Not necessarily. Debate tactics and performance isn't necessarily dependent on the strength of your arguments or intelligence. Plenty of debates are about confounding, frustrating and derailing the opposing side, rather than having a legitimate discussion. Having a good argument doesn't automatically make you a good debater and having a bad argument doesn't automatically make you a bad debater. Debating Far Leftists like Chenk can be like playing chess with a 5 year old, they constantly change the rules in their own favor.

Apartheid refers to racial segregation and different laws for citizens based on race or ethnicity. This has nothing to do with Israel. Also I am israeli so don't try to twist what those israeli officials said. The so called human rights orgs are heavily biased and far left and their reports were throughly criticized and debunked. The people who are responsible for the Amnesty report were shown to be extremist anti Israe activists, in contrast to Amnesty's impartiality policy about handling conflict situations.
The BDS movement in goals and words strive to end the Jewish state of Israel regardless of borders. You can call it names to justify it all you like. This is still what you support. Just like pathetic Cenky, you try to name call your way out of it.

Great analysis of this debate. Prager is so measured and clear thinking. I'm amazed that Cenk and Anna cannot see how how morally confused they are when confronted by Prager's logic.
I've asked the same question of different Leftist hosts/debaters, but with TYT, the answer was rather obvious, especially in this particular debate. Cenk and Anna are relentlessly double-teaming Dennis with such frothing fervor that Dennis can barely get a full sentence out, let alone a full illustration of his point. The moment he actually starts to really make his point, he is railroaded with back-to-back moral grandstanding, belligerent presumptions, and vicious accusations. These two Muppets can't slow their onslaught long enough to consider the nuances of their political crusade. It doesn't even occur to them that their ethics or morals could be wrong; they KNOW their goals/values are progressively righteous, and because of that, no argument or impediment will ever convince them to reassess.
I've seen this exact same thing with my father, who morphs into the Christian equivalent of Cenk when he gets on a tyrade. It's the power of indoctrination.

I don't know if this would have been effective as Cenk could've just countered with something along the lines of, "It's not about what I want, it's about what the Palestinians want, and you want to take away their freedom of choice." Pressing for his own stance on it would've probably just ended the talk. I think Dennis wanted to be on the defensive. He would've known how emotional Cenk is, and if he could keep him pressing and getting more and more upset. That ultimately is what Dennis wants, to show how inadequate the TYT is. Cenk would probably retort with other nonsense as well, and with backup there it would've just unraveled to repeating statements. It kind of was already, but I believe the terms favored Dennis here.
He did not have qualms to excuse the Armenian Genocide AND MAKE A SHOW NAMED IN HONOR OF ITS PERPETRATORS what makes you think that supporting Hamas would be any more controversial?
This was truly glorious to watch. The only thing that would have made it better would be to see this debate and Cenk destroyed in front of a live audience like with Ben Shapiro a few years ago.

It was honestly a great take of Prager’s on Cenk’s points. Cenk actually has twisted way of thinking but Prager’s choice of words was perfect for that moment because “weird” is less slanderous but demonstrates that Dennis has actually consumed, digested, and analyzed Cenk’s words. Which he still could have done all those things and called it twisted but it’s easy to dismiss words like “twisted,” as just a “you didn’t even listen to what I said and you’re just throwing insults” (which is what happened when he tried that and Cenk rebutted with “NO YOU!” 😂) weird is a perfect way to throw an insult without directly throwing an insult. Very smart on Dennis’ part

On the separation of church and state thing, I don't know exactly what Boebert said, but I do know that the common argument with that is that the Jefferson letter was addressing the state encroaching on the church not vice versa and that it was incorrect to insinuate that the phrase was written to prevent things like prayer in a public setting or the ten commandments in a courthouse.
I'm still torn on it, one of them dirty fence sitters. We can read Jeffersons letters and his actions denying tax free status to churches. The reasons he gave for this denial show his thoughts on the political process in practice while his letters give us a peek into his thinking but I honestly don't know.

