TYLER! Apple needs to pay you for showcasing their new camera in the best possible light. Incredible photos! And videos! Can you just do more “travel vlogs” with exclusively one camera?
Fotografiile sunt bune videourile sunt bune, dar sunt numai statice. Camera tot timpul asta pe loc, Sau pe ghimble, Așadar, Nu se vede efectul de mișcare.
@@streetrider4020 @streetrider4020 Neither the features demonstrated in the video, nor the quality of results were there before this release. Everything is new: the whole experience and the results are new. What do you expect from a "new" camera? What do you recommend?
I think I spent the entire 24:46 minutes of this video thinking to myself “no f*cking way”. Absolutely unbelievable how much you take out of this camera.
Machu Picchu practically sells the ultrawide camera by itself. And I don't think I've ever seen a phone camera review where the overall samples are so consistently good. And I just used mine at Stonehenge!
2:30 Tyler: Gives a disclaimer about quality on different devices. Me, watching on a 10-year-old 1080p TV with about 20 local dimming zones, dark spots, and inaccurate colours: “Yeah, that’s fine.”
Showing your work and narrating the experience is absolutely the best format for a camera review. This is just so good man. Not the point and shoot, but the editing and thoughtfulness of showing what the cameras can do. I'm team Android but I'll never downplay what Apple contributes to the smartphone photography/videography space.
I am getting the 16Pro tomorrow, and this real world demo by a real world pro photographer just gave me all the essential hints about the workflow and settings needed to get iPhone photos that look similar to my DSLR and mirrorless camera photos, that I always process from RAW in lightroom anyway. Not more work in post than I am used to, but far less gear and weight to carry in many situations. In the past my old iPhone 7Plus with the Lightroom app for shooting DNG's was always just a sort of rescue camera. Now it could serve as my main camera a lot of the time thanks to your brilliant explanation.
The main takeaway from this video is “Why don’t my photos look like this?” 😂 The answer isn’t just about the gear we use-it’s about how we use what’s in our hands. It all comes down to experience, knowledge, and skill, my friends. Thanks for the fantastic content!
This is hands down the most incredibly beautiful thing you've ever shared. It's like NatGeo. And I've been to and shot almost all the areas you did in this video so I've seen all the locations first hand. Amazing job. And yes the iPhone makes an amazing travel camera. Only closeups and very low light really are much better with a large full frame sensor ... IF one shoots ProRaw/ Log. Beautiful work. Really nice.
In the process of switching from Android to iPhone this year, I've seen a lot of these videos about the phone, especially its camera, and let me say, this is one of the best ones - the photos as well, look stunning, incredible job!
Man this is a stunning testament, not only to the iPhone but to your talents as a photographer and videographer and storyteller. this is THE definitive review of the iPhone's photo and video ceiling. Its sad that someone like MKBHD, who while a great reviewer, is just not a photographer - and his videos will get so much attention for simplistic photo and video reviews.
Phenomenal pictures and videos. People who complain about the price tag of the phone have NOT seen any of this. It's breath taking! Creating such amazing memories is priceless!! +1 sub anyway, very insightful video
Been sitting with a 14 Pro for awhile and it's been gnawing away in the back of my head that shooting to another drive and all the RAW goodness would have me grabbing my phone more often to make some pretty pictures - I think this video pushed me over the edge. Walking down to the AT&T store today to upgrade!
And that's how you should do a proper review of a phone. Thank you for going to great lengths to showing us what it's capable of while bringing us with you on this beautiful trip. All the best.
We just took a family over seas holiday and yes I normally bring some serious camera gear but this time I just took my 16pro and it was absolutely enough, blown away!
Loved this whole video. Would love to see one more in depth about your workflow from iPhone with editing photos!! from capture to importing, and organizing to editing!
I wish I could subscribe again lol. This is probably the most comprehensive video on UA-cam for shooting professionally (and _actually_ showing the AMAZING results) with the iPhone. This showcases just how much of a game changer this latest iPhone is. Thanks for the long form video!!
I never comment, but Tyler, you did a great video on this one. I like the direction you’re taking lately. Unlike other UA-camrs suffering from their own fame, you keep it real, interesting and useful. You’ve been top 10 on my list long enough. Welcome to top 2..!!
I completely agree! I rarely comment as well, but this video was perfect. A great blend of calm VO, music, cinematic video, and well edited photos. I'm not a professional photographer but I do video editing. Great work Tyler! I'm a Fujifilm user and own two of their cameras + ten or so lenses. I upgraded from an iPhone 13 Pro to a 16 Pro a couple weeks ago, and I went outside to take photos from my Fuji and compared them to nearly identical photos from the iPhone. I showed my family the pictures and they thought the iPhone 16 photos were the Fuji The iPhone actually had better detail! (48mp on the iPhone vs 24mp and 16mp on the Fuji's) Long story short, I'm selling all my beloved Fujifilm gear because I can't justify the time and energy to haul around and setup my cameras if I can get similar, if not better results from my phone. I agree with Tyler, that low light is the main issue keeping the iPhone from replacing larger sensor camera's but for me, I'd rather use a camera that is always in my pocket. I'm going to grab a set of good lenses for my iPhone 16 pro and call it a day. The video also shows how well the iPhone stabilizes the shots. Smaller sensor = better stabilization and that makes all the difference. Thanks again, Tyler!
