Fun facts on Alice. He is a preacher’s kid. He attends church regularly. He and his wife have been married 46 yrs. He’s hasn’t drank alcohol for 39 yrs, never smoked and doesn’t do drugs. He’s an avid golfer. He hosts golf tournaments for charity. His name is Vincent Furnier. He says Alice Cooper is his character on stage.
His song "School's Out" has been an anthem for the last 50 years that gets plenty of play every May/June--for obvious reasons. Some more of his classics include: "Under My Wheels" "No More Mr. Nice Guy" "I'm Eighteen" "Only Women Bleed"
Elected is a good one. I also really really liked 'The Last Temptation' album. I know it's not his most popular, but to me it hits the mark. Also, Billion Dollar Babies.
A friend of mine back when he was on high school was dared to test out the schools new security system. So he took the principal up on his challenge. He got into the school, put on a pot of coffee for the principal and swapped the national anthem for “Schools Out”. He waited for the principal in his office with his feet on his desk and said “good morning sir”. During opening exercises when the “anthem” started and it wasn’t. My friend got called to the office over the PA by his last name!
Guys Alice Cooper is 74 years old and lives in Phoenix Arizona, Alice Cooper is an American singer, songwriter, and actor whose career spans over 54 years. He has eleven Grammy nominations, two Grammys, and is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 2011. PS: he and Ozzy have been hard-core rocking the USA for a long time.
Alice Cooper is known as the Godfather of shock rock. It was originally the name of the band when they formed in 1964. When they broke up in 1975, lead singer Vincent Furnier adopted the name and commenced a long solo career. This song was 1989.
1989 was a huge year for comeback hits from artists after years - often many years - away from the Top 40. There was this one from Alice Cooper, "When The Night Comes" from Joe Cocker, "One" from the BeeGees, "The Doctor" from the Doobie Brothers, "This Time I Know It's For Real" from Donna Summer, "Call It Love" from Poco, "Soldier Of Love" from Donny Osmond, "Wind Beneath My Wings" from Bette Midler, "You Got It" from Roy Orbison, "Put A Little Love In Your Heart" from Al Green (with Annie Lennox), "Room To Move" from Animotion, "That's The Way" from Katrina & The Waves, "When I See You Smile" from John Waite (with Bad English), "Don't Know Much" from Aaron Neville (with Linda Ronstadt), plus "When I'm With You" from Sheriff, which had disbanded by the time they hit #1.
Alice Cooper started the whole "Shock Rock" genre without him there wouldn't be Marilyn Manson. He has loads of hits to look into. His most popular one is "School's Out", it was always played on the bus on the last day of school back in the day, it was an actual tradition.
Alice Cooper (real name: Vince Furnier) is a local hero. He was born in my hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, went to high school here, and is the only rock legend I've actually MET. He's the nicest guy you could meet, willing to talk sports or music with anybody, anytime. And the dude is WICKED funny. "Poison" is one of his biggest hits, but he's probably best known for "School's Out", a song every teenager learned to sing as summer vacation approached. Thanks for reacting!
He was a D.J., there, too. He had "Nights with Alice Cooper", on the local Rock station. He had Cooperstown, for a while. I heard about it, when I lived there, but never got to go and eat there.
@@RayfordRaySiegel I did get to eat there. Great food, lots of music and baseball memorabilia. It's still there, in downtown Phoenix, not far from where the Diamondbacks play their home games.
"Poison" (released 17 April 1989) was Alice Cooper's 1st Top !0 Single since "You and Me" in 1977. Alice Cooper is best known for early 1970's hits like "I'm Eighteen (1970), '"School's Out" (1972), "Elected" (1972), and "No More Mister Nice Guy" (1973).
Yeah, Alice actually had a bunch of "you've got to hear this" songs. Unfortunately, for me, Poison is a little far down that list. I'd add the deeper but still well-known tracks, Billion Dollar Babies and Welcome to My Nightmare.
While Alice is best known for his hard rocking songs like “welcome to my nightmare “, “schools out “, “eighteen”, he had is biggest successes with his ballads “you and me”, “only women bleed”.
