It comes down to this it needs less seats by taking out the F section behind the wing It needs a 5% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency It needs two main rr ultra fans in board for a 5% efficacy gain, the two out board engines will just be throttled back in the cruise to save fuel. Many A380 operators like global are already looking at only having premium economy and business class like jet star.
Nothing you have ever shown on this channel has ever shocked or shaken up the aviation industry. Are you familiar with the term "Hyperbole"?. Well you guys should, Mr Computer Voice, because you live and breathe the term with every video.
This is truly a show off move. The entire yield of the A380 assembly line was no more than 250 units-a total disaster in financial terms. Emirates, with its massive fleet, only has around 120 A380s. Airbus will NOT reopen its assembly line for that. In my opinion, this announcement is intended to influence Boeing's decision to release a twin-engine version of the 747. After all, who has the largest sub-fleet of 747s? You guessed it right! :-)
Emirates is a genius, especially cuz they have a fuel hedging agreement with enoc ,meaning, they are paying a very low price , the price of petrol in the 90s
Emirates is not the only airline that is upgrading the A380S fleet Lufthansa and British Airways are also upgrading their planes and keeping them for a long time with Lufthansa they are going to upgrade the engines and the inside of the planes and British Airways is doing the same thing so it makes sense that Emirates is doing the same thing in fact British Airways is in process of buying more A380 aircraft to add to their fleet so they will have 20 aircraft and they will possibly add more to the fleet of those planes and Lufthansa is keeping the A380S until the 2040S but they haven’t said how far into that one because like emirates they are hoping that Airbus will either bring out a Neo version of the A380 or bring out a new aircraft with 4 engines as you probably know that Airbus was talking about building the new A390 or a new Airbus A380 but they made their minds up on which one and it depends on how much interest they get from airlines as well as to building a new version of the A380
Boeing 777 - reminds me of the line from Syriana, the movie: Exactly, except your President calls my father, says, I've got unemployment in Texas, Kansas, Washington State. One phone call later we're stealing out of our social programs to buy overpriced airplanes. We owed the Americans, but we've repaid that debt.
you just can't get the luxury without the A380, which is what they want............ makes sense, therefore the right aircraft for them is an A385 TWIN neo............ but will Airbus make it?.......... because the original mistake Airbus made was 4 engines !!!!
These videos would be much better if they were narrated by an actual human instead of a computer. Some of the errors turn a serious statement into a comedy routine.
Because this is a bot channel it doesn't matter what you say, it just responds with a thank you. Automatic, there's no human actually reading any of these comments.

Annoying that you keep repeating the same thing over and over again.
agreed nothing new
@@davidtea5763 Definitely not shocking 😂😂

The only time I will be shocked is when they stop using the term shocked in every video title.

You’re right
@@FLIGAVIA I was surprised when i did research on why they bought so many jets as you mentioned
This was known by the whole industry in December 2023 so who is shocked
All technology is killing the 777X . But the king 777 lives on.
true

yep.
It should be interesting to see how many more airlines follow suit with those airlines
Clickbait title, AI production and it still gets likes. I hope they are not bots either...

@idanceforpennies281 we are reading and learning for our channel
Delta
Four motors and double deck jets are finished, simply that!😂😂😂
Well it isn't dummy
The reason this channel will never TRULY blow up is the unnecessary CLICKBAIT video title on every second video. Disgusting
That comment is HUGELY SHOCKING. 😂😂
Damn AI pronunciations
They have to keep using A380. The new B777X experienced cracks on a critical part after testing. More delays I think.
Yes. We don't know exactly when it will be worked...
Emirates zzzzzzz
Its not shocking. I think ure an AI 😅
