Did you cure your foot ? ( I remember that you mentioned about your metatarsalgia in some old vid.) I Had this on my right foot since 1 month and feel terrible now. It feels like sharp pebble beetwen first (big toe ) and second toe. I have trainned my calfs too often i think. I wonder if I can go barefoot again. Is this things curable. I'm 41, not overweighted, had never problems with feet until now. However i got tight right hamstring and calf but working on that almost everyday. Great video and thank you so much for your work! Greetings from Poland.

I greatly appreciate the information on this video. For now I am overwhelmed but am truly positive that I will eventually recover. I am only recently receiving laser therapy and a podiatrist says I have Morton’s. I am glad to see the soft upper shoe one. I wear very squishy flip flops with small arch pad but it pushes on that space between big toe and next toe. A chiropractor recommended the yoga toe separators. Lately I have flaying out all those left foot toes. She also says I need to strengthen ham strings, etc. I was given prescription orthotics many years ago….and my feet healed. I have high arches. I am going to listen often to this video until I fully get clear about my needs. Thk you thk you.

So what happens to feet that were subjected to falanga in a child under 10 that wasn’t treated for 40 years. Other than that person losing their mobility and being in constant severe pain? Is there relief from the pain? I reckon since the whole sole hurts there’s a whole lot wrong.

You have described my symptoms to a T for Mortons. This problem is only on the left foot as of now, can it happen to the other foot over time?
Wondering about sizing on the Ortho shoes, do I go up a half size to allow for the insert or order exact size? Also, appears to be a bunion forming on the problem foot. Any help is appreciated. Thank You

I’m not a doctor, to be clear. I’m not in a big city that has a lot of high end care and quality care. But we do have a few places that offer free testing to help with finding the best fitting shoes and inserts according to your problem areas and your gait. I feel like if they have this kind of help in my location, they must have it in most places.

Sadly or maybe not sadly? I don't have pain on the bottom of the foot. I have stabbing pain between the 3rd and 4th toes in the metatarsals on top of the foot and a little further back towards the ankle. I can't seem to find anyone who talks about pain just on top of the foot, not on the ball or arch. No redness, no swelling. Soreness when pressed, but when standing it feels like someone is impaling the metatarsals.

For sure 25lbs would make a huge difference long term, but it can take a few months to lose a significant amount of weight, shoes and insoles are almost a 1 day solution and improvement, and then later get that weight loss in as well! We appreciate you watching! 😊❤🙏

I have this too, I think, hurt so much, thought I might have a stress fracture, x-ray did not show, so getting referral to the Podiatrist. But got some relief wearing a sandal which does not compress the toes at all, icing the foot a few times a day both bottom and on top of the meditarsals, and making sure I am eating steamed kale and other beet greens, 3 times a day, which I put in my salads or eat as is once steamed, with Apple Cider Vinegar. I am 71, and take turmeric capsules, went from taking one capsule at breakfast to 2 capsules breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime. I also take magnesium and potassium now twice a day, as it helps to keep blood pressure down, so that is breakfast and bedtime as it also helps to sleep and stay asleep. If I am in pain, my BP goes up even when I am eating right but found that red grapefruit and its juice, controls both blood pressure and my cholesterol.
My doctor is amazed at my health. I got the meditarsal pain walking 5 miles a day. With the above supplements, also switched to low sodium soy sauce as I basically eat Chinese or Japanese food frequently as I went vegan 10 years ago. So too much sodium, I use then Morton’s Lite Salt which is potassium/chloride vs. sodium/chloride which is our normal table salt. My foot was swollen, and reducing sodium as well as icing my foot makes it feel much better. If you can ice your foot at work when you do your desk work or at lunch time too, and when you get home. If you can elevate your foot at work also will help you. I do have a cane and when the foot is sore, this helps quite a bit too. If it is one foot only, measuring that the swelling is going down to the circumference of the normal foot, measured at the ball of the foot across the meditarsals, it gives me hope as I see the swelling going down.
Epson salts is another way to get relief in soaking your foot as it is magnesium and will help the foot to relax and reduces swelling. Do not make too hot.
Blood circulation: don’t cross your legs or feet. I hope it is only in one foot. Best wishes to you.
