It’s crazy how despite Cartman being a bad boyfriend I was 100% on his side this episode like I can understand being five minutes late or even 15 but A WHOLE HOUR NAHH😭😭

Girls know it takes them 3 hours to get ready for anything, so if they do not start to get ready 3 hours early, f them, that is their problem, you just say ok im leaving, with or without you, watch how fast she is ready then.

I don't think I super get it. I was raised by a single military mom and every time I was the one waiting on her for at least 20 minutes. An hour once
my uncle is late so consistently, my mother has been telling him the wrong time (1/2 to 1 1/2 hours earlier) for any event for over a decade and he STILL is late sometimes :D
Military brat as well. My dad and I have a saying that we'd rather be 30 minutes early than 5 seconds late.
As a non military kid, you being a military kid is completely irrelevant and no one cares.
I firmly think that all of Heidi's problems are caused by Eric, but this is the one time where she IS the problem, and I hate that i have to agree with Eric her behavior with getting ready.

I used to have a guy buddy just like heidi, we say meet up at 1pm in town, thats like 20min bus ride away fom his place, he would fking wake up at 12:55pm, n tells ppl he will be on time, but hes the type of dude that gels his hair n takes forever. Long story short, hes always 2 hrs fking late n tells ppl "its just lunch". So ya, we stopped hanging out

Heidi being stupidly clumsy with her timing skills is very irritating. As a cosplayer I’ve gone to conventions and done a lot of Halloween related stuff for many years and even I would’ve already had everything prepped and ready to go. I wouldn’t be doing the same thing as Heidi Turner, I would have either talked to her about it and get her to wake up and improve on her timing skill. But if she doesn’t get her act together I would have dumped her.

Part of why I love this episode is because by this point, we hadn't gotten a traditional holiday special from this show in a long time. It was so refreshing to see a fun Halloween special that was more focused on the fun aspect than anything else. Also, this might be the only time I ever found myself siding with Cartman during his relationship with Heidi. Every other instance was him being an abusive ass, but I would have been just as annoyed as he was in this situation.
I'm a girl, I hate having to wait for someone, so I totally get it.
Like, if we said we would leave at a certain hour, you need to be ready BEFORE this hour. Once its time to go, I go, and if you're not ready it's your problem. I understand that he's pissed off. But as kyle said, just break up if you're unhappy with her...😂
LOL i don't bother dressing up and don't wear a ton of makeup but the few times i would bother putting in effort i'd just be ready an hour earlier than needed/by the time someone would swing by to pick me up, if not just be dressed and put on a tiny bit of eyeshadow while in the car assuming they don't drive recklessly (otherwise for halloween, not that i was ever into costumes much i'd just half ass it with a cutesy hoodie that had like cat ears or something)
I'm the same way. Being late stresses me out, so I hated how my husband would be just getting into the shower as we were supposed to be heading out the door. Then he'd blame traffic for why we were always late to everything. I just didn't understand it at all. We were complete opposites in that regard.
