Yeah, it’s not the prettiest, but the form is not the worst I’ve seen. Hopefully he starts making them a bit more consistently soon. Maybe the eye is bothering him?
Yup. The game tape looked great, but I think scouts were thrown off by his percentages, especially towards the end of the season, which is why he dropped.
Yup, all three could knock down shots. It is kind of funny in a grim way when shooters struggle to shoot. Like, that’s the skill that they’ve built their career on, but they’re so reliant on variance swinging their way, and their bodies responding properly, etc. like holy crap that must suck when you’re in a slump.
There is nothing WORSE for a team's culture and attitude than the organization and coaching staff telling them to "cool it down," and purposefully cultivate bad habits. Flagg is cool, sure. But it's a deep draft class and he's not a generational talent like Wemby. I'd much rather cultivate winning habits with our current guys than hope and pray that we get Flagg next year and further delay the rebuild. If they "win too much," that's fine. It means they're trending in the right direction.
Honestly, you’re the best guy making Raptors content right now!
Thank you!
Don’t forget Mr 99% - Matt Thomas! Great analysis as always - please keep it up!
I was only counting the crappy shooters for the Raptors! Matt Thomas could stroke it!
Great game, too bad all but the fourth quarter got preempted by Jr. hockey on TSN. Anyway, glad I could catch up with your great review
Oh, that’s a shame! I must have had the other broadcast, because I got to watch the whole thing.
Any they wonder why people keep cutting the cords. Haven't had cable in over 10 yrs.
@@RaptorsReport if I was paying attention, I would have picked a different feed
I find Scottie's 3 point form so weird; half the time it goes in I'm shocked it even happened.

This was the first time the Raptors looked like a modern NBA team. A lot more 3s up and a lot more went in than usual.
Unleash the Battlecat! Sign him now, Raptors.
I feel like a lot of fans are sleeping on Ja'Kobe. Dude was mocked in the top 10 in a bunch of boards I looked at, IIRC.

I think Scottie's three point shooting is being affected by those glasses, they certainly could mess with his depth perception
@@shayansaberi98 yup, I could certainly see that!
Don't forget about CJ Miles!!!
He was decent his first season here (36%), but then yeah he kind of lost his touch.
@@RaptorsReport BTW, awesome and honest review of the raptors. I always wait for the next day's report cards.
@ cheers!
Scottie +33 on a shooting terrorist night is crazy
Yeah, he was good defensively, but also single game +/- is highly noisy and the Pels suck serious ass.
This team shot free throws like Ben Simmons last night.
Lmao, yeah this team needs a full week of FT practice.
I guess the last "successful" bench snipers the Raptors hired were Jason Kapono, then Lou Williams. Matt Thomas was decent too

You forgot Matt Thomas.
Matt Thomas’ problem was never shooting for the Raptors though, it was the other stuff.
ja'KOBE
Looking like his namesake!
Cooper Flag is the goal this season. So we need to easy on the winning strategy
Not that I disagree, but I think a win here and there isn’t the worst. They should trade some of the vets if they want to properly tank.

You wanna destroy culture for a 17% chance?
That was the worst game I ever
