"Now, have I provided answers to all your questions in a courteous and prompt fashion?" "... WHAT DO YOU MEAN, HAVE YOU ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS!? *NO!!* YOU HAVE NOT ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL!!"
So this is hands down, my favorite episode of Season 18; it is purposefully confusing, but that feeds the creativity SO much. and then the reveal of their 'real world' counterparts.
@@DisfunktionalTV They have a lot of creative episodes, and many more that subvert your expectations of the show; but even those are normally centered around parodying another movie or property (such as the Startling).
This episode sparked the fan-theory that ALL of South Park is in the virtual world, which is why we occasionally see live-action stuff and why the graphics keep improving, etc.
Why does it feel weird to say season 18 of any show is great you wouldn't expect a show that been going on for this long to still being in fact there's no many bad episode of south park and most of the worst episode are boring or just meh at worst kinda blows my mind
This has to be one of the most fun episodes they have come up with and I love "the graphics suck" line. To understand the order of events that happened, you could always to play it in reverse.
Another one of my favorite & hilarious episodes. Definitely one of my other favorite episodes with Butters. Again, poor gullible innocent and naive Butters. That ending you have to admit you never saw coming.
@DisfunktionalTV if you thought that caught you off guard, then check out the episode I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining South Park: Season 16, Episode 6 This is another interesting one if you will.
😂😆 This episode when first aired made my brain overload as I was trying to figure shit out and it only got more complicated the further we got 😅. Great reaction, a top tier episode.
My 3 explanations are: 1st explanation: At the start, Cartman had gone in to save Kyle from the trance he was in, but accidentally ended up in stan's VR world, but he didn't know that he was in that world and because of the "minor issues" he fell into a coma-like trance, and thought he was in in real life. Kyle was imagining Cartman in a trance in his* (*Kyle's) own trance. Then Kenny told Kyle about Cartman's trance (Inside of Kyle’s VR world). Kyle, still in his trance, went into Cartman's VR world to fetch him, (so he swapped VR worlds, because Cartman was in Stan’s VR world) but somehow, Cartman remembered his mission. He then tells Kyle his mission. They go to Stan's house (who is the one having the trance but Cartman and Kyle don't know that, and neither does Stan) where Stan imagines Kenny in a trance. Then they go to Butters' house and Stan simply imagines everything that happens there. Customer service said you cannot call customer service in VR or it will screw up with their interceptions of reality (i know i made that part up but its the only way this explanation makes sense) but I think if you say "Yes, you have answered my questions satisfactorily and have provided good customer service" it can fix that screwed up interception. Which means Stan snaps out of his trance. 2nd explanation: The confusing story was a game on the VR and Stan was playing it. 3rd explanation: The start was all real. Cartman tricked Butters into thinking he was wearing VR and then of course got grounded. In the hospital Cartman then tells him hes stuck in a simulation. That then leads Butters to making up this entire story in his head to pass time while he's grounded. His dad then tells him hes ungrounded
@1:30 where is security, and where are the teachers monitoring the hall? This sounds so alien to me. Where I live the teachers would be in class teaching stuff to the kids, or having lunch together in the so called teachers room. The one or two that do walk around to keep an eye out would only react to an already escalating situation, and for security... Well, you can find them at the airport or a money transfer company. USA, home of the free, ey? ! Neh... 🤔
I wish this had been the series finale. I know everyone tends to hate the "It was all a dream / none of it was real" trope, but I think THIS would have been an excellent exception to that trope-hatred rule.
When i first saw this air was so fun me and my friends got hella stoned cause comedy central promoted the hell out of it. When it was over you instantly new you saw a brand new classic SP episode. When i think of the more recent seasons this episode always stands out. The 4th wall break was so great. Its all been a simulation 🤣🤣

Where is the security, where are the teachers guarding the halls? Uhm. It's a school. I feel very sad if you need to have that kinda stuff in the US. Over here we just.. go to school, and study, and yes, can go away when we want, in the hallway, yes, very crazy.
Depends on the school. Where I went to school there weren't any but in other places there are security guards at the entrance and around the halls. Mainly because kids will skip class or flat out leave the school.
@@jacksonvanbeelen5224 yeah. I can't if I'm more surprised at the UA-camr thinking that it's just a regular school and not a South Park school where they don't give a fuck or the poster who thought it was something weird about having security in a school.
There's also a reference to "the simulation" theory of life, where it states that everything in the universe is a simulation, and the prrof of that is we can't disprove it.
That's actually a logical fallacy. If you make such an extraordinary claim, it would require extraordinary evidence to prove it. Meaning the Burden of Proof lies on the person making such a claim and not on the person who tries to dispute it. The absence of proof in this case cannot also be evidence of proof. Since that would require circular reasoning to prove
If you notice after Cartman and Butters conversation in the hospital you no longer see any characters going to there destination they just arrive there like fast traveling in a game.
Idk where you all went to school but where i went to school students could just walk out. I can't speak for the elementary and middle school doors but the high school doors didn't even have any type of alarms set on them.
