Lita Ford was in the all girl band 'The Runaways' with Joan Jett before they both went solo.
Check out her duet with Ozzy, "Close My Eyes Forever'
Yes, I was about to post they should watch Lita & Ozzy's "Close My Eyes Forever"
Amber will definitely love this one.
Great suggestion !!
Yes s great song
Or Cherry Bomb.
Lita and Joan Jett used to be in a band together called The Runaways.
Killer band. Love Lita...Love Joan...love Cherie Curry...love The Runaways.
CHERRY BOMB !!!’ 🍒 💣!
@@generoberts9151 you said it wrong.
It's Ch ch ch ch cherry Bomb! LOL!!!
Yes yes without hesitation. All female band from the 70s. The Runnaways. CH CH CH CHERRY BOMB!
Cherry BOMB!!!! Classic
@Maya Nightwolf good suggestion.
Lita Ford, Cherie curry, Jackie Fox and Joan Jett were in a teenage all female rock band called “The Runaways” in the Seventies.
“Cherry Bomb” will not disappoint!
dont forget micki steele of the Bangles
Don't forget Sandy West on the drums.
That song is the bomb!
I saw Lita Ford, Poison, and Def Leppard on "The Rock of Ages" tour- was one of THE BEST concerts I've ever been to. Lita crushed it as the opener. Crowd was crazy for her
I saw her with Y&T and Twisted Sister in the 80s.
Next stop- Lita and Joan together as teenagers, in The Runaways, esp. "Cherry Bomb" or "I Love Playin' With Fire".
ua-cam.com/video/_EBvXpjudf8/v-deo.html
Very good suggestions!
I was fixing to make that point myself.
Yes!!!
I believe Michael Steele from the bangles was in the runaways as well.
“Voices carry” by ‘til Tuesday would be excellent for female Friday.
Great song!
Good call
You are so right. That’s a great song.

...thought this often...
Amber's reaction to when Lita starts really rocking is priceless
Now that you’ve heard Lita check out The Runaways. They were an all female hard rock band from the mid to late 70’s. Featuring two future legends Lita and Joan Jett.
I scrolled for this comment so I wouldn't have to type it myaelf.
Yes they should do cherry bomb
@@BlackCatAlley888 definitely that was their big song, though the video focuses on Cherrie you see Joan a little and Lita hardly at all. This video for school days features Joan and Lita in full badass mode. Oh and your screen name is great, love it.

@@Supernaut7430 Yeah I hear you, I had a friend back in the day who was the official Joan Jett fan club organizer who got a whole group of us gals free tickets to see her in concert then we all got to meet her afterwards, she is an amazing woman and very kind and appreciative of her fans. I also like your name Supernaut, which version of that song do you prefer, Black Sabbath, Ministry, or 1000 Homo Djs, there have been so many amazing covers, but I prefer 1000 Homo Djs cover, this is the kind of songs I wish the reaction people would listen too, some off wall obscure stuff instead of the same stuff. Seems all the reaction people react to the same artist. I try to suggest artist no other people are reacting to, if they started reacting to stuff no other reaction people are doing it would definitely set them apart from the others, but I’m so glad they are at least doing a female Friday
Agree with many of the comments. Lita Ford with Ozzy "CLOSE MY EYES FOREVER" Classic duet from 80's also a recent do over that is awesome. Also Susan Tedeschi has huge catelog! Rock, soul, country and GAMMY winning Blues album Revelator with husband Derek Trucks and thier band Tedeschi Trucks Band. Epic guitar solos in Tedeschi Trucks Band "I PITY THE FOOL" BOSTON 2017 OR "THE SKY IS CRYING" @ROYAL ALBERT HALL.
Close my eyes forever actually was from the 90s
THIS ! ! ! !
Yes please!!!
Add my vote for "Close my eyes forever"!!
Yess!!!! Please react to this song with Ozzy!!! “CLOSE MY EYES FOREVER!”