@@brianl8481 indeed.. he sang it to Miss Piggy. That was my intro to Alice Cooper when I was 10 years old. I've been hooked ever since and was front row center for his show on my 19th birthday.
Alice's Cooper has been around a long time and is still going strong. His show is one of the best live acts you'll ever see. Welcome to my Nightmare is my favourite Album, especially the dialogue by Vincent Price.
Other Great songs by Alice Cooper you may enjoy are: Schools Out, I'm 18, I never Cry, Feed MY Frankenstein, Hey Stoopid and many others. Alice was the orginal shock rocker before Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie.
Alice Cooper: The King of shock rock: - Pardon me - Feed my Frankenstein - Schools put - Hey stupid - loves a loaded gun - No more Mr nice guy - I'm eighteen - Welcome to my Nightmare Just to name a few great songs
Alice is still touring! He also has an evening syndication fm radio show every night. He knew everybody in the rock business. And he is a great golfer!!
Wife here..Loved Loved This tune in the eighties..My Husband digs his earlier hits..Interesting fact..Kip Winger of Winger fame of late eighties started with Alice Cooper!!..(Bassist)..Mr. Cooper encouraged Kip Winger to go out on his own!! So Cool!!..My Husband and I were fortunate enough to meet Kip Winger...Great Guy!!
Two tidbits… Poison isn’t about a girl. It’s a song about alcohol addiction. It sounds like a love song but it’s a warning. Alice Cooper was in one of my all time favorite horror movies called “Prince of Darkness.” It’s not for the faint of heart but it’s a really cool 80s horror movie. So many cool Alice Cooper songs to check out! I’m Eighteen, Schools Out, Welcome To My Nightmare, and Feed My Frankenstein are some of his more known songs but you should really checkout the song Brutal Planet.
Sorry but his song tltled album Brutal Planet was too heavy and thrash metal for my taste although I kinda liked the ballad Take It Like A Woman off it
That makes sense. Back in the day when this first came out I thought it was about a woman. Singing about a relationship that he knows is bad for him, she's poison to him, but he's addicted to her and can't leave her.
Cooper is sometimes called the Grandfather of Punk. He has inspired many, many artists (like KISS, Rob Zombie, etc) and has a very good catalog, especially his stuff from 1972-1978. Try Welcome To My Nightmare, Billion Dollar Babies, School's Out and No More Mister Nice Guy.
He dresses like a nightmare but he's got a great sense of humor, you hear that more in School's Out. He's got a song called Go to He** and yes he's taking to you, but it's funny. At least I think so. Anyway this is one of his more modern, polished songs, his earlier songs are more gritty and rebellious.
Under my wheel, Only Women Bleed, No More Mr. Nice Guy and, of course, School's Out are fantastic Alice Cooper tunes. So glad you enjoyed him and weren't freaked out. Another slow one is You and Me. Great tune.
Alice Cooper Band recorded their 1st album (Pretties For You) in 1969. They were a 5 man band, Alice, Glun Buxton (Lead guitar), Michael Bruce (Rhythm guitar), Dennis Dunaway (Bass) & Neal Smith (Drums). They recorded their 7th and final album (Muscle Of Love) in 1973. Those 5, were on of the greatest rock bands ever. I do love this song and many of his solo recordings.
If you haven't heard School's Out, then you haven't heard Alice Cooper's signature song! But he has so many great songs, some heavy rocking and quite a few mellow ones as well. If you want to hear some very mellow music from Alice Cooper, you can check out I Never Cry or You and Me. Those songs are completely 100% opposite from this one.
Alice Cooper is a legendary shock rocker whose stage theatrics include chainsawing doll babies, cutting his own head off with a guillotine, and having a mock Frankenstein lab that reanimates a corpse! His stage shows are amazing and his songs are as well. Please do a review of "The Ballad of Dwight Fry", "School's Out", "I'm Eighteen", "Only Women Bleed", "Hello, Hooray", "Feed My Frankenstein", "Billion Dollar Babies", "No More Mister Nice Guy", and "Bed of Nails", "
Alice's persona and theatrical show overshadow the fact that he makes some great music. His band is always composed of musicians at the top of their game. No matter what he's performing, Alice is never, ever boring.
