This is a game that had a lot of care put into it. The character models and stages look great and accurate to shows they come from despite some of them not having their original voices especially Nolan North voicing Aku, Mojojojo, K'nuckles, Scotsman etc. But juat not very good game programming with a bucket list of problems. A handful of characters don't have their original actors in this (and according to Candi Milo, she was never approached to play Dexter) but as shitty as this game is, it got more of them back than the original. portable version of the game (which didn't have Blossums VA for example as well, among others this game got back).
The powderpuff girls are top tier because the have an infinite with a ice freeze attack. Also number one is voiced by JoJo's bizzare adventure part 2's English dub of Joseph.
Man I was really hoping this game would turn out good. I didn't have a reason to think so. I had no stake to claim in it. It just would have been kinda cool.
The hit detection is weird, the controls don't respond fast enough, the frame rate varies, animations are inconsistent and impossible to read, the system is broken, the sound effects are generic, the voice is poorly compressed.. the stages and inclusions are kind of cool.

I actually have this game (a friend of mine gave it to me for reasons I still wonder why). The game is really that badly done (for context, this game came out the same exact day as UMVC3 did, November 15, 2011)

We definitely did get it (but not Cartoon Network; I don't remember what network it was on) because I remember hating it.
The powderpuff girls are top tier because the have an infinite with a ice freeze attack. Also number one is voiced by JoJo's bizzare adventure part 2's English dub of Joseph.

The hit detection is weird, the controls don't respond fast enough, the frame rate varies, animations are inconsistent and impossible to read, the system is broken, the sound effects are generic, the voice is poorly compressed.. the stages and inclusions are kind of cool.

I dunno, I think this looks okay for a PS2 game and 30 FPS isn't ideal but understandable given the console it's running on.

I feel like they must be emulating the game from all of the messed up 2D sprites all over the place and the jacked up audio. And then Matt hinting that it might be something with their setup. Unless this game is really this garbage though.
I actually have this game (a friend of mine gave it to me for reasons I still wonder why). The game is really that badly done (for context, this game came out the same exact day as UMVC3 did, November 15, 2011)
The fact that this game resides at the relative top of the barrel scares me in a way I have never felt before. Knowing that we have yet to even come close to feeling the true extent of the scrubiness Woolie and his Misfit Elves are capable of. There is no feasible end in sight. Only the scrub.