Yeah, you did Lita Ford the Queen of Metal. “Close My Eyes Forever” with Ozzy is an awesome Power Ballad. Vixen is another 80's all-female hairband. "Edge of a Broken Heart" and "Cryin"
...When you said, "Queen of Metal", I think you might have spelled "Doro Pesch" wrong,. Just sayin. 😏
Bon Jovi did a version of Edge of a Broken Heart
Vixen's written by Richard Marx & Fee Waybill. Bon Jovi's written by Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora & Desmond Child. Same title, different lyrics.
Lee Aaron is hands down and self proclaimed "Heavy Metal Queen"
I seen Vixen with Ozzy 2nd row they were great.
Probably the best female guitar player ever
Yes! Heart! Far better than any of the other female rockers of the 80s.
Vixen is an all-female "hair metal" band you can do on female Friday. Edge of a Broken Heart is the biggest hit.
I've been suggesting this group for months.
Or try How Much Love, Love Made Me, Or Cryin are all awesome songs by Vixen
Also the Vixen song I Want You to Rock Me.
@@michaeldavis6171 Me too Michael! We'll just have to keep at it until they listen I guess!
Vixen, yes pls! I'm def on this bandwagon!
She was in The Runaways (all female band)with Joan Jett when they were teenagers....Cherry bomb was the hit song for their band
She has a song with Ozzy Osbourne called "Close My Eyes Forever"
I say this every time I see this vid ,the only other band was VIXEN VIXEN ! Wow VIXEN !
I'm obsessed with Lita Ford as well!
The Pretenders/Chrissy Hynde.
"Chain gang" "Don't Get Me Wrong" "Kid"
"Brass in Pocket"
Her Voice is Amazing
Some other great female artist to react to is VIXEN - ON THE EDGE OF. A BROKEN HEART (Official Music Video) or CRYING (Official Music Video) this is a all female group! They rock too !
Absolutely Vixen!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thumbs up for Vixen and "Edge Of A Broken Heart", and I would add "Rev It Up" as well...
S.W.
@@steveweller3899 Femme Fatale
I loved Vixen
I was just going to say that Im watching the video now
Lita played all the guitar on that song , insane cool rock chick , I have no words !.
Saw Lita Ford in 83 when the song came out. I was mesmerized by her beauty and her guitar playing.
You absolutely need to see her duet with the great Ozzie Osborne, If I Close My Eyes Forever. Awesome song!
I just asked for Lita and Ozzy on the last song. This one will be ok too but the other one is bomb.
YES!!!!
Beat me to it. lol
My dad hated Ozzy, but he loved this song. :)
@@paulh9694 still comment it! Hoping they will see how many cimments reccomend this song.
I highly recommend Chrissy Hynde and the Pretenders. "Middle of the Road" is a great song to start with. But they have lots of great songs!
Waiting for more reactors to discover this band.
Brass in pocket 😋👍✌
"My City Was Gone" and "Back on the Chain Gang" are a couple great songs by The Pretenders that would do well on Female Friday.
"Chain Gang" is the best Pretenders song.
@@teresadavidson3706 I think Chain Gang is their best dance song but I'll Stand by You is their best song for me.
In the 80s, Lee Aaron had a couple of succesful albums. Vixen, Heart, Girlschool, Warlock/Doro are other options.
Don't forget Saraya and Femme Fatale.
There are many female rockers. Within temptation, OTEP, in this moment, Arch Enemy, Leaves' eye, We are the fallen, vixen, doro and many more.
In this moment!! Yes!! I just seen them a few weeks ago!! Also jinger!!!
Definitely need to listen to Lita Ford and Ozzy, "Close my eyes forever." Another female rock singer you'll like is Fefe Dobson. She's Canadian. Her two best songs are "Ghost, and Stutter!"
Yes!!
Don't forget about Heart. The Wilson sisters are amazing singers.
You mean the band that is on the wall on the right we cannot see any more?