I love this song. Alice was 25 Years into his career when he released this album. He's Back (the man behind the mask), School's Out, Feed My Frankenstein.... All amazing. The original Shock Rocker!
Some of Alice's best songs are as follows: Feed My Frankenstein (can be heard in Wayne's World); He's Back (can be heard in Friday the 13th: Pt 6); School's Out for the Summer; No More Mr. Nice Guy (can be heard in the remake of the movie Dark Shadows); Only Women Bleed (also done by female rocker, Lita Ford), and I'm Eighteen.
@@tamiramos5873 that's straight up an argument from population logical fallacy. Do you think floor is a better singer than let's say, lady gaga? Because what you just said means lady gaga is a better singer because she has more fans...when technically, floor is actually better based on having a larger skill set, the size of their fan base is irrelevant. Just because more people believe something to be true, doesn't change whether it's true or not. Since opinion is subjective, it's not useful in a skill-based analysis. I was simply saying their best (objectively based on skill required) songs are not those you mentioned, they are just the most popular.
Alice Cooper when he got clean and rededicated his life to Jesus, he did a whole album on that subject, which is really good called "The Last Temptation". I love the last lines of the last song on the album called "Cleansed by Fire"... Yeah, what about me, little me You lose and I win You couldn't suck me in It's over, you have no power You're lost And I'm found And I'm Heaven bound Go back to where you belong To where you fell Go to hell
Us teens didn't realize back then that there were some rockers and music artists from the 70s (and even 60s) making a comeback in the late 80s. This hit from Alice Cooper was one of them.
So many have said so much about him already here. He is one of my all time favorites. His album written with Elton John lyricists Bernie Taupin “From The Inside” is a forgotten classic that I have always enjoyed ! “Killer” and “Billion Dollar Babies” are probably my best liked…. But I have the whole catalogue. Regrettably I was only able to see him in concert from “Special Forces” tour onward, so I missed the original Alice Cooper band which could not be beat (although I like his current guitarist). Hope you cover A LOT more Alice !
So many songs by Alice Cooper worth giving a listen, one I haven't seen in the comments is Only women bleed. I started following Alice in the late 60's he is a icon. His music still strong on radio after 50 plus year's.
His live concerts are a theatre show of awesomeness!!! Last time I saw him live it was an outdoor venue & it blew my mind. ALICE COOPER is 1 of our Rock Gods.
“Alice” is a super nice guy. It really comes through during his interview concerning Glen Campbell’s passing. They were great friends and his recounting of their picture taken by photo radar and still hanging on the wall at the Scottsdale Police Department is great.
“I want to hurt you just to hear you calling my name”. One of my favorite lines ever in a rock song! Imagine wanting someone so bad that you’d do anything to hear her say your name….even if it’s pain. Thank you so much for reacting to this and pointing out that line! Just saw him in concert with Ace Frehley (Kiss) 2 years ago. Man is in his 70’s and still puts on a “killer” show!
Alice Cooper was my mom's favorite Rocker ever. Growing up listening to her music. I knew every word to Cold Ethyl at the age of 4 , a disturbing song about having sex with the dead ! No child that young should've even heard the song , much less have it memorized. This was off his Trash album which was his career comeback .he released Trash while I was in High School. I love Alice. That man is a God live onstage. Have seen him in concert 4 times. Always an incredible, amazing show.
There's a song that I recently discovered, sung by a band that I never heard of that I thought would be perfect for him to cover. Have you heard "Timothy", by The Buoys?
He has so many great songs he has been around since the early 70’s and is still around . Here is a few songs you and me is a softer side and strange side is Feed my Frankenstein and welcome to my nightmare and only women bleed
One if the nicest guys I've ever met! I've met quite a few musicians and he's seriously just a cool person...very down to earth. You want some screaming..."School's Out For Summer" and "Feed My Frankenstein"
I would recommend “Fire” by the Mad World of Arthur Brown. This song form the late ‘60s was groundbreaking and very influential on a lot of the artists you have played.
