I agree with the desire to put Americans first, and isolationism is always so tempting. However, I think it's incredibly naive to think we would live in a better world if America just removed itself from the world stage.

Everyone wants to keep citing the death toll that the Gaza Health Ministry puts out, but the Gaza Health Ministry is run by Hamas. Unpopular opinion but I could care less about this conflict. America has too many problems of its own for us to be worrying about a conflict thousands of miles away. If everyone put the time and energy debating what’s going on in their own county, we would be better off.
When someone is offered what they say they want but turn it down repeatedly ya gotta start questioning if thats actually what they want and if maybe they are just saying it as an excuse or reason for something else.

14:00 Cenk isn't the only one linking American jews to Israel, Sean. Most American Jews themselves have a strong affinity and loyalty to Israel. It is genuinely difficult to tell where many of them would side if the US and Israel ever found themselves diametrically opposed.
Affinity has nothing to do with being a citizen of the country though. You don't yell at a American born in the USA to Mexican parents about what the Mexican govt is doing, just because they visited relatives in Mexico a couple times.
As to loyalty, that's not really relevant either but I dispute the claim regardless. You can look up polling data on this, I think there is a pew research study article.

As to your other point, it's a false comparison. If a Mexican American was defending controversial actions of the Mexican government as vociferously as this Rabbi was defending Israel's then one certainly would be justified in wondering where his true loyalties lie...especially if he had a long history of doing so.
