Do yourself a favor and don't ever buy a subaru. I had dealings with Subaru of America last year after my local dealer broke my beautiful Forester and had no idea how to fix it. And then they refuse to fix it. I begged Subaru of America to step in and help for months, and then ended up having to get rid of the car and I lost thousands of dollars in that process. Subaru is the worst manufacturer on the planet.

All the Volkswagen's are unreliable and that is a big minus for them until that problem is corrected you should stay away ditto for the escape

Toyota cvt is not like other cvt transmissions. It has a separate motor to assist making it much mor reliable