Heart's stuff from the 70's rock, but their stuff in the 80's got that 80's pop makeover and it was not nearly as good as before.
@@twisted2291 Then why did the 80s stuff sell so much more and garner award nominations, unlike the earlier stuff?
@@mrbear1302 Because the majority of humans like the same thing as other humans. Just a fact. Most 80's music was bland, poppy, and all sounded the same. Lots of people eat at McDonalds - I guess that makes it health food?
@@melissas4874 go listen to your Ariana Grande, Doja Cat and Dua Lipa. Talk about sounding the same!
Rocking & Rolling with Lita Ford big time. This song kicks it hard.
Yes all us rocker boys in the 80's we're in love with Lita Ford...
Btw the instrument is a keytar,. More Lita!!
Patty Smyth “Warrior” would be a great Female Friday reaction.
Was that a solo artist song for her? I thought she was with Scandal for this one... (please don't read in a bitchy tone)
@@brucedonaldson3627 You're right Bruce! It is Scandal with Patty Smyth doing the lead vocals.
Also Patty Smyth ft. Don Henley - Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough as well as Scandal, Patty Smyth - Goodbye To You
this song and "Walkin on Sunshine" great female songs
Awesome song!
You MUST react to "Close My Eyes Forever", her power ballad with Ozzy Osbourne. I absolutely think it's her best song, and it shows a wider range of vocals and emotion.
She also did that song with Lzzy Hale that(‘s great
Wanted them to react to that song forever
Her 2 best versions of Close My Eyes Forever have to be first with Ozzy Osbourne and second with Lzzy Hale
Couldn't have said it better
Absolutely right! Close my eyes is a legendary song
From 1976 to 1979 she was the lead guitarist for the Runaways alongside Joan Jet.
She smashed the guitar , soo good ,
Quarterflash, "Harden My Heart" and "Find Another Fool" got regular air play on the radio in the early 80's.
It was YEARS after that song was a hit that I found out it was Rindy Ross playing the sax.
Would love to see a reaction to the live version of Harden My Heart. ua-cam.com/video/yseQr6DWD1Q/v-deo.html

"Went to a party last Saturday night, didn't get laid, got in a fight." Not just one of the best lines ever, but, for better or worse, influenced every choice I've ever made in my romantic life. Lol
You guys should check out "Edge Of A Broken Heart" by "Vixen", they are an all female 80's rock hairband!!!
70's and 80's had power houses of women Lita Ford, Pat Benetar , Stevie Nicks ( Queen of female singers rocker) Heart just a few.
Jordan, "That guitar was sick" and that's Lita playing that guitar!
When this song came out in 1989. I went out and got me one of those B.C. Rich Warlock Guitars after seeing the video. Cause it was bad ass looking, and Lita Rocked it.
@@twisted2291 Did you? That's cool. Are you a musician?
The thing about Lita is she is an amazing guitar player. Respected in the rock community
For a long time, it was a toss-up between Lita Ford and Nancy Wilson for the best female guitarist. So glad I grew up at the time that there were so many great acts about.
One word for late 1980s female metal is VIXEN !
Lita was my stay awake music when I was working night shifts. Back then I had it on cassette....she is amazing
Next Female Friday, you wanna rock, do VIXEN with “Edge of a Broken Heart”.
YES!
Or, Not a Minute Too Soon, Love Made Me, Desperate, Rev It Up, or Streets of Paradise. Can't go wrong with any of them.
Another suggestion for female friday, Scandal with Patty Smyth, The Warrior.
"Goodbye to You" from Scandal as well.
This is one of thousands I suggested . This was the first suggestion that they finally did. I also suggested Scandal with Patty Smyth, The Warrior.
Scandle... The Warrior... Is a great song!
Saw her at Mount Airy Casino a few years back. (We were in the elevator with her before the show). Didn't think we would enjoy it as much as we did. She had soooooo many songs that we had forgotten she did!! The show was great! The Warrior was fun but, my favorite of hers has always been Goodbye to You.
