My first time fishing, I was 3 years old. My cousins and other relatives opted for the old push button zebco's. They were great in the early 80's. Being the youngest I got stuck with the old cane pole. Obviously I couldn't cast very far since there was no damn reel on the rod. I fished very...very, close to shore. We were trying to catch anything we could. My first time fishing I caught more fish than the rest of my family combined, at 3. They were all bluegill from North Georgia. One of the best memories I have. Leave it to the first damn yankee in the family.

Keep mixing it up Josh! Thanks for taking the time to give a close up. We don’t have bluegills or sunfish where I live and it’s nice to see different species. I appreciate the effort you put into your videos!!

I know of a few places around here in Central Ky. that has those “in-bred hybrids”( lol), , I guess that’s what they are, only it happens naturally, hell I even caught some that looks like half Warmouth and regular bluegill! You know what a Warmouth is don’t you? It’s about the same size and things as a green sunfish and has about the same size mouth only they have more colors, like purple and yellow! They can get real pretty and they make excellent Flathead bait too! And I it was bullheads that was the first thing I started fishing for too, many many moons ago, I was probably about 6 years old or something.