I have an Alice Cooper story. The summer before their first album was released, they played a free concert, at night, on the Mall in Washington DC. At the end of "Black Juju", after a long instrumental section in which Alice and the other band members snaked in and out, back and forth, Alice sprung forward, front and center, threw up his arms and shouted, "Black juju". From his right hand erupted a rocket, which streaked high into the sky. The crowd went wild. I think all eyes but mine where on the stage. I followed the rockets trajectory as it burnt out, arced over and descended through the limbs of a tree and crashed into the back of the neck of a hefty, balding middle age man in bermuda shorts, knocking him forward a step and sending a huge shower of sparks down in front of his shirt. I honestly think I was the only witness.
Thanks to Desmond Child for this classic! Alice kept hearing his songs on the radio (''Heaven's On Fire'', ''You Give Love a Bad Name'', ''Livin' On a Prayer'', ''I Hate Myself For Loving You'', ''Dude Looks Like a Lady'', ''Angel'') and wanted it too! He got together with Desmond and the rest is history.
He did an album called "Tales From the Inside." It was inspired by the time he voluntarily spent in a treatment facility, (some say insane asylum). You need to listen to that album from start to finish to really understand it, but the song on it that stands out to me is titled "How You Gonna See Me Now." Alice is generally known as a rocker, but people forget just how many hits he had with his ballads. This song showcases a softer side, and show off just what a great voice he has.
I remember him talking about that and saying he was the only one in there for alcoholism and everyone else was in there for...as he put it...killing their grandmother and making a pie out of her.
His older music gained a resurgence in the late 80s, so he released a new album. This was one of the singles off of it. Brought him a whole new wave of fans about 10 to 15 years younger than his original fan base. I've been lucky enough to see him in concert recently and he still kicks ass.
"School's Out" is easily his most iconic song. That really is where you should go next with Alice Cooper. Even people who aren't fans of anything else Cooper did still like/love that song. Heck, people who don't even know who Alice Cooper is often still know that song. You'll get it when you hear it. Even if you haven't heard the song yet, you may have heard clips of it in commercials, movies, video games, or samples by other artists (including rap and house/dubstep).
I love Alice Cooper!!! I've seen him live too, he's awesome! Super nice guy IRL too. Love the album this is from too, has 2 other hits on it: House of Fire & Only My Heart Talkin. You gotta do Schools Out, Eighteen, Hey Stoopid, Feed My Frankenstein... so many! AC was the original Shock Rocker, he paved the way for Kiss, Rob Zombie, Gwar, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, he was the OG of all of that Metal that is closely tied to Horror.
Alice is one of a kind, really. Great showman, excellent lyricist, fabulous songwriter, surprisingly good singer. He’s the whole package and always has been. I’m glad folks are finally getting around to reacting to his stuff.
He was very good friends with Glen Campbell, an artist you've yet to react to, so here are three to get you going: "Wichita Lineman" "Gentle on the Mind" "Rhinestone Cowboy"
Man...what a music icon/legend..his concerts were theatrical bliss...it was actually called the "Alice Cooper show" absolutely love his early songs..with special appearance by Vincent Price. This song came late in his career, but still pure Alice..my favorite is the ballad of Dwight Fry...and a string of live ballads..how ya' gonna see me now...great artist...
Alice Cooper’s friend, Arthur Brown, was more shocking than Alice. “Fire” by Arthur Brown is something you have to see.. Live version includes his head being on fire. It’s a great song as well. Many people Will remember and comment on it.
Alice is a rock icon and is still kickin A performing at 74 years young... Saw him the 1st time in 1976 and numerous times since..... No more Mr. niceguy.....schools out....Im 18, and under my wheels are among my favorites . check them out, oh and I'l never cry and only women bleed
"Alice has MANY great songs from his career ( especially in the 70's), but a personal favorite video I would love to see you reacting to is the song " FREEDOM" off of his " Raise your fist and yell" Album.