Finally! I was waiting this moment for a while. Lita has certainly paved the way for female guitarists for sure, but she is an extremely talented guitarist regardless of her genre.
I don’t know if you’ll will see this comment since this was from 2 years ago but another female rocker that was the lead singer of a hair band was Saraya. Their main hit was Love has taken its toll. They were from New Jersey but came at the end of the hair band era which is why they are not as well known.
Now that you've finally listened to Lita Ford and Joan Jett, you have to listen to Cherry Bomb by The Runaways because it's an all female band with both of them in it.
Still recommending Lee Aaron and Turn it Loud by Headpins with Darby Mills lead vocals. She has a killer powerful voice!
Hey I was about to recommend those two. You must be Canadian?
@@KB-mx3xv That I am! I saw Headpins a few years back, Darby Mills still has that powerhouse voice!
Yeah; but they both are guitarists not vocalists.......
They also did the bangles Mickie Steele was the bassist in the runsways
"In the hair metal era, were there any other female rockers?"
Yes! There was an all-female band called Vixen that had a hit called "Edge of a Broken Heart." It would make a great next stop!
Yes!! I’ve been suggesting them forever! Lol. 💕
I just suggest Vixen too!
... Doro Pesch!
Definitely echo the Vixen suggestion, love them!
@@redcaddiedaddie YES!!! WARLOCK!!! All We Are🤗🤗
I was 20 years old and in Love with Lita. I miss the 80s the girls with the big hair the music the best times of my life would go back in heartbeat even if for just one Friday night.
Had a picture of Lita Ford in my bedroom as a teenager in the 80's. She was my favorite female rocker back in the day
This is what made 80’s rock/hair metal so amazing. Look how fast Amber went to perma smile. The music is awesome and the bands were having fun. Amazing era of music.
Heart has alot of good songs, excellent female voice, Grace Slick also great female voice.
Yes. HEART enjoyed a rebirth in the late 80's.
@@m.vondrake5534 More like a bad makeover. Even they don't care for their 80's hits.
@@melissas4874 idk, their "reunion" shows they milked the heck out of "These Dreams", "If Looks Could Kill" and their cover of "Alone". NIGHTWISH does a fantastic rendition of "Alone" even tho only a NW side projects and a solo release by Floor Jansen can be found, when I saw them in San Francisco they did it near the end of their set.
@@m.vondrake5534 The sisters really didn't enjoy that rebirth much. They ended up firing mushroom records because of where the band image had gone. They had a few more rebirths too.. They were still touring when the current global situation began... or should I say touring again after several breaks and hiatuses.
@@HealthyDisrespectforAuthority I am well aware they're still a viable act. They say they didn't like the pop image yet they still cashed the checks and live off the royalties and make money when those songs get added to commercials and soundtracks. They wrote and produced most of those songs not their label. It was only when the grunge movement swung through that they tried to distance themselves from that image but they still preformed "If Looks Could Kill" in their sets but kept the less pop-sounding "Dog and Butterfly" out. They also got in trouble for trying to trick musicians out of songs and claimed some songs that didn't belong to them so they lost some clout within the musicians in the industry. Rather than take them to court, they spread the word. It doesn't take from what greatness they have achieved, even though the 80's. When you record one of the most popular albums of the decade, you're under great pressure to follow it up with a better album.
LITA IS BAD ASS!!!!!!!!
I just saw Lita in Texas last month! She STILL rocks hard!! She was awesome on guitar! She used to date & live with Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue. Check out Vixen or Joan Jett!
Johnette Napolitano (Concrete Blonde). One of the best music videos on youtube is her singing Everybody Knows (Live) with her guitar player on acoustic guitar. She played bass live, wrote most of the songs, did most of the album cover work. She is one of the best female rock vocalists ever.
Agree with everyone, you gotta do her duet with Ozzy "Close My Eyes Forever".
