  • The plaintiff says he has a troubled past of drugs and jail, but all that changed when his son was born. After a one-night stand with the defendant, she told the plaintiff she was pregnant and dropped their son off at the plaintiff’s house and never came back. Their son was born with a physical disability, and the plaintiff is suing the defendant for their son’s medical bills as well as emotional distress. The defendant claims she suffered postpartum depression after their child was born, and she believed the boy would have a better life with the plaintiff.

Why did she start talking about the 12-year-old when it is not his child, and he has nothing to do with it. Plus, she tried to use the example of her family disowning her because she got pregnant and it was one of the reasons for her depression, but that was the first child not this second child. I know insurance is expensive, but so is alcohol and weed. I know post- partum depression is real, but she needs to grow-up. You are having one night stand and not protecting yourself. Creating babies and then not taking care of them.

Nothing wrong with men being more involved in the support and care of their kid. She definitely chose the right men. With this kid here, these are deadbeat traits. Avoiding child support too. Smh. Cps took her baby once and she had to go to classes. She told them she wasn't able to care for her baby and she ended up hurting the baby and the baby died. She was dealing with mental illness. Their baby is where he needs to be. Safe in his daddy's arms. But she does need to pay.

I wish the plaintiff all the success and blessings that can be given for him as father and pray that his son can improve on his disability and that it won't continue to be a hindrance from him progressing in life. Its sad and very appalling that the defendant did not accept the help from the Judge Mathis staff' that wanted to direct her to mental health resources that could help her be more involved in the child's life. As the plaintiff mentioned in the episode he stepped up and took ownership of his parental responsibilities as a father so what's stopping her as the mother of the child from doing the same. Obviously, she thinks the drugs are more important than the child. ⚖

  • @anhonorableindependent9124

No No No. Im sorry but I'm not playing into that victim narrative with this girl.
So she begins her case talking about her Other child that the case has nothing to do with,
Two, she stated she sees the other child consistently,
But when it comes to This child, she drops him off, never to return and doesn't see him nor supports him in anyway.
Yall fall for That Post Partum excuse if yall want but I see through it.
She doesn't want that child because he's disabled and would require more responsibility.
That's why she set the father up to drop the baby off then abandoned him.
If it were vice versa and she was bringing him to court for being a deadbeat, his depression, felon history, family history, mental history etc etc would not stop people from crucifying him for being a deadbeat.
She's a deadbeat and she wrong to do that innocent child like that.
And that Update at the end only confirms it even more.
She didn't reach back out to the show for help because she doesn't need any nor want any. Smh.
