    I really respect the fact that you are very transparent about sharing your internal conversation! I am from a generation where one paid for their extended upper education, but as you so deftly captured, learning is really developing and refining the skill of observing! That does not require money, though it does require commitment. The latest trends are being developed by those artist who are amplifying something that has been done in past but they also realize a new take on it. "The better we understand how we got to this point, the better decisions we can make going forward." 👏👏👏

    My Blender workflow: 1. Find fun new UA-cam tutorial. 2. Follow along until my screen stops looking like the tutorial and my buttons don't do what the tutorial says they should do. 3. Scratch head why it doesn't work. 4. Close blender for the rest of the day.

    "Steal like an artist", yep.
    Also, the kaizen principle, if you copy but try to improve/upgrade upon it, works even better.

    This is great because the original was done in C4D which doesn't have geometry nodes, so the workflow is not just a simple reverse engineering process but requires some creativity too.

      Yep! That’s what definitely makes it more challenging and much more rewarding

    I've been following Ducky since 2019, seen a lot of creators promote their products and stuff but the reason I love Ducky is coz he is having his full blown material addon but still he shows us how to make materials from scratch, Love It! 💯😎

    Niceeee. I’ve been building this figure and I put a mesh overlay on top to smooth the cracks in the clay in edit mode, then when I went to colored it in sculpt mode my whole shape disappeared! I am new to Blender do you have any idea how to help me?

    Question, maybe for another video. Applying the node pipe Cube - Mesh To Curve - Curve to Mesh (Curve Circle) for the wire look always leaves a small whole in the vertex intersection. Is there a way to, at least, join the mesh at it? Thank you.

    • @somerital
      @somerital Місяць тому

      Might be a cleaner way to do it, but I always just run a Mesh to Points out of the cube, and then run that into another Instance on Points, and use a UV or GeoSphere with the same radius as my profile curve for the cube. It plugs the holes, at least.

    can you create a character only with nodes?

  • @Zhiznestatistiks
    @Zhiznestatistiks 5 місяців тому

    I Don't thing it's really that controversial of a topic. Especially now with an "AI" thing in the mix.
    If you study \ recreate it for you own education it's not stealing. If you give a credit to the original it's likely not stealing also. And if the random onlookers aren't able to find you piece similar enough to the one you took the inspiration from, you may not need to give it a credit. Though, i personally think it's good manners to do so if you think you need to.

    Step 1: Close the internet.
    Step 2: Open blender.
    Step 3: Make something.
    This is how you get better at blender. Extrapolate for any other skill in your life. You don’t need tutorials, you need practice. Go practice.