It doesn't get any more 80s than this
Saraya's Love Has Taken Its Toll, Healing Touch and the ballad Timeless Love are underrated eighties gems!
Sandi Saraya is amazeballs.
Haven’t seen The Motels mentioned. “Only The Lonely” would be a great female Friday tune.
Love the Motels! “Take the L” is my personal fav. “Only the lonely” was a huge hit.
"Mission of Mercy" is my personal favorite!
Also love "Suddenly Last Summer."
Outstanding suggestion!! LOVE Martha's voice!
YES!!!
Kiss Me Deadly! Her duet with Ozzy "Close My Eyes Forever" is a must! Next Female Friday request: "Edge Of A Broken Heart" by Vixen. "Shot Of Poison" and "Gotta Let Go" are two of her other hits.
She's a badass guitar player too....shes got a number of good songs... Dive deep....
Another cassette I used to blast in my car Good times, great memories 💕
If you guys haven't already, you need to check out The Runaways "Cherry Bomb". Lita Ford and Joan Jett on guitars, Cherie Currie on vocals. And they were all like 16 years old.
Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders) is an awesome rocker! She's from Akron, Ohio :)
My recommendations:
Brass in Pocket
My City is Gone (Live from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert - where she calls out cities in and around Akron and Cleveland)
Middle of the Road
Back on the Chain Gang.
Other 80s Women Rockers:
Bonnie Tyler - Holding Out for a Hero (the BEST), It's a Heartache, Total Eclipse of the Heart
Kim Carnes - Bette Davis Eyes
Sheryl Crow - There Goes the Neighborhood, Sweet Rosalyn. A Change Would Do you Good,
For some reason I always thought she was from England.....
I am having so much fun watching you guys. Lita Ford was in the Runaways. There has always been great female musicians
Lita ford was lead guitar for The runaways
Suzi Quattro, "48 Crash" is a monster 70's rocker; and Chrissie Hynde (with The Pretenders) in an 80's rocker with "Middle of the Road"--among others.
I second the Pretenders. Middle of the Road- good choice.
The Pretenders Ill stand by you is my favorite or Brass in pocket.
Oooh yes👏🏼 love me some Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders!
Definitely Chrissy Hynde and The Pretenders. I would recommend 2,000 Miles and Back On The Chain Gang.
@@donnagonatas3155 me too!!!
"Hair Metal" 80s females, just off the top of my head:
Vixen of course was an all female band with quite a few hits off their 1st two albums.
Femme Fatale had Lorraine Lewis as the singer (only 1 album and 2 singles to choose from but great songs). She's got a rasp to her voice you should love. She's the lead singer for Vixen now.
Saraya only had 1 real hit off their 1st album but Sandy Saraya had a great voice. Overall, their songwriting just needed to be better.
And no list is complete without the Metal Queen herself, Doro Pesch. She fronted the German metal band Warlock in the 80s and is still touring and sounding just as good to this day. She's never been big here in the States but in Europe has headlined the biggest music festivals in the world, including Wacken many times and has won numerous lifetime awards. Warlock's biggest hit was off the 1987 album Triumph & Agony (which also has one of the best album covers ever) and the song was All We Are. They lost all the momentum from that album when they split from the record label and manager and the manager won the rights, at the time, to the name Warlock. The next album is when she started using her own name, Doro. I've been lucky enough to know and be friends with her , the band, and the crew for about 12 years now. There's no better singer ever and definitely no better person you could ever meet.
That's just off the top of my head. In today's scene there's a lot of women to choose from and the best is coming from Europe. I could give you bands from Italy, Slovakia, Germany, and a number of them from Sweden, and that's just off the top of my head. Even though I grew up in the 80s and it was a very male chauvinistic business at the time, I've always loved women rockers.
LOL Dude, Vixen had exactly ONE hit. TOTAL.