Poison is a great song to react to. I recommend a concert video of Feed My Frankenstein. I have seen Alice 2X and Feed My Frankenstein is my favorite part. Alice has a very extensive catalog of songs.
Alice Cooper is indeed his own rabbit hole. You just started with this song. You want a next Alice Cooper song as teachers you all need to do School's Out.
He has a really fun theatrical stage presence, a great performer. I don't know much about his background but he always seems like really good guy in real life. Love his Hollywood Vampires band (Johnny Depp should have listened to this song right when he met Amber Heard!!😱 She's poison if ever there were a truer description poor guy)
Alice started performing in 1964, over 50 years ago. I saw him in 1969 & that guy is still performing today. He is in a band called Hollywood Vampires with Johnny Depp that has more of this type music. Alice was one of the first guys to ever do the eye make hp. A trail blazer
Alice Cooper actually has a quite beautiful voice and he highlights this in has many ballads, Try any one if these and you will be floored, 1 I never cry 2.You and me or 3.How ya gonna see me now..
Old Alice songs might be better... "Schools Out" "I'm Eighteen" "No More Mr.Nice Guy" "Only Women Blood" "Cold Ethyl" "Billion Dollar Babies" Are a few Alice songs that are great. Great job as usual... And Rob Zombie is like Alice Cooper.
This is a milder track from Alice Cooper, try the earlier stuff, 'Sick Things', 'Billion Dollar Babies', 'School's Out', 'Elected', 'I Love The Dead', etc. 🙂
You HAVE to check out his song "Hey Stoopid" ... a rockin' sound, an anti-drug message, and guest appearances by Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, and legendary guitarist Joe Satriani!
alice cooper paved the way for rob zombie and marilyn manson he was shocking audiences before ozzy was biting the heads off bats glad he still going strong
I LOVE SOME ALICE!!! This was THE stripper song back in the day...The real gems are from the 70s...No More Mr Nice Guy, Desperado, Welcome To My Nightmare, The Black Widow, Muscle Of Love, Go To Hell, Cold Ethel, Dead Babies, Raped & Freezin'...too many uberclassics to list really...I've seen him in concert many times...always a professional showman...
Marilyn Manson totally copied him...Rob Zombie was inspired by him. When I was a little kid he scared me, but it's 100% a stage act. He's actually a Christian now.
"No More Mr. Nice Guy", "I'm 18", "Under My Wheels" - those are good songs for you to ease into before tackling any of his "weirder" stuff Oh and I've been a HUGE AC fan since I was 7 y.o. - when "Welcome to My Nightmare" came out & he did a Late Nite special of it. Long before MTV or the internet!
Alice Cooper is an icon. Started in the mid-60's and is still touring and recording albums today. One of my favorite bands in the 70's, his "Welcome To My Nightmare" tour was legendary (with Alice in his blackened eyes face make up, he performed a song while in a straight jacket (The Ballad Of Dwight Fry), and with a live boa constrictor, he was hanged on stage as well as having his head guillotined off, and had stage monsters like giant spiders and all kinds of creepy stuff). He adopted his stage persona after he realized that there was no villain in rock at the time, so he became the character of Alice Cooper. In real life, Alice is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. He is a devout Christian and credits Jesus for saving him from dying from alcoholism, and for being faithful to his wife of over 40 years. He also helps inner city kids with his youth centers were they teach underprivileged kids music and a lot of other skills and assistance. Alice is the Man!!!!
This is my absolute favorite Alice Cooper song by Miles and miles! And I know, I know, he had a lot of more popular songs than this back in the '70s, but this song was a mid-80s banger.
I loved the look on both your faces when he began singing! You both were just in shock. And you know that means Alice did everything he intended on doing. He and Ozzie were the 1st "dark" singers out there and everybody fell in love with them. His shows were like going to see a live play. Very theatrical. Yes do Schools out on your last day. You have probably heard it but didn't know who it was. It's probably played in 80% of schools throughout the country in some way on the last day.