Tyler you've out done yourself. This is incredibly well done content and there really isn't anyone else detailing this to the same extent, and that is saying something when you consider its "iPhone coverage" which is everywhere.
This video was a trip down memory lane. Peru, Cusco, and the Sacred Valley is still one of the most beautiful places on this planet. I’m not an iPhone person, but you did a great job using it to capture the beauty. It really came through in this video.
i was here to check how new iPhone looks but i am much more stunned with your trip and photos you took, such a unique work! I really like the compositions and portraits as much as landscapes. wonderful work!
Thank you so much for an informative and inspiring video. Your attention to detail and how you conveyed in straight forward terms your preferences around why you made certain choices regarding formats was excellent. I've quietly been following your videos and podcasts for a long time now, so keep up the magnificent work. It's greatly appreciated.
excellent stuff.. for the regular dad i am.. i'm just going to commit more to just using the iphone purely cuz its in my pocket and don't have to lug around a big camera!
Great photos and videos. I'm also sad the 3x focal length has been killed. My dream is an iPhone with a 2x lens (50mm eq.) with the same lens&sensor quality of the 1x. It could also be easily be cropped into 3x/4x.
Yeah, a 50mm 48MP sensor would be great for 50mm photos and video, and alsofor cropping and still keeping 4K/12MP. Even better if it had like an 1/1.3 inch sensor instead of 1/2
Excellent video - many thanks. I'm a keen, older (70s) amateur photographer who has largely switched from DSLR/Mirrorless to iPhone. There was a lot of helpful content in this - I think I'll have to watch it a few more times. As regards video, I don't do much (but want to do more) and have not spent any money on video-editing software - I'm still using iMovie. That rules out Apple Log, of course.
You are very talented, you are not controversial and this is an amazing argument for us regular folks to use OP3 and iPhone log. I will never buy mirrorless again. Thanks
I throughly enjoyed your video and greatly appreciate your in-depth reviews. You have inspired me to get back into taking amazing photos with my iPhone.
The quality is amazing. I came from an iPhone 14 pro and the jump has made me so happy being a content creator. I love Apple log and RAW. I don't feel like I need to always bring my Sony or Canon camera. Your videos and photos in this are stunning. Thanks for uploading this. Also you set up with Blackmagic on the action button and the RAW on camera control is my set up. It is seemless. Also what baffles me is why Apple is not taken advantage of the LiDAR for cinematic mode. Seems like it would make more sense than software or just using the LiDAR for more depth with the camera in general.
Really great video 👌 How is your photo editing workflow? You take a picture with the phone -> edit in Lightroom -> delete the original photo -> export back to the camera roll or where do you organise your photos?
This is how “review” videos should be done. We can easily read the specs on Apple website. We want to see it in real life, how one can take the most out of it. And you did. Really awesome video and fantastic shots. Watching it on a 50” TV really shows how great iPhones actually are. Thanks for the editing tip by the end of the video 💪🙂
True, seems that they have brought the latest iPhone a little bit closer to a good photographic tool, however - as you mentioned - the gap between 1x and 5x optical is huge, an additional 4th camera (3x) with a reasonably big sensor would be great. Which is why I will stay with my 12pro for another year - it already has the ProRaw whcih I use all the time, just the 2x "tele" is a bit week.
Amazing colors and video. You could literally run a professional Travel vlog with and iPhone and a laptop Video is like this inspire me to get out there and travel the world (one of my favorite things to do) and create new memories.
Superb video which really shows the iPhones capabilities and also a good look into Peru. The raw editing Lightroom part is interesting, especially when you switch to the Adobe profiles. The Pixel is much more robust in this regard, keeping the right exposure and most of the base image characteristics. It basically needs less "fixing" when using the Adobe profiles or other presets you would use on big camera raws. Don't get me wrong, the photo editing results you present are great. Needless to say, the video recording capabilities on the iPhone are simply amazing and way ahead of the competition. Thanks for sharing!
Stunning. Crazy what quality we can get out of the iPhone now. Absolutely beautiful work brother. I have an internal battle happening anytime I throw my phone into raw as a dedicated camera. Only time I use it is when there is no other options while fully realizing it’s more than good enough. I guess I’m jsut romantic about the process
TYLER! Apple needs to pay you for showcasing their new camera in the best possible light. Incredible photos! And videos! Can you just do more “travel vlogs” with exclusively one camera?
Thanks! I wish I could do one of these videos for every camera I review but the timing needs to work out just right
@@stalman amazing video, you should do something with the pixel 9 pro/xl. I think with your editing, those pixel images will even get better.

this was by far the best video showcasing the true abilities of the newest iPhone cameras. bravo!
Новейшей ? Что здесь нового ?😂😂 она с 2017 не меняется, только искусственный интеллект убивает натуральность и смысл самой фотографии

wow…whole another level. The skill of the reviewer and the phone itself.
So refreshing that a reviewer actually produces photos of a quality one would aspire to take. Good stuff man

beautiful work all around and the best pacing for any camera review ive seen. i even watched the ad.

Dude.. great video man! Just got my 16 pro max after upgrading from the 12 pro max !

Amazing video and stunning work! How did your battery hold up during the trip and having taken so much material?
Battery is decent but if your shooting all day you’ll definitely need to keep charging it