Not the 80s but if you want hard rock females check out a song by the Donnas called “Take it Off”
@@philpennington826 if you check the numbers they had a few hits but if you didn't like their songs and didn't consider them hits, then that's your opinion so ok.
Dont forget Lee Aaron. I like "Metal Queen".
@@philpennington826 Which one?
Lita Ford is legendary she started out with the legendary Runaways all female band that included Cherrie Curry and Joan Jett. The current hardest female rockers is Liliac and Lizzy Hale.
Bless both you cuties for reacting to one of my longtime favorites. Lita Ford is fire!!!
Funny you should mention Joan Jett. This is after all THE Lita Ford of The Runaways. Honestly, if you really want to see Lita and Joan raw, checking out The Runaways is a sure bet. By the time the 80s rolled around they were growing up and toning things down just a bit. The Runaways were kind of like that wild teenage daughter that climbs out the window to hang with boys. Also, Heart is pretty much top tier when it comes to female rockers and Blondie- Detroit 442 will show you what a punk goddess looks like. Don't be fooled by Heart of Glass.
Also, not 80s, but more folks need to check out Veruca Salt.
There is also Suzi Quattro, who Joan Jett says inspired her.
Can’t believe had to go so far down in the comments about Joan, lots and the runaways
Back in the 80”s my roommate had most of the runaway albums
She was one of my favorites. My boys were 8 and 10 knew every song every word my oldest now is pushing 40 and if she comes on the radio and we're together forget it we go crazy, no shame in the joy and memories music give for a life time.
Lita Ford had all the rockers drooling bad a** guitar player.
Lita wasn’t just in The Runaways, She was the LEAD guitarist for the band. There is only one woman I know that rocked as hard as Lita, and that was Nancy Wilson from Heart, but, most of their heavy stuff ( Actually, all of it) came out in the 70’s. No one but Lita was doing shat she was doing in the 80’s. And, Amber, if you don’t think Pat Benatar rocked as hard as Lita, you need to listen to her first three albums. In particular, check out her anthem against child abuse, Hell is For Children.
Lita is a true rocker !! Love her !! She is still at it. Sounds and looks amazing !!
Amber - check out The Pretenders. Their lead singer Chrissy Hynde is definitely a rocker. Brass in Pocket, Middle of the Road, Don't Get Me Wrong.
Definitely. Great voice. Great songs....
Completely agree with Chrissy!
YES, Brass in Pocket!
Add "Back On The Chain Gang" to that list.
Los sigo desde Lima, Perú,... Y me encanta toda la movida de los 80 y 90....es un gusto sus comentarios de ustedes 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Lita Ford was not only my wet dream, every Rock-youngster in the 80's had a crush. Before she went solo she was a part of the all-female band The Runaways, with Joan Jett on vocals, who also became hughe when she did 'I Love Rock 'n Roll'.
Vixen was an all-ladies 80's band with a few hits like "Edge of a Broken Heart" and "Cryin' ". And hair even bigger than Poison!
There you go, Edge of a Broken Heart. Watch it, turn it up!
Vixen are one of the best and they are still rocking and doing live shows.
Alannah Myles is another great voice whom appeared in the 90s with her hit Black Velvet ! That song is worth a listen.
This song is so awesome....made it even better when I found out it was about Elvis 💗
She was the lead guitarist in Runaways
Many good suggestions already. Glad to see Saraya being mentioned a lot. They didn't take off like they deserved. "Love Has Taken It's Toll" was a great song. And Doro is still bringing the ROCK to this day. Vixen put out a couple really good albums.
I'll throw a single in "Everything You Do(Your Sexing Me)" by Kip Winger and Fiona. Her voice is just awesome smooth.
Featured heavily in the documentary, "Suzi Q", about the life and career of Suzi Quatro, who was a major influence on Lita's career. As I've said several times, Suzi Quatro is a MUST reaction. You cannot react to the 80s female rockers without acknowledging Suzi. She was a trailblazer...female singer fronting a band...as THE BASS PLAYER!