I had the pleasure to meet Alice Cooper at a charity golf tournament, he's great golfer my only regret is that he didn't play in his stage makeup. Then met him again at a halloween show he did with Rob Zombie and both times he was cool as could be.
You have to hear The Black Widow with intro by Vincent Price! He did this back in the 70's, long before Micheal Jackson got him to do the rap in Thriller! Micheal took what Alice had been doing (on stage no less) amped it up and did Thriller! Gene Simmons from Kiss admired freely that when they saw Alice they thought if one guy could do that imagine 4 guys doing it! His live shows are great (Check out the video for Teenage Frankenstein for a cool glimpse into his show. There's even a little magic slight if hand to be seen!) He did a Friday the 13th tune for the movie with He's back! The man behind the mask. And let's not forget his ballads, Only Women Bleed (about domestic abuse) and How are you going to see me now (a song to his wife he wrote while sobering up in a mental institution. There was no Betty Ford when Alive first tried to clean up, he had to go extream!) So many huge hits, welcome to my nightmare, no more Mr. Nice guy, I'm 18, I want to be elected, the department of youth. All great songs
Alice Cooper was a name I had heard of growing up as he was one of the edgiest rock performers of his time, said to be the first to bring the horror genre flavor truly into rock and roll. Some of his hits were in regular rotation on the classic rock stations even back then but he seemed to be someone from the past, before my time. Then in 1989 he dropped this song on his album Trash, which was the exact opposite of the name, a terrific album with some great and wild music on it. He blew into the metal scene and reminded us all he started the deal. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011 and very deservedly so.
Poison also mean breaking up or staying away from a big addiction(drinking, drugs, smoking, sex etc.). I wasn't sold on Alice Cooper until one day friends brought me to one of his concert, been hooked ever since. Each song on stage has a theatrical scene, if you love theatre this group is for you it has it all. Double Awesome !
I've seen him perform live on Wacken (Germany) and in a meet and greet he's really an awesome humble guy. His daughter is indeed in his band (guitar). My favorite part about him is a quote i still have on a poster in my living room "Drinking beer is easy. Thrashing your hotel room is easy. But being a Christian, that's a tough call. That's rebellion." His lines helped me tremendously. I'm a Christian myself, but also partly transgender. Accepting myself has been a long hard ride, but with people like Alice Cooper around, i know i'm not alone in my battles.
ALICE COOPER was around just before KISS and was the first to introduce his look to the public. My best memory having attended only 1 concert was having a massive headache and not hearing well at all for about three days because of their insane performance volume (...which is now regulated at each venue ...).

You have to do Halo of flies, it's the older music of Alice Cooper.
Jay will love it is old school hard rock.
I think it's his best.
Yeah, Alice actually had a bunch of "you've got to hear this" songs. Unfortunately, for me, Poison is a little far down that list. I'd add the deeper but still well-known tracks, Billion Dollar Babies and Welcome to My Nightmare.
You and me & School's out are damn good songs aswell 🎇
While Alice is best known for his hard rocking songs like “welcome to my nightmare “, “schools out “, “eighteen”, he had is biggest successes with his ballads “you and me”, “only women bleed”.
My 2 favourites for sure 😀
♥ You and me is one of the most beautiful songs ever, weirdly it's very rare to hear about (8 0
Alice Cooper is a living legend with a huge library of great music. His live show is still my favorite concerts ever
Now for a completely different side of Alice Cooper, listen to “You and me” from 1977. One of the sweetest love songs ever ❤️
This song doesn't get the respect it deserves.
I was about to recommend this one too. I think it’s one of his best. Luckily I have a back up song. Lol
"I Never Cry" is my favourite by him. Another under rated ballad.
And he did that one on The Muppets too.
Next should definitely be "Feed My Frankenstein".
Welcome to My Nightmare! and yes, Feed My Frankenstein.
Billion dollar babies
Rob Zombie wishes he was Alice Cooper...
Alice Cooper is a rock legend and an amazing human being!
Alice has a super group also. The Hollywood Vampires. Which is mainly Him (Alice Cooper) Joe Perry of Aerosmith and Johnny Depp who is AMAZING!!.
