🌻The Best Pork Adobo Recipe
1 kilo poek liempo
1 head garlic
1 medium size onion
1 tsp peppercorns
1/3 cup vinegar + i added another half of 1/3ds
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 big laurel leaf- you can use as much as you want
1 cup water + i added another 1/2 cup
🌻How to cook
• sabay na ilagay ang bawang at sibuyas at peppercorns at pag mantikain ang karne
• pag nag mantika na siya, ilagay na ang suka at toyo, takpan, dapat medium heat lang
• pag kumulo na, lagyan ng sugar, laurel at tubig
takpan at hayaang kumulo ng dahan dahan ng 15 to 20 mins, chech niyo din po time to time para di matuyuan ng sarsa.
• check niyo kung ok na ang lasa at lambot, kung di pa ok mag adjust nalang po kayo

@Zhana Adding hotdogs to some meals is more of a "filler." It's more economical to add that than say more pork or beef. As for adding sugar to most meals, Traditional dishes never used to "require" adding sugar to them. Filipinos, over time, have acquired the taste for sweetness and have slowly added it to most dishes. I blame recent western influence...America, to be exact.
