Hey Sports Historians! What did you guys think about DeMar DeRozan being traded for Kawhi Leonard? Would you have done anything differently? Let me know! **Correction** The 2001 76ers/Raptors series was during the Semifinals.
Cool video I loved it man! A few words of advice, you might want to get a new microphone as there was this weird buzzing that kept occurring in the background at a high pitch. Just a thought man! Keep up the good work tho
The 2018 - 19 NBA Season was my last season watching the NBA in any capacity. Now I watch Highlights these days. But talking about The Toronto Raptors, this is a fun topic. Toronto had the Huskies, won a title then defunct forever until 1995 - 96 where the Raptors were born and so too were those DOPE ASS UNIFORMS!!! Like holy WTF!!! Inaugural Jersey will ALWAYS, AND I DO MEAN, ALWAYS be my favorite uniform!
I remember the 2019 Championships, it was the first and only time I ever cared about the Raptors, I got to watch "The Bounce" on Live TV, and I got to watch Toronto finally win the Finals in game 6, it was a great game, and since then... I haven't watched a Raptors game since
Correction thread: Philli/Toronto was in the Semis. Milwaukee played the winner in the Eastern finals that's why last year was like a mirror to the Vince Carter/Iverson series.
Since Toronto is now the only Canadian team in the NBA, it's disappointing that Vancouver was never given any chance to build before the Grizzlies moved to Memphis. It's the same I said about the now Utah Jazzs short tenure in New Orleans since its inception. Same with San Diego now Houston Rockets, or the dismal LA Clippers, originally the Buffalo Braves, to San Diego and now Los Angeles. I think the reason why most of these teams wound up relocating is due to poor ownership, not because local fans have no interest in the sport.
Hot take: if it weren’t for Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady the raptors would’ve been as miserable as the Vancouver Grizzlies and left in the same timespan too
My the end Maple Leaf Gardens was like the old Boston Garden in that the building not being updated and essentially allowed become in disrepair. The were both great places but they both were past their useful lifetime.

That 2019 run was one of the best times in Toronto man, hopefully we get to experience more of that in the future

Vince Carter's NBA "Journeyman Career" would begin after his trade from the Toronto Raptors to the New Jersey Nets.

Yeah my bad, got my series mixed up. Thanks for the correction!
Cool doc....but we got swept in our first ever playoff series and won our second one against Larry J and the Knicks.
Yep my bad, thanks for the correction!
@@AllSportsHistory Keep these docs coming. You're a good man.

In 1994 they were having everyone vote on what the logo should be, they almost named it Toronto Tarantulas, but they went with Raptors instead.
The Cavs threatened to move to Toronto too. They were going to be called the towers if I remember.

The Toronto Raptors kick ass. 😀👍🏀
Besides Drake shooting a video there
1:11 - John Vito, Jr. Co-Majority Owner of the #TorontoRaptors, having an intimate moment with THEE "Raptors Logo" based off #JurassicPark. Nice! ❤
Terrence Ross and Vince Carter are the other two Raptors to score 50+ points both had 51 points and then DeRosen had the 52 point game
When Muggsy and Dell Curry was in the Raptors I felt like those two did help out T-Mac and Vince help out that time.
Skydive most famous moment is Jose Canseco hittin Dat famous 489 ft Home Run. Off da camera 📷 n ALCS!!
That's Right! We The North!

Wait the raptors didn’t make the Eastern Conference Finals prior to 2016. That game 7 in 2001 against the 76ers was the eastern conference semifinals.
Yeah that’s my bad, got that part mixed up.
@@AllSportsHistory ok cool

You need another correction. Your first mistake was 45 seconds into your video. Raptors were established 1995 not 1993
While they didn’t play their first game until 1995, the NBA actually approved of their expansion on November 4, 1993.
Your words spoken is not typed well, many mistakes,
.no mention of Lowry and others shame
Thanks Brenda, appreciate the feedback!
wtf are you even trying to say? your comment brings shame to your family
