- Destiny's Rise of Iron raid (wrath of the Machine) will pit you against the final raid boss. "Aksis, Archon Prime!" This is footage of my first ever kill of this final raid boss! Killing Aksis is not easy! You'll need a solid raid strategy, which I will be discussing tomorrow!

I think this is a mix of a few of the tracks they made because it has some of Eyes Up and Archpriest's theme
The tracks name is eyes up
Some parts are similar to eyes up, but it isn't the same.

I love the new raid! It's so mechanical. Sad to think that by next week Datto will be doing it with six NLBs
I like how Okey was the only one who died (other than Byf and unknown player the one time) and Okey was the one doing the strikes with Datto and Blue on stream

It's a real shame that the music isn't directly on the soundtrack--some of the songs do sound like this, but not exactly. At least as far as I'm aware.

Byf can you tell me what light your Fireteam was when you did the final boss? My team was all 360+ and we can't get past 80% health
dude I made my character fresh a week ago and I'm 365-366 lol we did a glitch to have our raid team all together at Archon forge so we shot up in light
Our lowest light was Biowolf at 365. Me and okey were often rolling with him to compensate for his low light seeing as we were the next 2 highest. Him at 375 and me at 373 respectively.
This was not an easy one but a lot of it is down to learning positioning and not letting the shanks get behind you or dying for some other dumb reason.... like falling off the platform... :P

Machinist was the first boss. They just gave him an actual name.

That is the first boss of the raid.
Managed to beat this raid with my group about 13 hours after release, with a few breaks. This guy took probably 6 of those hours. He's tough. Damn fun raid though.

Byf, So are the Plaguelands part of an alternate timeline? If not, why can I leave a SIVA INFESTED VERSION of the Cosmodrone and jump to a Cosmodrone that's never been touched by it?
plaguelands is what the cosmodrome is currently at its state while the old cosmodrome is what it was like before. of course they will give you the option to go to both but in the timeline cosmodrone is currently all fucked up as the plaguelands

its not exact, but its the base music this fight uses it. in SIVA density critical, it uses the Archpriest

byf, can you infuse year one weapons to make them around 400 light, or do you have to get a lucky year three year one weapon drop? i had a few i loved, and i told my friend i wish i could use them in the game effectively, and he says you can now infuse any year one.. dont know if i trust him, but i hope. getting roi soon... also it was a her mercy sniper and a secret handshake with perfect rolls btw that i want to infuse.
Sorry bud, year one weapons max at year one values, which are way below year three values. Besides, you can't infuse any of the year one weapons. Gonna have to get a lucky drop

What's the track?
It's a combination of most parts of Eyes Up and Forged in Flame, tracks 5 and 20. For example Aksis's damage phase is the latter half of Eyes Up, and a very small window of Forged in Flame plays during the critical SIVA density segment. They don't sound exactly the same as in the fight though, shame there isn't a dedicated Aksis track like there is for Vosik (The Archpriest-16) and the death zamboni (Siege Engine-10).
Likely because the music is dynamic as you shift through Aksis' phases

Yes. Look up the Grimoire for it.
Who is Clovis ?
Yup. Was going to be colonisation tool to make construction quicker and enpower the colonists by boosting their strength, agility and intellegence. Had alot of human testing that caused serious health problems for its test subjects which were hidden away from the public eye (look up the Owl Sector and the Transmission event for details). Didn't get deployed before the Collapse but the Replication facility to make it did become functional but unused.
Also created the Exos

Yes, but he can do nothing while stunned.
As for your second question, again, Aksis is unable to move during damage phases while stunned, so no.
Ok thanks! I was thinking if he couldn't melee then you could use swords to do massive damage during the damage phase. As for the solar grenades they do more damage than Fusion grenades if you're using sun breakers so it could be a viable option to use them during the damage phase. Along is viking funeral to add damage from your team

Its not in the OST unfortunately, however I think it is a compilation of different songs from the OST

This was phase two, the part you are talking about is phase one.

What do you think the challenge mode for this will be? I think it might just be you have to stun him 3 times or something.
I imagine that the Aksis challenge will indeed be that a fireteam must make sure that they stun him whilst empowered three times in every round.

Actually looking at the fight I am thinking that the challenge might actually be involving the pillars so that the boss must be defeated without more that three people standing on a pillar. This means that you have only half the number of chances to damage the boss as you are using two pillars per damage phase.
No, the entire team can jump on one pillar when Aksis is charging his SIVA mites/launches the attack. Normally there would be something like 8 pillars, giving the player 8 rounds with which to destroy Aksis, however if the team are having to use two pillars every round they now only have four rounds with which to destroy him.

How much communication does it take to beat aksis?
Can someone help me please. How do I get rise of iron on xbox one by itself and not with the bundle. Because around the time it came out it gave me the option to buy it by itself and the with the bundle. Now I have to get the collectors edition in order to get it!
You need to order it directly from in-game.

He probably has fusion ammo in 2 of his armor slots.
you have to have an armor piece that gives you extra heavy ammo
With twilight garrison I can get twelve just using the heavy ammo perk. Probs something similar

In certain places Rise of Iron was taken off the Xbox Store which means it can't be purchased, they should be fixing it pretty quickly

On paper it looks simple, but due to randomness and constant rotation, its easy to get all mix up and gets really convoluted real quick
