji drones are selling really cheap on eBay, and wouldn't you be better off buying the Dji Mini 4 Pro and getting the motion control and goggles. I flew fpv for about 20 years, and only the past 7 years have been flying gps drones. Quite confusing on your choices off drones you have on your channel. Unfortunately, it's not the videos I see much off anymore of that type of drone.
I ended up getting the avata as it was a bargain price, i been wanting to try fpv for a while. So i was originally going to get the dji goggles and buy a 5 inch but that would have been so much more money. As for the mini 4 pro i still think that its too much money don't get me wrong its still probably the best sub 250g you can buy. But if i got that it would be more of the same as what i currently have-better image quality but I'm actually happy with the mini 2 se and the Atom.
I like the fact that the Avata is so rugged and you can fly it like a gps drone and fly it indoors when the UK weather is bad :)
Good video mate I bought the same package myself when DJI dropped the price a few weeks back, only flown it with the motion controller at the moment so I need to order the manual controller and get some proper fpv done

Its a great drone to fly isn't it? so much fun! When you get the fpv controller i recommend downloading uncrashed on your pc to get some practice.
Also its good idea to get the acofc certificate then we can fly anywhere:) just not over people or have you got one all ready?
I used uav hub and watched their nearly 200 videos! Its free, then you pay £100 to be able to do the mock test however many times you want, then do your actual exam online.
It took me around a week from watching the first lesson to pasing the exam.
@@RobinDrones cheers did you not use the simulator through the goggles with the controller? that’s what I intend to do. I’ve just ordered the controller from Amazon.
Yes, I tried the goggles sim,but there was only 1 map, and the quality of it wasn't that great. Plus, I couldn't stop the goggles from charging my phone while attached, which made the goggles battery very warm.