Alice Cooper: The King of shock rock:
- Pardon me
- Feed my Frankenstein
- Schools put
- Hey stupid
- loves a loaded gun
- No more Mr nice guy
- I'm eighteen
- Welcome to my Nightmare
Just to name a few great songs
Alice is still touring! He also has an evening syndication fm radio show every night. He knew everybody in the rock business. And he is a great golfer!!
He is also part of the Hollywood Vampires with Joe Perry and Johnny Depp and a few others who are tour as well.
Yeah, isn't he a scratch golfer? And by all accounts, a really genuine, warm, friendly guy.
Alice was doing "Goth" before anyone knew what that was. He was all into this style and it drove his music. Good artist.
YES! Welcome to My Nightmare!
It may be about alcohol addiction, but it fit's my ex to a T !
His masterpiece is Only Women Bleed...but Poison is a close second.
Also his softer stuff - You and Me - How you gonna see me now - Only Women Bleed
His old stuff is classic
I get a kick out of peoples reaction to "Mary Ann", the ending line always throws them for a loop
Emmanuel makes some very good song choices to follow up with.
Under my wheel, Only Women Bleed, No More Mr. Nice Guy and, of course, School's Out are fantastic Alice Cooper tunes. So glad you enjoyed him and weren't freaked out. Another slow one is You and Me. Great tune.
All my Faves Tim!
The radical left says men bleed...
Amen brother they need to listen to the classics
Alice Cooper wrote this during his struggle with alcoholism, and refers to substance dependency.
Don't forget about "Hell is Living Without You"!!!
Alice puts on one of the best live shows you'll ever see. If he's playing near you go along, you won't regret it.
And Steven.
@@maxzzyzx8038 Yes, I think that Steven is his creepiest song.
@@RoarOfWolverine my fav
Alice's persona and theatrical show overshadow the fact that he makes some great music. His band is always composed of musicians at the top of their game. No matter what he's performing, Alice is never, ever boring.
Just saw him in concert last September. He is still rockin on and has one of the best female guitarists around.
Nita is amazing
I didn't see cooper until about 7 years ago. His show is one of the best. I have seen him 4 times since. My young daughter absolutely loved it.
Nah, they are his most popular songs. His best songs are dead babies and billion dollar Baby.
Can't go wrong when Alice sings about babies.
@@musicointempero2256 Popular usually means best because more people liked them for them to have become popular.
Ballad of dwight fry is also great and in Dark Shadows too.
Alice Cooper when he got clean and rededicated his life to Jesus, he did a whole album on that subject, which is really good called "The Last Temptation". I love the last lines of the last song on the album called "Cleansed by Fire"...
Yeah, what about me, little me
You lose and I win
You couldn't suck me in
It's over, you have no power
You're lost
And I'm found
And I'm Heaven bound
Go back to where you belong
To where you fell
Go to hell
A message to the Devil.
Victory through Jesus!
Us teens didn't realize back then that there were some rockers and music artists from the 70s (and even 60s) making a comeback in the late 80s. This hit from Alice Cooper was one of them.
Alice has been making music since the mid 60’s. He influenced KISS, if you can believe that. Great live shows!
I believe. Especially where the makeup is concerned
Billion Dollar Babies for sure!
So many songs by Alice Cooper worth giving a listen, one I haven't seen in the comments is Only women bleed. I started following Alice in the late 60's he is a icon. His music still strong on radio after 50 plus year's.
Thank you for playing Poison. This is my favorite Alice Cooper song. Alice is awesome.
You have to go back 50 years and check out some of Alice's original work in the early 70s. School's Out, 18 and so many others.
@@RayfordRaySiegel never heard of them.
@@talon7132,
Listen to the song. It's messed up. After listening to it, check out who wrote it. You would never think it was written by that person.
Extremely well written, composed and produced song. Desmond Child had a great hand in it.
Crazy world of Arthur Brown.
I've seen Alice and his band 4 times in concert over the years, and he never disappoints! Always the best and he loves his fans.