@@phantom8926 I recommend the correspondence between him and Adam's. Christians cherry pick the early ones atheists the later. It's an interesting read but you can't read one or cherry pick from the ones you like because it would be easy to read a single letter and say "see he agrees with me".
There's an interesting part where Jefferson writes about his questioning of the divinity of Christ and when Adam's responds he sounds concerned for Jeffersons soul. Then Jefferson in response writes reaffirming his religious affiliation but didn't back down from his position. The man was complicated and I enjoy his writings but just giving you 1 letter won't work so I apologize because I can't. You'll find him denying the resurrection in one breath and reaffirming his Christianity in the next. It would be easy to call him a hypocrite but after reading the letters I don't think he was.
read his letters in their entirety, they're fascinating. Look into the Baptist and methodist issue. He does those things and then builds state schools with Christian churches. That's why in this regard I'm a fence sitter.

That declaration is only an observation, it does not force anything on anyone. It is not setting up a state church, which is the only thing the 1st Amendment forbids, an "establishment of religion". If it was forbidding any gov't association with religion, why did the founders hold church services at the capitol? Why did they invite Christian pastors to say the opening prayer?

Forget about literal belief in God for a moment and just think practically. Societies need a fundamental organizing structure. The best societies have a sophisticated and well tested religious structure that upholds the morals and gives purpose to the lower classes who tend to be more tribal and gives accountability to the upper classes who tend to be more tyrannical. Atheism has yet to provide a fundamental organizing structure for a large population that didn't quickly devolve into tyranny.

I’m not religious, but I was definitely raised with Christian values (hypocrisy, right?) and I think we need this more than ever now. Prager is right. The less people who have religious beliefs to guide them, the more depraved we seem to become in the west. Not just America, in Britain too.

Im an agnostic Objectivist Libertarian; but I still live my life by Christian values because IDK they’ve worked and made people happy for 2000 years.
They lead to respect of one’s neighbor and respect for oneself. It encourages betterment. The only thing I don’t agree with in Christianity is the idea that Altruism is something everyone should partake in.
The very concept of secularism comes from Christianity, as far as I can tell. I'm an atheist and I want a secular state, but there is no secular state without the Christian tradition.

They talk constantly about consequences for you words. If someone says they don't enjoy a sacred cow, not even dislike just not enjoy that is deserving of being unemployed for the rest of your life, but say that you support the destruction of a country and the government should be forced to do business with you shows that they don't really believe what they say.
I don't know anyone who wants a theocracy, period. The idea is an amathama to me, and I imagine everyone else I know. But you are right, a basic moral government, and morals often come from religions. Pray in schools wanted...prayer in school, not pray to my Protestant, Lutheran, Jewish, Muslim, (put your religion here) higher power. To whatever you want or take a moment and just gather your thoughts. A moment of silence, and allow prayer.

Your point about Israel’s strategy for dealing with the constant attacks by only dealing with it situation by situation instead of just ending the Hamas leadership at its root, cutting off the head of the snake, if you will is actually a really good point. I wonder if they did just ended it, by doing this one thing, albeit drastic, that it would be a better strategy. What they are doing right now, you can see they are trying to avoid as much backlash as possible but the problem is it prolongs the problem and makes them continually look bad in the media’s eyes while also letting the conflict continue. I wonder if they did this one big thing, they might look really bad at one point (although it wouldn’t be actually be morally wrong but the media would make it seem like it) but it would end. It would end the skirmishes and constant media coverage and bashing for how many more decades to come. They would get bashing once and probably a lot of it but that would be it (until another terrorist group comes along I suppose).
The problem is that Hamas isn't a single headed beast. You kill one terrorist leader, another will show up to take their place. Al-Qaeda is still operational despite Bin Laden being dead for over a decade. This is a similar problem that exists with Hamas.