Suzi was a huge influence on Joan Jett too
Joan Jeff copied Suzi's hairstyle and wardrobe. She's featured in the documentary, too.
I LOVED Suzi Q!! I have no words
Agreed
Lita never claimed Suzi was an influence. You are thinking of Joan.
Bonnie Raitt. Great guitar player. Thing called love- great song/video. Love her older stuff more but this is good to intro.
Yes
Bonnie Raitt is an amazing slide guitar player. An absolutely amazing artist!
Lita ford went from being an amazing guitarist in the runaways to then being the same awesome guitarist AND she showed off her voice in a solo career! She’s one of the best female guitarists of all time! Love lita
I’m so happy you liked Lita Ford, I was waiting for that, she talented and underrated , but for extra on her check out the Runaways , with her and Joan Jet
Next female Friday you should do the group Yazoo aka Yaz. “Don’t Go”, “Situation”. Alison Moyet is a powerful vocalist. One of the best voices out there yet underrated. Every time I hear her sing, it’s spine chilling
I also love “Only You.” Simple but beautiful!
Upstairs at Eric's is a great album!
Tremendous talent. One of the best vocalists out there yet she doesn’t get the credit she so rightly deserves
Lita's still out there playing. A friend of mine, Bobby Rock, plays drums for her, and he's awesome.
I love Bobby Rock!!
@@snakecharm13 Everybody's heard Bobby Rock play drums they just don't know it.
My son was into Nelson when he was younger. Didn't he play with them.
Now how cool is that.
@@rebeccawyse5562 Back in 1981 through 1987 (I was a kid or college student) , I worked at a music store in Houston, and Bobby (B)Rock and Craig LeMay were drum teachers there. Both were awesome drummers and awesome people. Bobby was maybe 20 years old at the time, and he was an incredible drummer even then, and would jam with anybody that would invite him. I sat in with him in a country band in a pizza place one night.
You guy’s really know how to rock to this song! 😇
Lita Ford & Joan jett of the Runnaways both had great solo music , Lita nice nice 80's with Ozzy.. close my eyes 4ever....
Lita is the top female guitarist and is still out there playing concerts! Rock on Lita!
I saw her a couple of years ago. She was on tour with Bret Michaels. She's still amazing.
The crazy instrument Jordan is referring to is called a Keytar. It's a form of portable synthesizer.
Lita Ford was one of the original guitarists with Joan Jett in the 70's band the "Runaways" I saw her at the Agora Ballroom with Ratt and Twisted sister back in the 80's
Lee Aaron was awesom - "Watchya Do to my Body", "Some Girls Do"
Another suggestion for female Fridays would be The Cranberries “Zombie”
Lol, I have asked for this 7x, no luck yet
Yes! Cranberries Zombie!
Zombie is the most popular song by the Cranberries, for sure.
They. Have. Already. Done. Zombie!!!
They already reacted to this song, but it got blocked.
Could you please do female rockers from the 90s Veruca Salt???? They’re pretty under appreciated! Seether or maybe Volcano Girls???? They were amazing!
Also Suzi Quatro was one hard rocker! I loved Down on Devil Gate Drive!
Seether never fails to get me singing at the top of my lungs!
Veruca Salt - Seether

Patty Smyth
"The Warrior"
Another good rock song
So yes this is Lita's pop transformation. I think she got signed two Heart's management and they had a very good track record of taking artists from the 70s and Reinventing them for MTV. Lita's previous records are much heavier more focused on her badass guitar playing, and of course she was in The Runaways with Joan Jett back in the 70s. So they added 80s keyboards and a lighter feel to it and it took some clothes off of her and it seemed to work very well for a while. If you want some rocking that's a bit heavier checkout Lorraine Lewis's band FEMME FATALE ,I'm sure you can find the official video for "Waiting For The Big One"... it's a pretty good time.
Vixen. Living on the edge of a broken heart