Great album. So many great songs👏👏👏
I was in grade 7 when this song was released and it remains one of my favourite songs to blast while driving by myself so I can belt it out!
I was just thinking you should do Alice Cooper. Should listen to Eighteen. Only Women Bleed. He does have a radio show. It's pretty good.
I totally forgot about 'Only Women Bleed'. So deep.
I was just thinking about that. I remember seeing him talking about Glen Campbell, on the documentary, about his Alzheimer's disease.
Add By the Time I Get to Phoenix to that list, too
Glen could play anything. A member of the famous Wrecking Crew.
@@adamsher2538 Even the bagpipes - have you heard him do Mull of Kintyre?
Glen Campbell was one of the greatest guitarists!
"How are you gonna see me now" is a whole other dimension of his voice. Definitely a must.
Talk about a contrast song! I love it!
"You and Me"
I absolutely LOVED how you both kind of leaned back in fear when he started singing.
Alice Cooper’s friend, Arthur Brown, was more shocking than Alice.
“Fire” by Arthur Brown is something you have to see.. Live version includes his head being on fire. It’s a great song as well. Many people Will remember and comment on it.
Don't let people dictate you what to listen to. This is why i love reactions. The ability to learn what you would love.
72 years young, married 46 year with 3 kids....and still performs!
His wife danced in his concerts and now his daughter does.
Y'all should check out "Feed My Frankenstein", by him, too.
Please recycle
I'm wondering who will get that.
Alice Cooper is a freakin' champ!!!! Still putting on killer shows in his 70's! Keep digging into his catalog; so many fantastic tunes!!!
Old Alice songs might be better...
"Schools Out"
"I'm Eighteen"
"No More Mr.Nice Guy"
"Only Women Blood"
"Cold Ethyl"
"Billion Dollar Babies"
Are a few Alice songs that are great.
Great job as usual...
And Rob Zombie is like Alice Cooper.
Feed My Frankenstein is one of my favorites by him.
Yes....Cold Ethyl, great song.
Second coming/Ballad of Dwight Frye and Halo of Flies is great
@@ronaldtiracchia2017 Halo of Flies ! The best.
He’s been around since early KISS! He spans multiple decades. LEGEND!
Marilyn Manson totally copied him...Rob Zombie was inspired by him. When I was a little kid he scared me, but it's 100% a stage act. He's actually a Christian now.
"No More Mr. Nice Guy", "I'm 18", "Under My Wheels" - those are good songs for you to ease into before tackling any of his "weirder" stuff
Oh and I've been a HUGE AC fan since I was 7 y.o.
Cooper's new band Hollywood Vampires is rockin' a tour right now!
Everything Alice is worth reacting to. PLEASE do more!
This is my absolute favorite Alice Cooper song by Miles and miles! And I know, I know, he had a lot of more popular songs than this back in the '70s, but this song was a mid-80s banger.
My son loved this song when he was 5 years old, back in 1989. We are going together to see Alice in Leeds, England on 1st June 🎼🎵😄🤟
One of the loveliest men in the music industry, he's the father of the rock industry in the US and lead the way!
To watch a full concert of his is wildly entertaining! Uses lots of props and special effects!
I had the pleasure to meet Alice Cooper at a charity golf tournament, he's great golfer my only regret is that he didn't play in his stage makeup. Then met him again at a halloween show he did with Rob Zombie and both times he was cool as could be.
You’ll find Alice Cooper on the golf course on the weekdays, in concert on Friday, and Saturday and at church on Sunday.
Alice Cooper had many great songs in the 70's that are classics now. Desperado, ballad of Dwight Fry, Lord of the Flies Under my Wheels...
Woo! More Alice! He has such a treasure trove of brilliant songs.
Ahhhhhhhhh - LOVE him - Alice Cooper is wonderful - thank you SO much - he's actually been on the Muppet Show and had SUCH fun too
ALICE COOPER was around just before KISS and was the first to introduce his look to the public. My best memory having attended only 1 concert was having a massive headache and not hearing well at all for about three days because of their insane performance volume (...which is now regulated at each venue ...).
