Test drove the Honda, Toyota and Mazda, there is no comparison, the Mazda is in a different league for comfort, luxury, driving experience and equipment, it’s even better value, it isn’t even a close thing.
I have seen many Nissan lasting more than 500,000 miles without major issues and are the closest competitors to Toyota yet many don't present honest reviews due to many reasons, thanks for an honest review
I'm glad you did not omit Nissan. I have a 2015 Versa Note heading toward 89K mi and have had no issues. This list you presented was honest and accurate.
My friend bought a new Nissan Versa and it was a lemon. He took it to the dealership over 7 times in several months for major mechanical issues and he was able to get a refund under the lemon law. I owned a Acura CL (its a Honda Accord with better materials) and it has nothing but problems, including peeling paint after the first month of owning it, a leaky trunk and the well known bad transmission issue, which is well known with Honda/Acura V6 engines.
@@hectorheath9742 Mazda3 Premium Hatchback with a manual transmission. My 2023 is fun at least with the manual. Only available in the Hatchback with Premium trim and the naturally aspirated motor.
Honda, Toyota are very good, strong body, less maintenance n good cars. I drive for the last 25vyears in Dubai n 9 years in India HONDA n TOYO TA. I am very happy with driving, less maintenance cost.
True...while all German made cars are astronomically priced. They also lose value very quickly after the sale. I don't see German auto industry will survive....neither will American.
Kind of subjective. According to Consumer Reports annual reliability surveys (weighted average for the last few years): #1 Lexus #2 Toyota #3 Mazda #4 Acura #5 Honda #6 Subaru etc. The situation is similar for low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), Mitsubishi (or Suzuki outside the USA) entering the top. The best cars are not like that because of features, looks and other shallow indicators, but because of reliability, low TCO and performance. Thus, having 2 Honda in your top instead of 2 Toyota or replacing a Honda with a Subaru, shows a bias towards Honda.
@ruger6049, there are many other reasons why Nissan is out of Top 10 reliability. Almost all brands' reliability decreased vs. 2 decades ago (when the planned obsolescence was introduced in cars, after the electroappliances), but the top Japanese cars are still at the top. I had no issues (not even recalls) for the last 5 years for my Miata ND2 RF G-184, for the Suzuki Jimny LCV (4x4) and for a Lexus hybrid F Sport. But I did my research and I bought only the reliability and low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) leaders of their respective segments, I applied an aggressive maintenance etc.
Dig: Nissan just made a claim that the Versa, as well as the Altima, will soon be eliminated from production. Whether it's just for the US is unclear, but soon these two models will be history. Sad, but true. Bummer! Peace...🙏🏹♐
Urgh! The engine size on the Honda is a joke. Small working at many revolutions and wear and tear expedited. Stop, you can repeat this forever, don’t try latent mind control that we will accept the insufficiency of latest vehicles

Honda accord, Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla. Subaru Crosstrek.
Mazda and Suzuki should be mentioned when it comes to reliability.

The MX5/Miata, the best "cabrio" affordable little sport car in the world!
Jazz?one of the most practical and reliable cars in the world.

Mine is a lemon, CVT nightmare for my Versa.
Sorry to hear that. How many miles?
@@leogeee1 over 60,000 miles. I'm surprised you haven't heard about the Nissan CVT problems.
I HAVE heard but have not experienced any of it.
I think anywhere below 150K is nothing to most Japanese cars.
I been buying Toyotas over 30 years and I never had any problem with them ‘ thank god ‘

Strange no corolla or camry or accord the most selling cars are not in list
They are made in USA for USA market
I have Nissan wingroad done 280000 plus still great and very fuel efficient
Mazda is the way to go
I buy Honda it's reliable, I have 2007 CRV has 210,000or more miles now. I maintained it. Mechanic told me just change the oil and it will last.
Fantastic video review, truly informative, & everyone loves these 5 reliable cars/SUVs/cross-over.
No turbo or cvt
I concur with your statement.
Is the 2016 Honda civic ex a goood car
The new CRV costs in Germany 50000 Euro, the most basic model. That is with Tax. RAV4 basic Model is not much cheaper.

You get what you pay for...
I have no doubt in Japanese cars…bought 2 hilux 2009&2016 without test drive
I have a versa note.milage is 200k...no issues at all
What BS I have a 2020 Acura ZDX and it looks better than most newer cars and has been very reliable with its v6 300 hp naturally aspirated motor
What about Toyota Corolla Cross ?
where is Camry and Corolla??
What about Toyota Corolla?

I’m surprised, Camery didn’t make your list…😮😂
You mean Camry !!!
In pakistan every Honda civic has steering wheel issue after 10-15k klm.company doesn't bother.
I had Mazda MPV 00, lasted 400k miles, donated it in 2021.

Surprise that the Nissan is on this list. In Europe Nissan has a bad reliability record

Even their bad cars are good
Mitsubishi SUV made in Japan is the best.
The problem with these SUVs in Asia is they are so underpowered so they drive like an elephant. Hideous looking too though this is subjective.

2 Hondas.... Thats why Honda is the most reliable and futuristic car.

Subaru ???????
