There is a great need for Blender proper courses for Concept Art. With an aproach that suits Concept Art and is quite diiferent than learning for animation or making game ready assets for example.
Cov phillips videos are insane but with drawbacks, he use paid softwares and resources which are not possible for everyone 2nd is he needs a good editor for his videos. But overall his videos are pure gold. You will definitely learn alot of new things.
Hey man your video is very usefull, but please make a table in notion and share it! then you can kupdate it and we can search in that more better (like your descriptions:topic, level, length, price .....)
Phew I'd go with one of CG Boosts modeling courses probably or have a look at my hard-surface course on CG cookie and the many other more complex modeling courses they have available.
hi, id like to know not just how to learn blender, but specifically how to START learning blender because currently i know nothing and i dont want to start learning via getting immediately thrown into a tutorial that simply explains all of blenders function ALONG the way. I want learn (get a good/basic idea of) what everything does and familiarize myself with the actual software and its interfaces before actually using and applying them.
Get Grant Abbits beginner courses. Along his great teaching style to each chapter a forum is connected to help. In the beginning it's even more important to have someone to help when you have questions.
I wanted to learn nicky blender's style but 200€+ is a high price tag. This is the most expensive course I have seen so far. Luckily I found a couple similar tutorials on youtube Japan and I signed up to patata school to get the hang of things as well. I'll try a couple of courses from this list as soon as I'm done with the the ones i'm on now :D Thank you for the list!
Do you know a good product animation, modeling, texturing course. Like I whant to get a course that show me new tips and tricks for levling up my produckt shots/ad's.
I think my Catch course is honestly a great starting point for some of those topics. Furthermore anything Derek Elliott has going over on Skillshare is amazing for products!
Hello! I only graduated from school and looking for my future profession. I have passion for blender, but ive seen some ai already making 3d models, what your opinion about this profession? will it stay or companies will start fire multiple 3d artist like its going with 2d artist due to ai progress in making 2d arts?
I don't know the future ofcourse, so take this with a grain of salt. But I think if you make good art, ai won't replace you. Find a style, find a skill and be good at it and you should be covered. Forever.
3D Tudor's course and the MAster Urban environment go over a lot of these principles. 3D tudors is more procedural/modular, but the Master Urban also covers modular environment assets. The workflow for these assets is the same for environment assets as it would be for props. Only difference might be poolycount and texture size.
It;s actually quite difficult to get a style like Nicky's going, you'd be surprised. It looks a lot simpler than it is to do well! I think it's well worth the spend and she also has occasional discounts if you want it cheaper.
Today the so called cg fast track was $69 was so excited about making the purchase when I get home,In 1hr it became $100 greed at its peak for a free software!
Hey Kaizen, Thank you for this video as this made very clear which tutorial or course to pursue for specialized learning. I want to get into 3d product animation and have completed the donut series(blender guru) and some tutorials. And needed this video to pursue online course. But I want to know is 3d or product animation a good option(is this a good source of imcome) because I am very much interested and want to make my career into this field. So Can you share your experience and from where you learnt your 3d skills(do you have any 3d animation degree just as Smeaf has?)and also "casually asking" what else do you do for earning except from your courses and youtube(such as freelance or job "if you could share")[sorry :( for asking all this because I am very much confused from where to start and whether to come in this field or not ].It would be very very much helpful if you could tell or guide through a reply or a video. Again Thank you for this informative video, very clear explanation and your various tutorials on lighting and camera which help me in my 3d stuff.
Thanks, glad you liked the video! As for your questions; I don't have a degree in 3D. I taught myself everything through tutorials and courses. I think a degree could be useful, mainly because it forces you to really learn a software/skill for a couple of years and guides you through that process. In terms of finding work a degree is less important afaik. In regards to earning I don't do anything besides UA-cam and courses/products. This is my sole income! For you; my recommendation would be; try learning Blender at a professional level through tutorials and courses and focus on creating a portfolio that looks clean and unique. This will be your main tool to find a job somewhere. Product animation is still huge and can be very profitable, just look at Derek Elliott!
@@KaizenTutorials Very Muchhh thank you for the guide...I will definetly progress into product animation through the tutorials and courses. Also I was thinking of joining an institute..bt institutes have a full course and they make us learn the whole about animation like sculpting,etc...bt I have to only learn and specialize myself into product animation. Again thank you for your reply:)

Having tried both, the 3D Tudor course is godawful, however the Master Urban Environments course is phenomenal and well worth the money.

Any suggestions on particle FX in Blender?
