  • Sprite Pork Adobo is a Filipino Pork Adobo version that uses lemon lime soda. You can also use 7Up and other similar soda for this recipe. This results in a delicious Pinoy Pork Adobo that is a bit on the sweet side. It can be enjoyed with a cup of warm white rice.
    I always cook a huge batch of adobo during the weekend and keep it in the freezer afterwards so that I have something to eat when needed. This can kept in the freezer for a month. Simply thaw and reheat when you feel like having the dish for either lunch or dinner. This works also well for breakfast. You can serve it with fried egg or boiled egg on the side.

    Mainit ang ulo ko at naglagay ako ng sprite sa tahong na niluluto ko ... taena ang sarap ... kaya ginawa ko itong adabo ko pero yang style mo with sprite ... anak ng teteng, ang sarap din ... :)
    BTW, Im living alone now in UK kaya need kong matutong magluto ... :)
    Next project ko yung Bicol express mo at binaboy ng bagoong ... :)

    I am an HRM student but I have never been interested in cooking dishes simply because I'm literally bad at it. Then I started watching your videos... 4 years of learning theories at school but in a span of months just viewing these videos, I began to personalize recipes and familiarized it. Now, I cook for my family, 3 times a day most of the time. My husband doesn't need to hire a cook. hahaha. I'm very happy. Cheers, more videos.

    This is good addition to adobo, soda can tenderize the meat and also gives different flavor, you can also try using coconut juice/water instead od using plain water

    I modified this due to ingredients missing at home I used Savory Rice Vinegar and Mushroom Soy sauce and reduced it until dryer it was amazing on Rice. 10/10 will do again. thank you for the idea and recipe Panlasang Pinoy

    I have tried another version of that adobo but this is new kuya! Dati i was always thinking maybe i can put soda on adobo because most of the time i cook may softdrinks ako iniinom haha. Finally naconfirm na pwede pala! Salamat po! Thanks din sa tempura tutorial niyo cause i love to cook shrimps in different ways.
